This week has been good for these little ones, the runoff was a bit high for my liking so I gave them more water before feeding to help flush out their medium and introduced the bloom nutrients as they are now entering flower. Got one purple looking ones, one green ones and one mixed that is leaning more towards green in terms of colour profile. I remember before when growing these strains I was disappointed in the fact they where not all purple. Now I know and don't care to much. Nothing crazy on the smells so far, hoping they get real juicy and tasty in the next coming weeks. The PH has been harder to lower when the nutrient solution is mixed, it takes more PH down to get ti to the 5.8 that I''m aiming for. Hopefully they explode in growth in the next few weeks.

This is the end to Larry lemon og from seedsman. It Is a great indica strain for a autoflower. 129.5 grams so it joins my QP+ diaries. It has a very pleasant taste, and effect. I did a daily picture from seed to smoke after lst that day if needed. Was my first attempt at doing a daily picture. Basically to show how, and when I go about bending based on plant size not days. Plantas en esta semana crecen mucho sobre todo las 3 de atrás de Purple City Genetics, Royallife1 y Orange sherbet, plantas van reaccionando muy bien al cambio del fotoperiodo presentando las primeras pre flores. Tuve que sacar 2 plantas las mas chicas 1 de Tropicanna Poison y 1 de PCG, debido al alto crecimiento de las demás.

Harvested the more mature plant, it had lost it's top to the wind, harvested a few days ago and has had a couple spots with a little rot removed. Seems stable enough and mature. Going to let the remaining one run out a bit as it seems a bit slower.

Now it needs to dry and then i can test trim leawes and take weight before cure. hang dry in the middle of dark 60x60 tent w/semi good airflow. around 60% hum. After 4 days of hang drying nugs are feeling dry but stems are not yet snapping. Allmost ready for trim and cure. hum. has dropped to 55% Day 6 of drying desided to chop away the stems and branches to get the flowers sealed in bonnebag. timelapse of the trim added to gallery.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Last week the plants grew looking very healthy although I still have a feeling the low humidity is slowing their growth, by the end of the first week I started raising the EC to make the increasing for this week smoother, run-off EC is substantially increasing so I will start to fertigate them twice a day for this week.

Os recuerdo que no hay que hacer mucho caso de las dosis, es orientativo. Por ejemplo: dia 43 tocó riego de BUD, solo con bud hasta llegar a 1,6 EC Añadiendo hasta llegar a 1,6 sin mirar los ml que son. Se recomienda no pasar del 1ml/L y este fué con algo más. Más adelante veremos si se sobrefertilizaron o no.
