So, this is my first grow, just starting out. After NJ passed recreational weed, I was like you know what... Went on an amazon spending spree and got some seeds from cropkingseeds and this is it! I let the seeds soak for 18hr in deer park spring water w/ 1 drop of Organic Liquid Seaweed and Kelp Fertilizer Supplement by Bloom City. At the end of soakage, it didn't look like any had cracked maybe one did not so sure. So I did up the papertowels according to the video and have to say I feel a little nervous/anxious that there is too much water/weight on the seeds and feer drownage. I'm going to keep it on there though. I check the towels a few times throughout the day and am surprised they're very moist throughout the day and next morning still somewhat damp. 24 hours in the towels I check my babies and one had cracked but the rest were still sealed up tight, unwilling to share the goodness that we all so desire, cmon babies crack that shell for papa! 11/12 looked like 1 seed popped, yay! I remoistened towels a bit but didn't wanna soak them. I also put some rapid rooters in water to soak overnight gunna throw the seeds in them in AM... I was going to do it tonight but figured I should wait see if some pop out more. 11/13 OMG upon checking seeds at 07:10 I found the papertowels like bone dry OMG WTF!!! Panic sets in but I just set up the little terrarium with 6 plugs and put the seeds in and tore some plugs off bottom of a plug to cover seedhole with. 11/14 Got a sprout! YES!! The plugs look nice and moist just going to let it go! 11/15 Woke up this mornin, saw a new sprout peeking thru and then another about to! I got ansy and took off the little top plugs and found all the sprouts were coming up! Leaving the top plug off, hopefully thats not a bad idea.

Week just starting off and the one baby has still not broken thru so I take matters into my own hands and attempt emergency surgery!!! I sanitized a Raw loader stick and gently pulled the sprout up. It laid over after and I'm going to give it a few hours before I try to put something to hold it up if it doesn't manage to orient properly. Any advice would be appreciated, This week just started so will edit it throughout the week.. 11/18 Transplanted into 1ga pots and gave first n00tz FF 3tsp/GA Big Bloom. 11/19 Ok so my humidy has been plumiting to 33-36% so I tried putting a rag over a fan, putting a rag in a bowl over the inlet and nothing helped so I went to amazon and bought this! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08GQZDS9J It has a gallon or so tank and a humidity sensor so it cycles to maintain humidity. 11/20 Anyways humidifier shows up today and I kicked it up to 80% and its about 70% after 4 hours.. I'll drop it down once the babies get to growing a bit more. I'm actually worried I transplanted too soon. Shout out to my boy Jeff! And a smaller shout out to James! 11/22 So no real changes the last few days, the plants still aren't thirsty so holding off on that. I did rearrange grow tent to allow me to set up a camera to capture time lapse of the process and I had to get some power to it so it doesn't cut off when the lights go out hehe. I mean all is well I guess, I'm still concerned bout my little plants and the one with the crooked stem. Although I'm thinking the more I keep hands off right now the better chance they'll have! Wish me (and my babies) luck! 11/24 So everything looks smooth, today I uploaded a time lapse of the last couple days which if you speed thru it can see movement of the plants which is cool, but I'm stressing that my 3 way meter isn't correct. Its reading like 6-7 on moisture scale after about 7 days of being on the same water/feeding. I am anxious to water again but don't want to overwater...I mean I do feel some moistness if I press down on the soil. I'm quickly learning this is a great means to work on your patience!!! Oh and I'm rapidly losing hope for the bent girl, so sad.

Well this wee finally got around to watering the girls again, I don't know I'm concerned about proper flow thru my dirt but it seems to pass thru fine. But I fed the girls more big bloom and I removed curly from the others and did not water... But when I told my wife about giving up on curly, she wasn't happy.... She said, "let me see that girl!" And then, "I see a root, don't give up on that girl!!!" So I went ahead and watered her too. I have to say, I'm happy with the two plants and the the other two smaller ones look fine just slower. The tiny girl I'm not sure what her deal is and curly... SMH we'll see... 11/29 Good to see results from measuring. I have to say I have been bad at keeping my log updated. Now having seen the measured growth I understand another reason to log and measure results. Because with my eye, I can't see shit for growth lol! I thought I was just s'posed to say let there be weed and there was!?!?! 11/30 Watered with 6tsp/ga Big Bloom and 2tsp/ga Grow Big according to Fox Farms schedule. 12/1 So I'm trying to do better with logging and capturing pics so hopefully I'm not polluting the journal with too many pics and info but I feel like the whole point of this is to capture as much info I am able for my own sake. To help me learn from errors, to come back down the road and look at my first time tryin to grow, etc... Enjoy!

Just realized we rolled into weed 3 of Veg! The plants are looking good so far. I used the dirt from poor girl plant 6 that died to top off the rest of the plants. Today I finally got too anxious/tired of waiting for plant 5 to grow up so I pulled the rapid rooter plug and carefully broke it apart and found the know of the stem/root and detangled it and tried propping it up. We'll see how that goes, fingers crossed. Also plant 3 seems to have some funky looking leaves, not sure about them, any ideas? 12/4 I don't know what I was thinking but that emergency detangulation surgery turned out to be a disaster. I came back like 3 hours after and poor baby was wilted. So I pulled her and moved on. Today the plants lookin great, decided to take some extra pics 12/5 Man, its been like 7 days since I've been measuring growth and in 7 days, plant 1 has basically doubled in size with 1" height and 2 5/8" Girth. Amazing! Hopefully plant 3 will start looking better. She's the only one who's not looking as good. I'm kicking myself for being so careless when orginally birthing these girls because I didn't accurately keep track of which seed was which and now I basically have no idea which plant is which strain lol!! I was hoping I could tell them apart but I think 1/2/4 look the same and 3 is off. Not sure if its a strain thing or a health issue. Anyways just going to go with whatever and figure once they start maturing I'll be able to tell the difference.... Hopefully! 12/8 So this week has had some ups and downs but heck its been a great experience and first grow so gotta figure I'm going to have them... I think I am going to hold off on posting into week 4 until next Wednesday as I've noticed that once you post the week any updates you make don't get updated to followers. So Just going to wait the week then post the pix, updates and info all at once! Thanks dudes see ya next week!

This week went fairly well, but I became concerned with some leaves appearing crispyfried along the edges and some looking deficient. I finally started cutting my girls and I have to say, I felt ashamed at wounding my babes but hopefully it'll go the right way, guess we'll see!!! I also flushed my plants with ph Balanced water this week and going to only provide this to water/feed them for another few days for fear of nutrient burn and simply following the feed schedule for my nutrients. Also, I took some pics for the Christmas contest for Crop King Seeds lol hope you like them more than my Paw did! I want to send a big shout out to my Dad who is giving me advice based upon his UNCA Biology BS experiences... Thanks Paw!!! I also want to say thank you for all the likes and interest in my grow, much love yall! See you next week!!! What follows below is the transcribed daily notes from the images above! 12/9 Plants looking good, I fed/watered w/Sunday's Ph 6.2 6tsp/ga Big Bloom & 3 tsp ga Grow Big. Next time I'll flush. I don't know if my runoff ph is bad or good because the plants are eating leaving acidic runoff 12/10 Plant 1 looks so Good, might be time for LST soon 12/11 Plants all showing Improvement/Growth Plant 3 still slowest but she's still growing. Under grow lights I think I see fringe yellow tips. Still on track to flush w/Plain H2o next watering. 12/12 Flushing w/ PH Balanced H2O no noots. Plant 1 has a leaf turning yellow on half so went with ph balanced water w/no nuets to flush all. 3 Growing ok but still a little off looking 12/13 Moved inlet vent to point up and clip on fan to blow on girls. Plants look great after a day of plain H2O. 12/14 Plant one having a small bit of leaf burn on widest leaves and a weird dying on lower leaf. They looked bad under light so I pruned em. Turned up humidifier to 65% been running low. 12/15 Topped Plant 2 Rinsed all w/PH Balanced H2O. Nervous I took too much from #2 But my thinking was I went easy on 1 yesterday so go aggressive on 2 to view effects. 12/16 Trimmed 2 crispy leaves off Plant 1 used Bonsai paste to cover wounds, Plant 2 stem looks narrow@ base wider up top. Trimmed 2 sucker leaves (1st leaves) from Plant 4 Rinsed all w/ PH Balanced H2O Thats it! Thanks yall, see ya next week!

The stem on this plant appears to be narrow at the bottom growing beefier up higher. Any ideas on strengthening it up or will this hurt me further along?😲 I think this plant got knocked over once so perhaps thats it, just hope it doesn't choke the plant further along. Ideas?

It seems to be genetic or that there wasn't enough light during the early seedling phase. Either way, it looks like you have room in your pot to add more soil. You can bury the lower part of the stem and roots will grow from it. I would do it just in case the plant tips over because it can break, being that it is a weak spot. I also noticed you are feeding the full dose of fox farm nutes. I know the feeding chart says to use that but it is an easy way to nute burn your plants. I start off with 1/4 dose then go up to half dose the next feeding. Since you started the plants in a large pot, the roots haven't colonized that large space so nutrients and water are collecting in the soil not being used. You can see discoloration and leaf tip necrosis already.

OMG too, I have been keeping my go pro doing time lapse photos in the tent, I made a video with first 26days in 3 minutes Check it out! Wow, growth is beginning to light a fire in my gut, feels good man! Although, I'm starting to get curious about plant #3. For the past few days, this girl (3), has been not growing in girth or height. Although she seems fuller and healthier.. Gonna wait her out! OH Another thing, A great big SHOUT OUT to Sacred Geometry and Astarte for giving me great advice on my stem issue with plant 2. I went ahead and chose SG's for my answer simply because I felt topping the pot was the right call. Oh but be aware, that my plant heights all went down due to topping off the pots with more soil... But I feel more comfortable about that plant now. Also I heeded SG's advice on Fox Farm Nutrients and halved the recommendations this week. All right, on to my daily log entries. These can all be found in the pics above, but I feel like it makes my comments more beefy.... 12/17 Humidifier ran out of H2O, trimmed first leaves & suckers off Plant 3. I know she's little but I hate her having to work harder for those terrible nutrient suckin leaves 12/18 Rinsed all plants w/ PH Balanced H2O & watered lightly around stem. Sat Back and enjoyed growth. Man, 4 is kick ass! Put in CO2 cannisteter @6:07P 12/19 Trimmed last two weird leaves off plant 3, only left 2 pairs up top hopefully enough... just wanted to get it focused. Topped $4 too, left 3 nodes 12/20 Fed w/ 1.5 tsp/ga Big Bloom / Big Grow, 1/8 tsp/ ga Clean Kelp topped pots w/Dirt (SO SG!) so heights went down Did not top #3's pot too short. Rinsed plants w/ PH Balanced H2O TDS @ 1154 PPM PH out 4.35. 12/21 Topped plant 1, removed bad leaves, P2 pinched baby suckers. (I realize now I'm not really topping, I'm more just trimming suckers) 12/22 CO2 juices on P1 leaves caused almost holes thru it Dropped light to 19 1/2" f/ #3 12/23 Measured plants, shook up CO2 cannister #4 Power Growth! #3 seems to be fuller but no measurement changes! Well there ya have it folks, thanks for stopping by and saying hey I do appreciate it!! Cya Next Wednesday! edit: I just watched video again and realized the two little dots on screen everyday are power lights on plugs breaking out electrical tape now!

Man p4 is coming on strong after knocking of the longstanding p1 Queen of the crop. Crazy, I thought plant 3 was goin to be lucky to survive and she kicks booty! Another video up there 12 days in December cuts off about an hour ago. I have to say this week went pretty uneventful other than getting everything potted into their final 3ga pots. I'm trying to get the plants up to around 12" before flipping but getting anxious about it. If plant 3 wasn't so dang little I'd probably had flipped the ladies already... But they're still a bit short. I'm finding overcoming impatience is the biggest lesson I'm learning. Below is the transcribed daily notes you can find in the images above: 12/24 Measurements good, 3 still looking slow. 12/25 (Fed w/) 2 tsp/ga Big Bloom / 2 tsp/ga Grow Big 1/4 tsp/ga Clean kelp. Trimmed suckers off p2 repotted #3 1225 ppm tds, 4.43 ph out. 12/26 Humidifier wonky, got soil warming up to transplant but think maybe wait as soil still a little moist. Trimmed suckers off 4, rinsed all w/ph balanced H2O. 12/27 Humidifier ran out 12/ 28 Repotted 1/2/4 fed w 2tsp ga grow big/big bloom, 1/4 tsp clean kelp. trimmed 2x suckers off 1 b4 I thought about stress f/ potting. 1295 TDS ppm 12/29 trimmed 2 browning suckers f/ P3 12/30 cut low brances/suckers messed up leaves/babvies on P2

Sorry guys I've been slacking on this! I think when I put the netting up, I quit being so into the daily photos and records due to not being able to move them so freely anymore. But here's some pics that week. Changed timers on lights tonight so morning of 13th first day of flowerz...

Was playing around with netting here, I never get the hang of it ;( Back on nutes this week, I really didn't do much measuring of the girls this week due to netting as well, but I did flip the lights on 1/12.

Wow this week has been crazy, I think the LST I did on plant 4 really helped spread it out... I'm at a loss as to how to treat plant 1, 2, and 3. 3 is still kickin, she little but she's growin buds! Some Log entries... 1/28: Fed with week 7 noots, trimmed a few dead leaves and did some LST on #4 tryin to get all buds on same program. 1/31: Watered with sledgehammer flush later on at night.
