Hi 420 Family. The past 6 weeks have been up and down a bit here and there, some noob mistakes made also.... But nevertheless, things are starting to look great. All of these plants are showing quite hairy bud sites and the pistils are mostly milky. WW's are ahead by about a week or two from what I have heard from other friends and growers but we will see. I have upped the nutes a little bit this week, and also added a small about of BioBizz Bio-Bloom. Let's see how it goes! D47 - 22 Aug - So far so good. Buds are swelling up nicely and they are starting to stink (the good kind). White Widow has quite a spicy, potent smell. Purple Lemonades smell sweet and fresh (some purple in the stems and the stems of certain leaves but no purple flower yet; I do hope I get at least SOME purple flowers!). Otherwise, they seem to respond well to the nutrients I have been feeding the past 2 runs. I think for the next feeding I will add some more grow tho, the PL's seem to have a slightly larger appetite for Magnesium/Nitrogen perhaps. After that, proper flush and then some worm tea that I will brew from my leftover worm castings and the normal flowering schedule to follow. I am happy thus far and I really am enjoying this so damn much, I think I've already won this round. :) D50 - 25 Aug - Ladies are responding well to the extra nutrients, and the smells are just next level... The WW's are much more dense and are fattening up nicely. PL still a little behind I rate, pistils are mostly still straight and not as milky. Otherwise, all systems are good and happy to start week 8 tomorrow! :D I have added a heaped cup of worm castings to the top of the soil, let's hope for a great flavor and even more intense smells over the next 2 weeks! These ladies are growing great. After being transplanted last week they've definitely doubled in size. I did some defoliation today taking off the first set of branches and fan leaves that were at the soil level. All in all Happy Growing

This week: air bubbles, air bubbles, and AIR BUBBLES, that's why my growth has been weak lol. AAAAAND I wasn't giving them space between the net pots from the water! VERY IMPORTANT NEW DWC-ers lol Sooo this week I was just letting them be. Until I realize I was messing up, everything in the book EXCEPT those 2 things I state above. I just received my new air pump today as am writing this (everything is installed) very pleased with the new pump. But I gotta replace those airstones they seem clogged up (yes I did wash em, warm water and a firm toothbrush) But I've been checking everything down to my pH that's it's constant at 5.8 My PPM is the same when they drink so let's see the difference a week from now. I do start to see lil pistols coming out on the 1st plants I think shes done veggin let's see next week. Day 72: 600W LED, 18 hours on 6 hours off the same with ventilation. Ferilization is the same except BlackBerry Kush and LSD-25 they are being flushed. Water intake also remains the same 200ml per day. Humidity approx 35 percent. Day 74: BlackBerry Kush and LSD-25 have to be harvested this week Friday so no more water. Colorado Cookies and Northern Light next week so started flushing them. Glueberry OG needs a bit more time.

35 days!!! When I returned from vacation, I found her a little tired:) as far as I know, the weather wasn't very good, but the last 3 days we've had really sunny weather, so even though the girl lives on the north side of the house, she's still maturing there:) she looks really good :) good luck to everyone.

This was the last week for the Cookies Gelato. They've turned purple. Weather is not that great anymore, and I want to avoid more budrot, so I had to chop them down 😛

WEEK 1 - 23/7/2021 - 30/7/2021 My 6th grow! I've managed to finally build a reliable RDWC system. It has been put on hold for nearly a year now. My primary concern is flooding when I'm not around. Another if there is any blackout affecting the water/air pump.  I've had the system on test run for a week now and it has been fantastic. No leak whatsoever! I'm so glad I decided to go with all PVC pipes and bulkheads rather than using vinyl tubing for the waterfall outlet. So far so good! Can't wait to transplant into the system. :) 20/7/2021 - 2 packs  of Harlequin seeds from Weedseedexpress (5 + 1), 12 seeds soaked in 10ml/L of Nitrozyme for the next 24 hours. 21/7/2021 - All 12 seeds transferred to paper towel and soaked with Nitrozyme and placed in humidity dome. 23/7/2021 - Only 5 out of 12 seeds germinated. But all 12 transplanted to small rockwool cubes, soaked with Nitrozyme mix water then placed in humidity dome. I accidentally cut one of the cotyledon while removing the shell. 27/7/2021 - 1L of water mixed with the following: Rapid start - 1ml/gal - 0.3ml Hydroguard - 2ml/gal - 0.5ml 30/7/2021 - It has been a slow start and the seedlings have been showing signs of nutrient burn. Out of 12 seeds only 4 properly germinated and even that is showing issues. I don't have a good feeling about these seed genetics. I'll give another week to see the growth response.

Finally the Sour Strawberry started catching up! It seemed to have some sort of mutation where it topped itself and also rotated while growing. In the timelapse you can see the entire plant rotates about 90° over the course of the week. Sadly the other 3 plants kept throwing new issues at me and were at very different heights, all while the Sour Strawberry was tiny. Bending them had little effect and I did not actually want to super crop them just yet. I had to put in a net.

THURSDAY 7/18: She really perked up in the sunshine with the boom boom spray and kelp dosing, so I put her outdoors again at first light today. I also re-planted her in the same cup, but I put about 2 centimeters of coarse perlite in the bottom along with another handful of soil. Her tiny lower branches are finally getting some light! I'll start training her a bit now, and I should be able to FIM her tomorrow or the next day. She's in direct scorching sunlight for 8 hours a day and about 8 inches below a 40w Sansi 4000k LED and a 75w LED panel (6500k/460nm 1:1 ratio) for 16 hours a day, I'll dial it back to 22-hour days at the first sign of flowering and swap out the blue/white panel for an all 660nm red panel(or two), and continue to gradually decrease her nighttime until harvest I've also got a little 20w spotlight with a Cree chip that's tuned to 3000k that I'll probably hammer her "massive" cola with as she starts to ripen up.😎 SUNDAY: She was looking a little bit haggard after yesterday...I think the sun is beating her up too badly. With such a tiny amount of soil, I think the roots are getting way too hot, even being in a cup within a cup wrapped with duct tape. Today, I'm leaving her indoors under the LEDs, but considering putting her cup inside another solo cup without any drainage holes, and setting that cup into pot of water with a fresh "blue ice" pack so as to keep the root temperature down...and replacing the blue ice pack every couple of hours while she's outdoors...or maybe I'll just take a pot and fill it with some of the orange-red clay that I find when I dig down a couple of feet..create a solo cup sized hole in it so that she has a surrounding layer of clay to keep her cooler during the day...not sure.. I foliar fed her and mixed about 4 grams of Bactrex into a jug with 3/4 gallon of bottled water and douched all my plants with about 2 pints each, except her...she got about 6 oz. of solution. That should really get the beneficial bacteria and fungus kicked into overdrive. I started brewing a 4 gallon batch of compost tea today. Since I don't have any Orgatrex, I am using a little Big Bloom, Kelp Me Kelp You, and Grow Big in the tea in addition to the PK Compost Booster tea from Bio Tabs. I'll add Mycotrex to it about 2 hours before it finishes and thoroughly dowse them all tomorrow morning. MONDAY: Today, after I FIM'd her, I decided to move her outdoors into a semi-shaded spot, with the rest of the girls during the day. To deal with the heat on her roots, I decided to just bury the larger solo cup (no drainage holes or soil in it) up to the rim in a 3 gallon pot full of soil. This will allow me to easily bring her indoors every (or every other) night to soak up more light in my cabinet. The plant's roots will never have any access to the other soil, but I'm hoping that if I keep that outer soil wet it will hold the root temperatures down in the soil inside the cup. If it turns out that her roots are so strong that they "break through" the plastic to get to the outer soil, I'll either remove the plastic and drop out of the contest, or just bring her indoors permanently.😁 She got some freshly brewed compost tea this morning along with a foliar feeding...a major pain in the ass to lug a 5-gallon pail down to the site...maybe I'll invest in a small solar panel and 12 volt battery and inverter so I can do the brewing on site...

I started germination of 2 Moon Walker kush beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up.h Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my first run with MWK. She gets very branchy fast and absolutely loves lst. Responded everytime with a vigorous growth spurt after training sessions. Very easy going on nutrients and didnt have any different needs outside my normal feeding schedule. Super tight compact colas in definite need of increased air flow and movement. Ended up having the fans turned up much higher in the room she was in because of the shear mass and density. Super trichome production outta these genetics. One of the frostiest strains I've grown to date. Just diamonds!!! Amped for this second run.

16/04/2021 (day 68): la plus grande plante a atteint le filet cette semaine mais j’ai été obligée de le retirer. Les tiges sont si épaisses et si rigides que j’arrive à peine à les plier pour les maintenir sous le filet. C’est seulement ma deuxième session et je n’ai pas assez d’expérience pour les plier sans les endommager. J’ai surélevé les plus petites pour avoir une canopée à peu près régulière et j’ai augmenté la puissance d’éclairage à 60%. Les plantes sont beaucoup plus vigoureuses que lors de ma première session et les fleurs sont beaucoup plus belles. Peut-être qu’elles apprécient plus les engrais Biobizz que les BioNova... ou peut-être que je commence à comprendre un peu mieux ce dont elles ont besoin 😀
