Week 3: Vegetative Stage – Training, Defoliation, and Entering Full Flower The Apricot Autos have really taken off this week. I’ve been doing a little defoliation here and there, but over the course of training and tucking, I sometimes get a little heavy-handed and manage to break the odd leaf. Even with these occasional slips (you can see it in the pics), the plants are still shaping up nicely and getting huge, though not as much as my previous grow, which was also Fast Buds autos. By the end of the week, the plants have started to noticeably stretch, which I’m happy about since it makes them easier to train. At this stage, I like to train using mental pegs, gardening wire, and leaf tucking. I rarely remove any leaves until I have a clearer idea of the plant’s final shape, which did evolve quickly this week, prompting me to take action. On day 27, one of the plants is entering full flower, while the one with the misshapen leaf is a couple of days behind. The difference between the two is becoming less noticeable, although one is still bigger. Current Setup: Medium: 70/30 coco/perlite mix with Great White Mycorrhizae added during transplant Lights: DLI set to 22 Nutrients: Big Plant Science (introduced midweek) Despite breaking a leaf or two during training, both plants are progressing well, with flowering now fully underway.

WEEK 1 of flower. This is insanely quick, veg for three weeks and on week 4 we are flowering strong. It is raining a lot, so i had to use a top dressing, ingredients on the week 3, to manage the soil nutrients till the end of the cycle. About two table spoons. Watering once a week, with the mix above, otherwise rain is taking care of them, very natural as a grow, nothing much complicated, no science fiction with fertilizer or chemistry. I’m curious about the yield, and how much can i pull out of this way, with minimal work and a nearly inert soil. Let’s see how this experiment turns out.

Strawberry Cadillac – STRNG Seeds W12F3 1/25-31 I fed on 1/24 but Cadillac#1 needs more frequent watering than the others. Watered ph6.4 on 1/26 with another gallon. She is the largest and dries out next to the heater. 1/27 TPS1 14ml/g Silica Gold 3ml/g 1/27 73 6.5 ph & 935 ppm 1/27 66.3F, 6.6 ph & 1014 ppm To balance out the feed solution, I blend some of one bucket into the other and then back to the first bucket. I do this a couple of times to even out the PPM and temperature. Strawberry Cadillac #1 51” #2 52” each drinks 1.5 gal Strawberry Trop Cherry #1 37” #2 57” #2 drinks 1.5 gal #1 only 1 gal Straw-Lectric Lemonade #1 40” #2 50” both drink 1 gal. Important dates 11/9 Germination 11/25 Transplant to 1.5 gal, 12/1 Topped, Pinned and removed 2 large center leaves 12/5 Repositioned pins and removed lowest fan leaves 12/16 Topped 4 tops on each plant except Cadillac1 (first topping) and put manuka honey on the cut. 12/24 Transplant to 5 gal 12/27 Defoliate all 12/28 Flip to 12/12 1/05 Supercrop Cadillac #1 at the joint where I topped her. 1/11 !st flower week defoliation and lollipop for all the Strawberry collection. 1/16 More super cropping of Cadillac1 and 1st time Trop Cherry2. 1/29 I did the final defoliation on all strawberry gals. Blue Dream'Matic growing strong. Defoliated her this week and she bushed right back out again in a couple of days. Lightly fed some Espoma Organic Grow this week. She seems to be in a friendly competition with the Auto Lemon, they have been battling back and forth to see who's taller. Fight all you want girls, I'll be the winner in the end. 👍

27/02/19 - This one is great, I popped the seed 24hrs after the gelato and this one seems to be developing its leaves a lot faster than the rest, so far really happy with DNA and with mills nutrients, it’s a lot easier to mix and I no longer have to use ph down because once all mixed it’s at a 5.8/5.9. 👌🏻 02/03/19 - Just transplanted all into their final pot, just in time I think as it looked like the roots were starting to circle at the bottoms of the pot, sprinkled half a tea spoon of Mykos on each hole prior to the transplant & fed them 2.5 litres each. I was going to saturate the whole pot but I’ll do that next feeding.

2 Gallons every feed PH to 6.2 So far im liking trainwreck. I did a ton of trimming i wanted more light to hit my bud sites. As they say we ain't growing leaves. Think I need to add more cal-mag might be turning into a cal-mag whore? We will see......

The Real Amnesia (Growers Choice die echte holländische Clonedame): Steht bei 22 cm und hat den Fimming-Effekt perfekt umgesetzt. Kein übertriebener Stretch (noch), aber die Buschigkeit ist top – viele dicke Seitentriebe, die schon jetzt nach oben drängen. Die Sativa-Domina zeigt ihre Power. Beide haben das intensive Training (Fimming/Defoli/LST + Far Red) ohne Probleme weggesteckt Growers Choice Genetik ist einfach next level. After overfeeding the plants in the past, I've been feeding not enough, lateley. Plant #1 shows nutrient deficiencies. after giving more nutrients, plant #1 seems to recover. The build up of flowers is amasing. The flowers smell really sweet.😀

Day 71 Update: Watered both plants with almost a gallon until runoff. Water was just plain pH balanced water. Plant #1 has 5 days left on flush and Plant #2 has 11 days left on flush. Although with my tent filling up, I will probably harvest Plant #1 tomorrow as I don't think 4 days of being in there will make a difference in the end product. Day 72 Update: Harvested Plant #1 today. Plant #2 has 10 days left on flush. Day 74 Update: Watered plant with 3/4gal of pH balanced water until runoff. Plant #2 has 8 days left on flush. Also, added another stake to help support a heavier branch. Day 76 Update: Placed buds from Plant #1 in jars to start curing...maybe a little bit too long drying, but if that's the case I'll toss a boveda pack in. Plant #1's yield was 57.2g or 2oz 1.2g. Plant #2 will be harvested sometime next week and I will update the harvest page as soon as buds are dried and weighed.

Hey guys/gals welcome to my first grow diary! Well it's week nine and it's still 🔥 in my tent. So I decided to change my light from the philizon 600w to a Viparspectra vs1000 to try to help the flowering and see if it would cool my tent down some. It helped by a degree or two but anything helps! The 🌸 were responding to the Viparspectra very well until I missed a watering day and she got to dry from my blazing tent. So when I came home and checked on my girls I noticed my Northern lights is lime green and the bottom leaves are yellow and falling off. So did some research and it's nitrogen and a lack of other nutrients that cause the loss of color. So gave a heavy feeding. The only problem with that is the top layer of soil absorbed water and then it all ran to the bottom of the pot and into the runoff tray so I let them soak for 10 mins and then drained runoff. So the top and bottom are moist and I can push on the side of pot and u can feel it's dry soil but the pot feels heavy. So I will wait it out and feed again. I have noticed the color coming back to the Northern lights so their is improvement! No issues with pineapple auto! UNTIL..... Don't use neem oil on your plants in flower!!! Before u wonder yes! I sprayed them in dark cycle. They soaked over 11 hrs before lights on. It literally says on the bottle u can use up till harvest day! So I drenched them in neem oil lastnight because I believe the bugs are causing a lot of my deficiency problems. Got up this morning and bugs are still flying all around. The neem oil is a bust! Also checked the plants as soon as lights on this morning to make sure oil was absorbed and noticed all the pistols on both plants are fried. They were white and plump yesterday so that's all I can think it could be. I did read an article that also says that neem oil shouldn't be used in flower because it has chemicals toxic to humans. Here I copied the article: Neem Oil will leave an unpleasant taste/smell on buds when used to treat flowering plants, so don’t let this stuff get near your buds! There’s also some evidence Neem oil may be harmful to humans so use with care! That being said, Neem oil is an all-natural remedy that is very effective against many different types of bugs and mold. You will need a mister (also called a “One-Hand Pressure Sprayer”) to spray all the leaves evenly since neem oil and water can separate easily. *Bugs* so I've said this before but in case your just reading this week of my diary I bought some cheap potting soil from Walmart for this grow. I spray my sapling with a spray bottle for the first 7 days for water and on day 2 spraying the soil I noticed little tiny white bugs crawling all over the soil and from then on it's been a battle that I'm losing. I have now ordered some dematious earth sure I didn't spell that right! Hoping this will help. We shall see. Well till next week! My 4 plants are still there, with the banana as a smile 🍌😁 I continue the defoliation, I wonder if I'm not doing a little too much sometimes.. We will soon see the result 🌗Switching to flowering this week, I reduced the length of the day by 1 hour each day until reaching 12 hours night time / 12 hours daylight on the 33rd day!🌞 🌺On the 33rd day I apply a layer of organic nutrients mixed with a little soil that I add to the top of each pot. I added 35 grams of BioBloom to each of my pots🌺 (Pot of 7 Liters / 2 gallons) ------------------------------------------------------------ 💧Watering I water all my pots the same day but with more or less water. Simply by lifting them; A light pot is a dry pot and will need more water, A heavy pot is a wet pot and will need less water.
