Weekly update: August 6th Looking great, major spurt of growth on both girls, #1 (sativa leaning girl) had major final stretch to end off stretch in 3 days (hopefully). And #2 (stockier indica leaning pheno) has had a big increase in flower size in 3 days which is promising, and is also producing a very sweet and tropical fruity gas smell, this is TCP after all! Oh yea and I’m running about 1700 center 500 outer ppfd and tapering down if I see anything but nothing so far all good nice genetics, may drop in the next week even if no signs or symptoms, to prevent and not be too greedy. Now for the not so good… been getting 10% runoff almost every feed, but my runoff of #1 was 3500ppm and pH 4.5 and #2 at 5000ppm and pH 4.5. Been giving around 850 ppm input at pH 6.0, never went over 1000ppm input. So I have to correct with 25% increase in feed volume, 300-400ppm input at pH 7.0 for what I infer to be 2-3 feeds until runoff ppm is significantly lower, and pH is at least 5.5. UPDATE Aug 8: To address the toxic/locked-out root-zone I did a regular feed with runoff (1.5 gal total volume per pot @ 820ppm bloom focus), runoff consisted of pH 4.2-4.5 and 4000-6000ppm... OUCH. I then fertigated with 0.5 gal plain pH 6.5-7 dechlorinated tap water each. I repeated this a total of 3 times, to which the last flush had 3 ml/gal cal-mag. final runoff ppm @ 1000-2000, pH 5.3-5.5. To conclude, I more than likely wasn't achieving enough runoff per scheduled feed, and did not cycle a few plain pH adjusted waterings. I had almost the same thing happen last run with autos, except they were showing signs of lockout, these photo girls are not. I must do a regular watering every 3 feeds, achieve 20% runoff with high ppm feeds, and 15% runoff at least with mild to moderate ppm's. Lesson learned, I hope I get a full run in the future without hiccups like this. this week is going really good! I am flushing right now with just plain water. I was supposed to harvest but I decided to give it another watering since the ppm values were the maximum recommended for harvest and I want as less fertilizer in my buds as possible😁 next time I'll water I'll give them 4/5 liters per plant and when the soil is kinda moist and about to dry I will give them 24 hrs of darkness to increase resin and then FINALLY chop everything off! I'm really excited to try them! they smell really amazing.

Week 5 and the lady is in full pre-flower. One more week of veg and LST. I’m upping her food hoping she makes a big jump this week. I can see a little purple staring in the center of the bud 😍

Still having this weird potassium lockout. Some new growth is burned/spotted. Very confusing situation I don’t know wether to back off the feeding a little. Wouldn’t the plant just leach the potassium rich coco and burn it more? This isn’t a huge issue for me right now but I’d like to find out what is causing this. non buffered, coarse coco

Today is Day 50 !! We have started flower an they are just looking amazing! We have switched up the nutrients for flower, instead of 1 tsp bloom and 3 tsp of veg , we just swap 3 tsp of bloom and 1 tsp of veg !! Can’t wait to see what these laddies do this week!!

Tout va pour le mieux ! Il reste une bonne semaine pour la strawberry gorilla avant la récolte ; j ai commencé le rinçage. Il doit rester environ deux semaines pour sherbet et un peu plus pour la gorilla cookies je pense. Grosse chaleur prévu en début de cette nouvelle semaine, jusqu’à 40 degré Celsius. Les trois dégagent de magnifiques odeurs !

1/22/2024 - Day 22 veg: today is the 1st day of week 4, and every is going well. Lightly watered just to keep the top soil moist, but my moisture level further down is still good. She is showing some very minor tip burn, but nothing I'm concerned about. 1/27/2024 - Day 27: was out of town the last few days, and she is definitely starting to flower already. Seeing some very minor tip burn, but other than that she appears healthy. Not as big as I would have like to see her get before flowering, but it looks like the issue with the foiler spray stunted her a bit.

Excited see this strain develop their bud structures now. They are definitely a lot hungrier this week and seem to showing a ton more trichomes. More defoliation and lst to help spread airflow and light. Still no major issues. ✌️
