Water lines getting clogged a little with roots but I put together a little work arround using the water level indicaters I built into the system. (see picture) They are kind of on auto pilot. At this point in the grow I have learned how this particular batch likes things. For example 1.63 is the optimum EC currently. By monitoring how much the EC increases/decreases vs water level I can tell if they can handle the food level, and adjust accordingly, before they burn. I keep them right at the border of too much nutes. If you look you can see all the tips are just barely burnt. I ride the line. I'll update again on Sunday with some fun stuff.

We are in the middle of winter and despite growing in an area that isn't the warmest in Europe, it's really cold now. It's 16-18 degrees Celsius in the house and we need to bring the temperature of the propagator growbox between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation. Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well. 100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots. ----- Our Green Crack F1 Hybrid Auto were born really quickly. second week of flowering done. They were stretching like crazy. Installed a 3rd net to keep the stretch under control. Jumped from 35 cm to 83 cm in 2 weeks. They giving me some headache because of the hight. Should have send them 1 or 2 weeks earlier into flower. But it’s a lesson how to handle or not handle hybrids and sativas. Over all in was quite relaxing just adding water/ nutrients and doing some defoliation. So far so good. it’s quite easy to keep them on the same level with 3 nets. Still learning how to handle certain situations and conditions. But so far I am happy. They have got a massive need of Kalium at the moment. Should have given them more TA -Grow nutrients. But that’s party of learning. Really happy about the aeroponic setup. Really like the full control of the grow medium. (Compared to soil it’s easier for control freaks). Really water efficient compared to dwc/hydro/soil and changes made take effect pretty fast. Really nice oxygen supply at the roots and overall nice control possibilities regarding to roots and medium/solution. A possible downside could be that u can only use mineral nutrients and no organic nutrients. (We want some bacteria and fungus but not these ones that break down organic nutrients. That is more a preference thing than anything else. Good made hydro can compete with soil easily but most ppl put to much in there and ruin it any way. (Don’t want to trigger its good that everyone got its own style and evolves it in his needs and conditions.) The maintenance effort that is required for aero is a bit higher than soil and dwc but it pays off. (Personal opinion but numbers proof it) Looking forward to the next weeks and flower build up. This girl is growing so nicely Ive decided to toss her outside and see how she does. Her FIM worked out nicely and she is growing many long branches.

Both plants in flower and still showing great growth. I added a 20” Flower Power UV bulb @20”~ from the tops set for 30 minutes at the moment, I plan on raising it to 1hr total time over the next week as long as I don’t see leaf burn from it. Currently getting 1.5 gallons of water every 3rd day and alternating with fertilizer. I added a fan to draw more cool and less humid air in the tent and saw a nice drop in temp from 80 to 76~ during the day and 68 at night. Left plant is really compact but a shit ton of healthy bud sights are showing should be a great yield from it! Smells like sweet citrus when you first open the tent 😍 Till next time 😶‍🌫️🤟🏼

I am so glad I decided to do some low stress training!! After that one feeding at the end of last week the plant truly bounced back and showed no more signs of deficiency problems.. 😅 Because I started some early LST I began to see the much smaller nodes develop over this week and it started to give me hope lmao. There was not only a difference in the vibrancy of the green leaves but there was also a difference in the texture of the leaves as well! The ones that were damaged were thicker and more rough, while the new healthy leaves were much softer! For now I will leave some of the damaged leaves on because I don't want to strip her too early but periodically over the next couple of weeks I am going to start pruning and training her more (especially since she's a keeper). I also went ahead and started giving my girl a foliar spray feeding of diluted garlic & onion peel water which I plan on continuing with while in veg.
