I've defoliated a little as I go. One of the watermelon candy has a flat stem (Fasciation) I've been trimming the leaves as they are growing in abundance on the affected branches. The black orchid smells so good it's very pungent and captivating, I'm really looking forward to trying it now.

11/27: harvest day. Well, i have chopped them all down. I trimmed all the bud and put it in seal bags in the freezer. No drying - fresh frozen. Sometime in the next few days i will turn it all into bubble hash. If i had gotten the buds that i wanted I would have dried and cured much of this. But as this is just a typical looking and smelling lemon strain, it all went in the freezer. If not for all of their expectations set by FastBuds, i would likely have loved at least one of the plants. The one labeled PL1 was a monster. It produced over 27oz of trimmed wet bud. The hat is more than the other 3 plants combined. With a total of 53 Oz of trimmed wet bud harvested and frozen. The one that i labeled PL4 was insanely frosty when compared to the other 3 phenos. I have clones of bother PL1 and PL4 that i may consider using for breeding projects where i want a strong lemon. The other two plants were mostly forgettable.

This one bud in the middle is looking more and more purple each day. If the flower from this plant is what I'm hoping it to be, I will definitely be keeping this in my garden, which would be a first. Earlier in the week, I saw a discolored bud, and upon closer inspection, I found bud rot. Ugh. I immediately cut off the infected bud and the one closest to it. I looked through the canopy but couldn't see any more affected buds. Right after, I went out of town for a few days to Mary Jane, the big Cannabis Conference in Berlin. It was the first one after legalization, and it was wild. I had an awesome time, and it was great to meet up with friends while in Berlin. What wasn't so great was seeing more signs of budrot when I returned home—those days of +85% humidity at the start of last week made the botrytis go brr. Sigh :( Checking the trichomes showed it was still early to harvest, but I decided to chop anyway to save the unaffected buds. I also decided to hang each branch separately, as it would allow me to inspect each one closely to ensure no affected buds made it into the drying tent. Another reason is to decrease the drying time. Usually, I prefer a long dry, but due to botrytis, I aim to speed up the process. Overall, I found 12-15 affected buds, and of course, they're always the nicest-looking buds. I don't care about the yield loss, as more than enough is still left. I only hope the remaining buds are unaffected, and I'll inspect them daily throughout the dry. Now we wait. And hope.

Week 3 begins for DS and MD ladies. All four are developing nice bud sites, but the plants have not stretched as much as I was expecting they would by now. Thank you to Kaoritracy from Mars-Hydro for the TSW2000 light, I am very happy with it's performance. Thanks for stopping by growfessors 👽🌳💚

Lots more stretching in week 7. Plant #1: has finally shown some improvement and has hit the trellis. She's at 16 inches. Plant #2: looking beautiful she's second tallest at 28 inches. Plant #3: getting thicker than other but slowing in stretch she's 3rd tallest in the tent at 25 inches. Plant #4: stretching for the sky! She's stacking bud sites everywhere and absolutely stretching her days away. She's at 34 inches! Still performing a good Defoliation twice a week to upkeep light penetration through the canopy. Still using 1tbsp(3tsp) per 5 gallons of solution(or about 0.6tsp/gal) which is approx. 3 grams per gallon, of both the B1&B2 nutrients from FloraFlex. This is much lower dosing than most feeding schedules but they have responded amazingly well to this schedule. They're sucking down my 12 gal res in about 5-6 days now.

Another 2 weeks into flower and Candy Cream Go Fast from Kannabia is blowing past all expectations and delivering a very quick (auto like flower period) but with strong female results. The way it's at to maturing these past 2 weeks is amazing. I've not been able to give my plants the greatest of care at the moment. But with Xpert Nutrients and Kannabia it's a combo that is very hard to get wrong. I'm getting a lovely finish (fade) and terpine profiles (smells) are astounding and uber sticky. All these Nutrients above were given separately over a 2 week period with water feeds in between each, 2 master bloom & calmag + Enzymes/root were used often too. Ph to 6.5-7 Ppm for bloom stayed 4-450ppm. Light lollipopping was done last week. Needed to allow air to flow through the un lst'ed branches and too much bud. I wish I'd given my plants more care. But, last 2 months have not been good. Crypto market has me in a real bind atm and having to actually work is killing me. Must be in the 6th week of flowering going into the 7th. Staying on what's above and making sure to keep the soil moist or not let it get to dry is paying off. Pinched a couple of the lower suckers. Trying to bend her over and let nature take its course. Trying get some of the inner growth to catch up, Need to be patient with her. All in all, so far, so good. Watering every other day. Not watering all the way through the bag yet. Probably won’t be much longer before I do. Stretch should be coming soon.

Still on cruise control. Everything is going nicely. Temps are within specs and all other aspects seem to be falling into place.
