I got busy and missed my week 2 of flower update. But here’s week three. This strain has been putting in work. The stretch is decent and I feel like they still have a little more stretch in them. I did a little leaf stripping but planning on doing a lot more in the next day or so. There is a decent amount of tops coming through the first layer of trellis. I’ll keep the girls happy and hopefully she’ll make me happy on harvest day. All in all no complaints about this strain as of yet.

I have been checking them every other day now and this is the week they'll be 'going dark' before I chop and hang them to dry. 12/5- I'm continuing to flush all three with 2g of straight well water with NPK Yucca Extract added, which I then ph to 6.5 @ 68℉, twice daily for a total of 4g each day. The two purple pheno's are just breathtaking in looks and their aroma's! The #2 plant is a beautiful cultivar as well, just not purple, with several huge cola's having formed due to her being topped! 12/7- Today at 'lights out' I placed all three Tropicana Cookies in the dark for 72hrs. I moved them to a dedicated room that is totally dark and which I can keep control of the temperature, humidity and air circulation (same room I use for drying). For the 72hr dark period I keep the temp's between 60-65℉ at a RH of 40-45% with decent air circulation. 12/11- Today, all three of the FastBuds Tropicana Cookies were released from 'Dark Jail'. I actually let them go an additional day, for a total of 96hrs in the dark, and from the looks of them it didn't hurt them one bit! All three look absolutely fantastic and the aroma coming off of them is just incredible! 🤪🔥 Every plant is heavily frosted up and all have tightly stacked, dense flowers. After chopping, I'm going to hang each of them whole to try to extend their drying time as much as possible. My dedicated 'Drying Room' has no outside light and is maintained at 58-60℉ with a RH of 50-60%. I use a de-humidifier, humidifier and two fans in the room. One fan is for air circulation, the other brings in cold outside air and the humidifier/de-humidifier handle the RH. I'm shooting for a 10-12 day dry, but that can always change because we all know 'shit happens'! 😁 My next diary entry will be after these fine ladies are done drying, get trimmed up, weighed and jarred. D16 - I think I had the light a little to close, I see some yellow tips forming on the new set of leaves. I raised it a couple of inches. D17 - Girls are coming along great, I'm thinking of using bonsai wire to train. D18 - Saw some brown spots on #2. D19 - Brown spots on #2 got a bit worse with slight yellowing leaves. D20 - Figured out the brown spots has to be calcium deficiency. Added some NPK cal/mag to #2. Also, I am having a lot of fun using the bonsai wire to LST.

Plants started getting real bushy a couple of days after topping. Low Stress Trained all the plants at the end of the week by tying them down using rubber coated garden wire to spread out the newly grown tops. Also spaced out each plant evenly on the tray and turned on the other 2 PB2000 LED lights I had ready to go.

Week 3: Since this is my first grow, I love to see how quickly the cannabis plant grows, and it's accelerating rapidly. They are thriving and healthy. This week, I used fertilizer for the first time, starting with half the amount recommended in the feeding schedule. 0,5/ml per liter.

First LST. She gets water once every 3 days. Nutrients every other watering

She's done! Whew! I can say that this wasn't my easiest grow. She had some issues in the beginning, due to over fertilizing (see diary) but she managed to produce some beautiful crystallized nuggets. I flushed her for a week but she looked so ready, and she's so loud, I had to chop her down. Stay tuned for the smoke report.

Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. Also spotted some discolouration on a few leaves closest to the light, so I turned the one light down to 60-75%, no need to push it at this point and burn her up! She will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. Well guys it's week 8.. I think lol. I'm 100% certain (Not really) that I took clones from 2 different mothers again... like a real cotton-headed ninny muggins. I'm at a loss when it comes to harvesting early what seems to be done, waiting, and how to do it all with flushing. So any help in that practical aspect would be dope. I'm really excited to be rolling out of this one, to be honest. with all the mothers big and clone ready I can finally just ease back into something more beginner level, shorter, whatever you wanna call it haha. The plants all look healthy though. I don't think I really made any big nutrient mistakes. I used LST to get those big colas away from the light and they seem to be fattening nicely making me wonder if I should just leave everything for 2 or 3 more weeks. I decided to throw a PK booster in there. I read online that most in hydro will use it throughout the flower cycle if needed and I was getting weary about the other plants not fattening up. I just keep hearing these things should yield crazy and I'm not seeing it. Then again it has been a bumpy ride. The nutrient change was done on the 14th and the photos are from today. Stay safe yall

Atleast these girls have some visible trichs and smell pretty good too. I will give them some Bio bloom from greenhouse feeding later today and hopefully it will make them even better. 29.06. Dos Si Dos 33# 1# Day 65# Dos Si Dos 33# 2# Day 65# And what can be said about the champion... these two plants felt the least this, I think this strain would survive a nuclear war lol 29.06. The plants have finally started growing again, some have almost completely recovered, some are still recovering, and some are in critical condition. The plants stopped growing for almost a week, maybe even that long, during those days they literally made no progress, the situation only worsened to the extent that I was sure that all but one plant would wither... There were storms yesterday and the day before yesterday, and that's why I'm late with the update because I couldn't take a picture of them, the gusts of wind were really strong. Watering is now more frequent and abundant, now I water them every 3rd or 4th day, everything depends on the temperature on those days, whether there is wind, how much moisture there is, etc. The last time they were watered was before the storm and they are already thirsty today as you can see in the pictures, it will be a day and I will water them in the morning. Today I removed their leaves again and now I can freely say that they have twice as few leaves as they should, so when it's time for defoliation, I probably won't do it at all, or at least not a lot. The day before yesterday it was the end of the ninth week for the plants, now they are already in the tenth, but in order not to miss the ninth week, I will write it in the ninth and I will write the next update 2 days earlier, more precisely, on time. The day before yesterday it also rained, there was a downpour for about 40 minutes, but the spray that I sprayed on the plants failed to absorb, it simply stuck to the leaf, it is greasy, you can see that in the pictures, the leaves are shining. I think the biggest problem was caused by the fact that it sticks to the leaf and when the sun is strong, the leaf simply burns. In general, do not use the product from the last picture, it can easily kill the plants. Most of the plants have almost recovered and are getting better, however, the rain can't stop that shit and I also tried to wash it, but it's not worth it, so there is a high probability that the problem will return when the temperatures rise again and the UV is almost extreme and that could be a problem... the temperatures have normalized again to 30 during the day, but in 4-5 days they are announcing again around 36-7.. I will copy the problem that befell the plants from the previous two diaries of other strains from a few days ago in order not to explain everything again, so whoever is interested should read it in more detail. 25.06. the condition is medium sad... the plants have not progressed at all, why? Well, because I'm a moron who doesn't think... Basically, what happened.. I sprayed the plants with an organic preparation against thrips and similar pests and if there was no need for it because this is growing outside and absolutely these little things can't do anything for them except something miserable to slow down their growth, but nothing terrible... and now, I didn't even want it to slow them down miserably, so I ordered a product called "SMC Spidermite Control" I sprayed the plants overnight, the next day when I came to the site, I had something to see... which is the worst I sprayed all the plants, instead of checking on one and only then spraying the others...autos I wanted to spray all the same, luckily I only sprayed 5 of them, as if God himself told me "wait until tomorrow to see how the plants will react" and continue...I come to the site and I have something to see...all the plants, but all, some more, some less, but the leaves were massacred blue, black, purple, there were all colors, everything was there, but the least healthy leaves, as if I had sprayed them with the biggest poison, I think that even in that case they would have passed better... was it the product itself or the sun that was strong during the day (I sprayed them at night and the nights were around 18 C in the coldest part of the night, so they had time to dry, it's not that they couldn't dry, but it all stuck to sheets, it was all shining, I think they could see how bright it was from the plane, but literally... I removed almost 50% of the leaf mass from some plants, from some smaller ones... the tips that were supposed to grow and be ready for a new topping just started, so they had stopped completely for a couple of days literally... the situation is now as you can see in the pictures, there are a few leaves that appeared after spraying with that product, and it is still appearing, but very little, just, just, and this there was no point in leaving the leaves that I plucked because they were completely destroyed, I have never seen them in my life... The site I bought it on said that the preparation was organic and completely safe, nowhere did it say that it can literally kill the plants, not even on the preparation itself... I am very sad about this, I have been spraying them with clean water every morning before sunrise since it appeared and the tops have slowly started to grow, this crap is appearing less and less, and I have no more leaves where should I remove it, I would just kill the plants... I hope they will recover (except for one plant that is in a critical condition and the automatics that were sprayed are also in a very critical condition, they are young and will hardly survive this) but if not, I have another white runtz that is not in the diary, it is a little more than 3 weeks old, so I will transplant it into 200 liters of soil, so at least something will come out... I feel very sorry for the plants, I already have enough money invested, and this is also my therapy, cultivation heals me… I'm very angry with the people who sold it to me, and they didn't warn me about such a thing, if it's not written on the bottle itself and on the website, and I've been buying from them for years and they know what I'm growing... the product is not cheap, I paid money for something that will kill my plants, fuck... I mean, fuck money, I feel sorry for the plants, but you understand what I'm saying...
