Day 72 since seed touched soil. All is okeish in garden. Joe way behind all, will be huge pain at the end ... Mars TSL2000 is now on very healthy distance. Works fine. Temps are in good range. Humidity spikes to 70 on watering day, but is in 60-65 during others. Happy Growing !!!

The week was partly sunny and partly rainy and our plants had to be canopied on the balcony nearly every day. Rare sunny hours. Humidity is mostly ok, but I‘m checking now very regular if the plant need to be harvested. The flowers are covered in trichomes, she produces again and again pistills, the larger fan leaves loose a bit their color. No amber but blue trichomes. Pure rainwater in the morning and in the evening. Flushing first time with a good drainage. She smells very intense, like a mandarin juice in February: sweet, aromatic with a hazy undertone. Amazing experience with the Mix Pack, I will try it again next summer for sure. Love the variety.

Hi everyone :-) This week a lot of nice things happened in the flower tent :-) Everyone looks super nice, and is growing stronger and more beautiful week by week 😍👌. The blue cheese smells like a dream ;-) As usual from this variety 👍. The kosher tangie is also very, very tasty 👏🏻. Both got Pk 13/14 this week for the last time :-) Everyone else is developing very well 👍, That will be the last diary with several strains together :-) In future everyone will come individually 👌. Started their flush this week, hairs are starting to go almost all red on 2 of the 4, 3rd one is starting to turn as well but the 4th largest one that seems to be behind the others is still way behind. I think she got stressed at the wrong time when I broke one of her main branches at the beginning of flowering. But the other 3 are packing it on and really starting to fatten up. Lots of bud sites now with decent nugs. Tricombs are still a week at least out from being full cloudy I believe, but we will see. Guessing we gonna get a 1.5-2 week flush maybe before there ready. Should really ripen up these buds. Still thinking we are gonna push them 60 days at least. Well that’s about it for this week, Cheers! 💨

Day 52-64 (Day 54) I’m going to thoroughly inspect each plant and remove bananas if found. So far it’s only been the one on #7 but I don’t want to take a chance. I’m also going to give a watering with some runoff. (Day 55) Can’t find anymore bananas but that one. I will probably find a few bag seeds but who knows. It’s way too late for pollen to really have effect anyway. These 5 plants finish nice and early compared to my other tent flipped on the same day. I would never take this strain 65+ days like last time. I would do 56-60 days next time I flower this strain (Day 58) Holy shit this tent is fading like crazy now. They are starting to show some beautiful autumn colors. #1 #5 and #7 are definitely done. #3 and #6 could use a little more time so I’ve decided to take them down on the 24th. I haven’t seen anymore bananas and the one that popped out on #7 has shriveled up and receded. (Day 63) I’m seeing what look like seed pods starting to form in some of the main colas on my picture perfect pheno. #7 is showing 3 or 4 little bananas too. All of the top buds are definitely done so I’m going to harvest as soon as the lights come on tomorrow. I’m going to give one last watering right now and then harvest. I’ve noticed that harvesting a watered plant will extend the dry time by a few days and that’s exactly what I’m looking for. A nice slow dry. Plants are being full plant hung + dry trimmed and tent is being kept at 60-65 degrees and 60-65% RH. Cutting everything down was a pain in the ass. I had to individually cut each square the scrog net so it wouldn’t contract and squish all the buds. I chopped down my other tent as well so I have no other plants in flower right now.

Extra few more days then these girls will be coming down , happy with how everything has gone . Blue gelato and inhouse genetics are my favourite . Will update soon

30/07: Blüte-Tag 1 startet mit dem umstellen des Lichts auf 12/12. Die Pflanze ist gesund und entwickelt sich gut. Ich hätte gerne noch etwas gewartet, aber durch die Urlaubsplanung muss ich Sie leider schon in die Blüte schicken.

This week i‘ve only used Flawless Finish to remove excess nutrient salts from the soil.

So aufgehts mit Fettarschfrau. Gewählt Samen von Flo. Lasse nur eins von 3 erstmal keimen...also muss 100% Keimrate sitzen🤭...keine Selektion etc...und vor Allem ohne dieses Hopfenzeugs🤭 Kommen aber später sicher nicht in Living soil...obwohl ich Flo sympathisch finde, weiß ich mittlerweile, dass es einfach nur ein riesen Markt ist, mit dem man gut Geld verdienen kann. Mann muss lediglich den Gärtnern gut ins Gewissen reden und mit vielen Fachausdrucken wie "Bodennahrungsnetzwerk" etc. gut umgehen...aber es funktioniert. Wurde übrigens alles bei den Amerikanern abgekuckt...wie fast alles andere auch. Dort natürlich alles viel größer wie es z.B. Total days above ground: 63 Total flower nights: 24 Just beyond 3 weeks into flower and the plants are showing their potential. The Mountaintop Mint has made great strides but is still a lanky bitch. I had to HST every branch, and may need to bend a couple more down before vegetative growth abates. Not a fan of this growth pattern and still unhappy about 2 out of 9 seeds providing a viable outcome. The bright side is that yield should be fine given the plethora of bud sites. Despite being difficult to grow next to other plants, I feel much better about its prospective outcome than I did just 1 week ago. That whole "crazy shit can happen in flower" thing rings true, again. Overall the canopy has filled in nicely. I have a couple spots where light is wasted and I'll make some adjustments to the process to fix that for future grows. Now that I've settled on plant size and number of plants, improvements can be made each cycle until it's clockwork. I like the 12-cola vs 8 cola experiement. I've got a fairly long list of edits to make to various sections of my "bible," which means I liked the outcomes of most of my incremental adjustments. Continual, systematic improvement in action... One other incremental change on the docket but not yet realized will be dropping nutrient concnetration once vegetative growth ends. Exact timing will be based on what I see in the foliage. I see some minor tip curl and its a bit darker than I want. So, it may come sooner than later. This'll be something I tweak over the next few grow cycles until I'm happy with the late-flower health. I'll drop fertilizer concentration 10-15% on next refill and see how that plays out. It'll take a couple refills of reservoir to near 100% transition without draining it. If necessary, I'll drain and do a full refill for more pressing needs. A rez scrub before final stretch is coming, regardless. Side note: The impacts of VPD can be enormous. Last year (2025-2 diary) I had a humidifier wick get fouled and RH dropped while VPD spiked for more than a few days, thinking I could power through or that the canopy would soon provide more moisture. Nope, growth stalled in a significant way. By comparing day 34-42-49 of 2025-2 and day 38-42-49 of this diary, I can see a huge difference in growth at same point above ground. The consitency with which i do things makes it fairly certain it's the extende period with extremely high VPDs that caused the difference. Also, interesting that it mostly catches back up by completion of third week of flower. The size difference is nearly undone by this point, though 2025-2 took 4 days longer vege phase to get there. Even so, I still think this grow is more than 4 days ahead of 2025-2 (the difference in vegetative phae duration). Time will tell if the development is ahead of the pace in 2025-2 or whether it's simply mostly an offset due to a less efficient vege phase for 2025-2.
