20 Weeks Total 12 Flower Weeks Harvest HARVEST - 12 Weeks, 4 Days - 2022-11-21T20:00:00-0600 Today (chop) is the 14th day since moving to 18/6. The Foxtailing of the top flowers indicates 1) light stress, 2) Reveg . . .?
Even with 18/6 and TWO full weeks beyond week 10, I’d have waited another 7-10 days to ripen the Trichomes to my liking (>1/3 w/ vanishing abscission). As is - I know we’ve more mass - they’re both trichome laden - the smoke test will tell. Phenos #7 “Broader Leaved” demonstrated moderate inter-nodal spacing, stacking buds put to the terminal flower(s). Flowers started as tiny ‘sunbursts’ of pistols in the common form for broad leaved plants in general. She branched significantly more than I expected - the buds along each mainline cola are on a small stem that’s 1/2” - 3” long, with a 1.5” to 2” bud attached. The buds spiral up the cola, starting (with varying internal spaces) Ambassador Cartwright Ambassador Cartwright by IRIE Genetics Transition to Flower Afterglow X Arise (Clementine X Arise) X Arise -> Afterglow BX1? January 20th: The trichomes on pheno#1 (purple) are about 60% cloudy / 40% clear. The trichomes on pheno#2 (smaller plant) are about 50%/50% cloudy/clear. The trichomes on pheno#3 are around half/half, as well. I might be harvesting them in the next few weeks, depending on how everything goes. Light intensity: 75%

2025-10-15 🌿 This is the first time I've grown Black Russian from Delicious Seeds, and I am positively surprised! 🤩 Great plant structure, very good bud size, easy to grow and harvest—and she's sooooooo beautiful. 💜 The season was kind of rough for the plants 🌧️❄️, but they had great conditions. T hey were sitting in a fluffy bed of enriched soil mix, full of beneficials like microorganisms, mycorrhizae, and microbacteria. 🍄 The soil bed is prepared in autumn the year before 🍂 and refreshed in springtime 🌱, so the ladies can dig in deep and grow like queens. 👑 This year I added 2 SCROGS—and that was very good. ✨ They were also covered by a roof 🏠, which was very necessary this season because it was very cold and rainy in spring and summer, with only a few weeks of lots of sun and heat. ☀️🔥 I think that's the reason all my outdoor ladies took 4 weeks longer to mature. I was very pleased to harvest the Black Russian. 🌸✂️ There was only one spot with starting mold because the flower was peeking out of the roof. So thank you, Delicious Seeds, for being a part here. 🙏💚 I'm sure you'll like this diary, just like I do. Greetings, Larimar 🌺 Strain Information: Black Russian Early Version Genetics & Background Black Russian Early Version results from crossing two legendary indicas with potent medicinal effects: White Russian and a splendid Black Domina mother. This is a selection of the famous "domina" phenotype - a real jewel well-known among Spain's best growers. Growing Characteristics Cultivation: Very easy to grow Growth pattern: Moderate stretch during early flowering phase Structure: Compact yet well-branched - one of the great indica yielders Flower production: Large amounts of very dense buds Unique trait: Very few leaves grow between buds Aroma & Flavor Profile Resin: Abundant, fruity-smelling with citrusy and earthy notes (likely from Afghan ancestry) Taste: Denser than the aroma, very sweet and citrusy Description: Like a fruit salad with lemon juice

Hi all 🧑‍🌾 Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Hope everyone keeping well and having a great week😁 Thank you so much for so much support on this bananas ride 🙏💜💚💜💚 Everything still going pretty well. Girls are developing and stretching like crazy. Athena currently Dec 14 90cm and main stem of Xena is not far of this height either. Unfortunately noticed first signs of calcium deficiency(my opinion) on Athena. Thankfully started feeding both girls with calmag weeks back but the dosage wasn't not enough for Athena. Started small treatment very next day on Dec 11 (see description below) I belive got my baby back on right track. Week 9 Dec 11-17 Dec 11 Watering was planned for Tuesday but due to calcium deficiency decided for a little treatment. Watered both girls with mixture of reduced content of growth nutes by 50% calmag at 1.2 ml per ltr. Reduced solution PH to 6.2 as apperently it's ideal for calcium consumption. Over period 4h I have watered Athena with 5ltr with couple runoffs. Xena 3ltr. Total of 7-10 leaves affected mainly at top colas close to the light. Dec 12-13 Purely observation and all looking well. Of course all affected leaves will progres of showing signs but good news is that growth and development booming and don't see any new leaves with symptoms. Very nice trichomes development in recent days and more and more colours. Dec 14 Second watering for this week 6.5l Increased calmag to 1.4ml per ltr and if still things will be looking well reduce to 1 or 1.2 on next feeding. Dec 15 Very nice respond on yesterday feeding. They definitely fatten over night and getting more and more frosty. Will need to remove some foliage soon as getting extremely bushy again. Dec 17 Xenas main stem top cola almost touched the light today. Tied her to left side of the cabinet, applied selective defoliation on both girls, tied few branches to netting and on the end of this busy day a third watering for this week. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Runoffs Xena PH6.4 Athena 6.3. Very nice week have to say. I belive that calcium deficiency on Athena is no longer a case here and both girls developing very nicely. Both are still stretching, buds are gaining in size and both girls started exploding with trichomes, Thank you all again for such amazing support 🙏peace and love brothers and sisters ✌️💚💜💚💜💚 Stay tuned for new week update 😉🧑‍🌾✌️💚

With no doubt these plants have not produced much more quantity and density of buds due to the 2 serious mistakes I've made (those who have read the weeks will know what I mean). However, I can say that I am happy with the production obtained given the mistakes made. Between the 2 plants, the one that has produced more and generated the most dense buds has been the Gorilla with the Man-lining technique applied, it has also loosed a bit less weight drying than the non man-lining one. In comparison with the Money Makers with which they have grown the result is the same. Both Gorillas have each produced more than any of the Moneys comparing them 1 to 1. Also buds are a bit dense than the moneys, but none of them is really desde at all.

Fun to grow and took to lst and supercropping very well. I am keeping a mother of the stinkiest pheno I got. I made some other seeds that I will be growing out after Jinxproof's pheno hunt. I will be doing a few grows coming up here and its going to be gnarly! Stay tuned in for modern genetics that have been tested and stabilized. These were bag seed from regular seed of LA confidential given to a friend that won them in a giveaway from DNA Genetics.

3/August She was a late starter and in the tent with her bigger sister. I would prefer to have her in veg for two more weeks but her sister is ready so I'll flower her also. She got trimmed today.

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Plant Mol Biol 65: 107-12 Abstract Sound waves technology has been applied to different plants. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. This paper provides an overview of literature for the effects of sound waves on various growth parameters of plant at different growth stages. https://doi.org/10.1016/S2095-3119(13)60492-X
