Hey ho fellow farmers. My little girl is two weeks old and I feel comfy entering the competition with this diary now, she's established and growing fine. Germination could have gone better, I let her stretch a bit too long, I wanted her to stretch a bit because of my dripper ring, I had seen some very dense and compact phenos of this strain and didn't want to risk mold issues down the line. as a result she fell over at the start of the week, I supported her and she seems to have recovered since. She also threw some weird shaped leaves on her second nodes, likely from the stress of falling over, I tend to find ruderalis does this when stressed, more so than normal weed. Couldn't wait for new pots to be delivered so I used a couple old ones I had and improvised with the other 3 and made some from instant noodle pots 😋 I vacuumed and disinfected every inch of the tent today before I put the little ladies in there, I have to say it is much brighter now...didn't realise how dusty things could get! Hopefully removed all traces of pollen. I'll mist/spray these regularly with water as a precaution.

I fertilized with I49 grow 1 tbsp/gal & 2 tbsp I49 Flower. I added this as a preventive measure since I’m seeing issues with nitrogen usage in the lower leaves even though she is in super soil. AK47 must be a heavy feeder. With the extreme heat and rain, my AK-47xl. She grew a foot and is now 31 inches tall. She demonstrates resistance to fungal diseases and bug damage. In the background noise on the video is Cicadas. When they hatch, they crawl onto a tree or plant and molt. The adult has wings. This is the empty body casing. Y hemos llegado al final de esta semana mas que satisfecho con los resultados, no me canso de verlas sobre todo dos de ellas por los tonos purpuras que desarrollaron ya desde el inicio de la floración. Por el momento no me atrevido con la malla pero el tutorado para aprender a jugar con las técnicas de bajo estrés y ver como se comportan las plantas ha resultado realmente divertido.

They began with flowering. Strain was easy to grow. Had some herms but since I only have 2 plants I was able to pinch the balls off. Buds have no seeds and are a strong smoke. Really hits the lungs.

Gave the big girls some HST this week. Pics and video were taken 2 days after the bending. I bent the main stalk on all of the big girls, except one of the Cherry CBD plants. One Cherry CBD plant seemed to have been overwatered and bent over by its self at the base of the stem 😮. I put more soil in that pot and supported the stem so its standing upright again. I think the stem should heal itself in the new dirt and may possibly create new roots. In the veg tent its a bit of a jungle. Since the pics and video were taken I have moved 6 plants into the flowering room (its getting crowded in there). 7 of the clones seemed to have survived, 6 Cherry CBD and 1 DinaMed CBD+, they have been transplanted into 5.5" square pots also since the pics were taken. Sorry I'm a little late getting this weeks post up, I'll try to get next weeks update up quicker.

Start of 12/12 light cycle, round 2 with the citrus skunk strain. Increased feeding to 6L per plant (water + nutes), hopefully this increase will keep the plants healthier throughout the grow.

Microrrizas and trichodermas

This week is start of 4th flower week. The plants look good but i need buy some yellow cards. Buds become bigger and start to smell more intense. The lemon haze surprised me, because i germinated her 15 dsys after them other 2 and shes the biggest of them all. Hope, everything will be fine. ✌️ In the middle of the week i took the net away because it seems they stretched finally and they have a good shape now.

Another successful harvest. This time it was my perfect girl, a very good strain, easy to grow, fast, and without many demands. Besides the controlled environment, it has a wonderful smell. The buds were very dense and sticky. Every time I touched the scissors, a strong smell emitted that filled my room. I really liked the result, and this will definitely be the first of many. 4/16: I love her structure as I said before, now she’s doing weird shit. The last few days some fan leaves have been turning yellow and falling off like it’s starving for nutes so I upped the anti hopefully that’ll fix this issue.......also a few buds started to fucking foxtail on me probably due to heat a few days ago it was 97 degrees in my tent good thing I caught it early 4/17: Today I noticed purple spots on some of the leaves mostly just on the ends.....seems like I may have a purple pheno 4/18: Giant fan leaves are still dropping off I don’t know if it’s the strain itself or not enough nutes, I’m not noticing any type of deficiencies even though I’m still new to this (my 7th grow) but the sugar leaves seem to be doing fine while increasing triches day after day 4/20: The colours are getting beautiful on this here sexy girl.

I placed the 2 seeds in a damp paper towel and placed it into a closed Tupperware. The tupperware was placed in my stereo cabinet (warmest place I could find) and less than a day taps roots were showing. I then placed them in my humidity dome and within 18hrs I had roots sprouting thru the bottom of the sponge. This has been the best start I have yet to have. I also built a new RDWC system with waterfalls to veg and flower these two in. I have photos and video above on the new tent setup. I have it running with just regular tap water until the seedlings are ready to go in. I have also installed a 90gpd RO system (APEC brand) under my kitchen sink. The water comes out 5.8ph and 7ppm. I will be using this RO water thru the entire grow with some Cal-mag of course. The system holds about 25 gallons total of water. The main res is 17 gallons and the two buckets are 5 gallons. I will no longer be using air stones. I have a recirculating pump in the main res, waterfalls in the buckets and of course the main pump running the whole system. Should be plenty of air for the roots. I used 2 in return pipes in the hopes of avoiding roots clogging the pipes. I scrogged last time but I'm not sure I will be going that route. I might just top and train. I will be doing a major defoliation on one and just simple trimming on the other. I am trying to find out if the risks of stressing the plant are worth the returns. All 3 plants are adapting very well to LST, the shape its growing into have been allowing the light to reach further into the lower growth nodes and branches. I like to start bending the branches close to the main stem as early as week 3 of VEG. Now these 3 Northern Lights Auto seeds are from Sun West Genetics, they were all germinated, planted, trained, fed the same way they have been on the same controlled environment since day 1, the 3 are totally different, I know each plant is unique in its own way, but I find strange that 1 plant is taller and stronger than the other 2, the smaller one is growing weak leaves with signs of mutation, all 3 plants show signs of Magnesium deficiency, these 3 plants are sharing a grow tent with a Haze Auto from Seedsman, all 4 plants are under the same diet, the Haze have no signs of deficiencies or mutations, I guess that shows what good genetics look like. For the Magnesium deficiency I have mixed my own Epson salts into water and applied as a foliar spray, internet said the spray should be used every other week, wait 2 weeks to see results. Signs of Nutes burn, I decided to stop feeding for this coming week. The 3 NL leaves are looking unhappy, kind of clawing under, they look lifeless, I have ruled off a few potential problems such as: Wind Burn Under Watering Water PH Light Burn, just moved the QB higher to 17 inches from the highest canopy today.
