Officially done defoliating / pruning. Time to just feed and let them go from now on :) Day 19 flower 10.21.23 - Both watered with 6.35pH + 3ml CalMag + 15ml Bloom + 1 TSP RECHARGE. The early developing trichomes are already over the fan leaves and are wildly sticky. The new smells are incredible and can't wait for them to get stronger over the next few weeks 10.21.23 - UPDATE: I took my 'end of week 3' photos and noticed that a lot of the leaves are showing early signs of overfeeding of P/K or both. Will be carefully measuring input/output from here on to ensure a slight lowering of soil EC.

Starting to smell very dank and musky, will start to lower nutrients next week and start ghe ripen. Lots of nice colors coming though as result of changing to LED . Had a humidity problem where it was about 80% I got a 2l dehumidifier on and has somewhat cured the issue , humidity is now as 45-50%

Hey now, hope everyone has been well. Super excited football season is finally here so things are about to get busy. I went out of town for 4 days and the plants struggled a little bit with the PH getting slightly too high before I returned. I also came back to see that some type of insect was munching away on the lower leaves of this little Sundae Driver, so I sprayed the plant and coco with neem oil, but hopefully they didn't do much damage before I can get them under control I have never experienced insect problems indoors, likely because I grow in Coco and not Soil. However, I left a 5 gallon airpot full of coco from a previous grow outside for a couple weeks by mistake, and pretty sure bugs got into. I won't make that rookie mistake again. Anyways the rest of the ladies are looking pretty good, They are almost getting what I consider a full dose of nutrients, even though it half of the manufacturers recommended dosage. I am feeding all Gen Hydro cal mag, Armor Si, and maxi grow. I also add some food grade hydrogen peroxide to keep the reservoir fresh for around 10 days or so but I clean it once a week. Not sure why GD website doesn't allow me to enter GHE under the old or new name. I did get all the ladies transplanted from solo cups to airpots on day 16, and it took 24 hours or so for them to recover from the transplant and start growing again. I am running 3 of the 3.4 gallon, and 2 of the 5.4 gallon just because that is what I had available. I hopefully top them all sometime this week for the first time, as soon as the roots are a little stronger. I let them grow to 7 nodes or so before I top them and make sure they're growing fast. Hopefully I can still mainline the Sundae Driver, she looks healthy other than those two leaves chomped off. All the plants are on their 5th nodes, except for the Green Crack 2.0 which is only on her 4th node. We got another heat wave coming through my region that I am not too excited about but at least its earlly in the game and I don't need to crank this light up yet. I am only running it at 30% and its putting off plenty to keep these ladies happy. Hoping to get a topping done this week, then another one next week, and be ready to flip to flower by week 7 or so. week intel: we reached the peak of flowering stage and need to cause a little more e.c stress from this week so e.c stress is twice a week i reduced the amount of Nitrogen and calcium and stopped feeding silicate in other hand i raised the amount of base nutrient and booster short story version: more K & P - less N stresses : a little E.C stress around 1.6 and 1.7 twice a week from this week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them high with base nutrients(calcium & micros (half dose) + Bloom) about 822 ppm - 1.6 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 525 ppm - 1 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them high dose of Feeding Booster around 850 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause e.c stress again guide of the week : from this week we can cause more E.C stresses. e.c stress if done correctly is one of the very few ways to increase quality in all aspects ( color , aroma , taste , bud structure , resin contents ) but if you over do it , listen carefully brother : it can reduce quality in every aspect so always look for signs and never reach the red line.

End of day 41 flower and will be flushing both girls on day 42 flower. Overall the buds don’t seem as fat as it should be but hopefully during the flush they should gain some weight. I took a bunch of clones so those will be going to flower soon and now I have a better understanding of how to treat these girls during the flowering stage. Also popped two Blueberry seeds so I will have a journal on that soon.

Used royal queen seed fems popped 4 and 3 where successfully. Through veg stage no problems quite sturdy plants growth rate was the same on all round, had abit of nitrogen deficiency. Flower stage everything changed plants started to grow at different weeks and need separate feeds which became annoying, think this was done to pheno types being different. Drying stage: I used this new herb dryer called wedryer for to plants and hung the other in the tent. Wedryer works if you have small yield as can’t fit a lot, drys within a week though but also looses flavour. Have to wet trim bud and then leaves bud flat in one side due to them sitting on the dryer netting. Has fan with carbon filter which stops smells. (But myself prefer hang drying). Used trimbag to finish the buds off love this product and recommend to others to buy.

Day 70 in soil 😁😁😁 I never thought I'd make it this far tbh! I stopped giving the ladies nutes and have just started feeding phed water, and they seem to have all really taken well to it, some last week showing signs of problems which I think was due to the last feed, minor flush and all seem to be okay I think. The smell now is very strong when the tents open a lovely fruity aroma, touching the buds leaves the hands covered and stinking of a fruity lemon/citrus smell (could live with the smell, unreal). The buds have all started to fatten up massively over the last 14 days, some plants producing some amazing colours, all plants have their own difference however all producing equally as good bud sits and growth. I have no past growing experience but im glad I went for dinafem critical 2.0 after some research prior they have been forgiving throughout my learning stages and have been easy maintenance so far! Will get a few close ups with the jewlers glass tomorrow, thinking off letting them run another 7 days until harvest what's everyone's opinions?
