So I think this was the 7th week or so but I flipped to flower with a 48 hour dark period around day 53ish. I opened the tent to neon budsites!

Finishing off the first week of flowering and watching the buds grow :) All strains seem to be happy with with 1L water with 12ml nutes 25/75 veg/bloom each, every other day. Missed the defoliating deadline in veg mode but have done some very light defoliation this week, I should do more I know and will once flowering is a bit more established. A bit more LST, again on the careful side. The next grow will get the full treatment :) Of course things were going too well, a couple of hours ago while I was working on climate stabilization contra running costs (I got my first power bill since grow start) I noticed 100's of very small ants all carrying eggs exiting the base of my Gorilla Glue's airpot. I had been trying to work out why she in general seemed a bit laggy. Now I might have the reason, grabbed the Neem as 1st defense and gave what I could see a good spray. For those that I couldn't see and were probably munching on the root system and tunneling through the medium I added 4 tablespoons of fresh coffee grounds and 6ml of Wood Vinegar (pyroligneous acid) to 1L water and gave the Glue a soaking. This all happened just before lights out so now hopefully by lights on the ants will be gone and the Glue will start to perk up. Yesterday I flipped the switches on the LEDS to include deep and IR light to the spectrum. All in all a good week I think, any tips and advice always welcome :) *Update Gorilla Glue is looking much better 12h after the treatment for the ant infestation. Coffee grounds and wood vinegar, natural, safe, effective and cheap as well. I have Cinnamon as well now, so I'm well prepared for any future ant invasions :)

Waiting on time... She's ready for a transplant now and I'm waiting on my nutes to be delivered so I can amend the Coco. Great looking roots on her though and she's getting spread out early on to promote some side branching. She'll be much happier in the 3.9 gal AutoPot with the Beanstalk slow release amended media. I think I'm going to scrog her out as well to maximize the bud sites. Should start getting exciting here soon enough... If the postal service can get me my materials.

After another weekend spent away from home, on day 26 both Opiums present at 30 cm height, having grown big and bushy. Their thirst increased, I will water them when their next day starts. And do some more LST. Not too long until I can install the scrogging net. I am really impressed by their progress. They developed a lot of branching side branches and look really healthy and bushy. In contrast to what I wrote before, I think I can stay a few days longer with the current 80% 18/6 lighting scheme. Leaf positions do not show signs of light hunger, so no reason to change. Watered them with 1.5 l each on their 27th morning, this time adding some flower fertilisers too. Compensated their relief with some more LST. I can see in timelapse video they are tmelselves compensating this stress easily; it’s amazing to see how fast they turn their heads. You’ll see soon too. For reference: Pot diameter is approx. 25 cm. So lady #1 spreads about this much, lady #2 is even about 10 cm more. Guess they’ll make a very dense scrog surface, but first let’s have them have their stretch. Day 28 evening revealed ladies are getting thirstier. The holey pots might be helpful in root development, but they are not when it comes to keeping the tent clean. Because of their structure, water runs out in respectable quantities each time they are fed, which takes a long time to evaporate and adds to air humidity of course. Which on the other hand is currently quite ok. Outside air temperatures are around 30 °C the last days, so a bit more humidity helps to keep the VPD in range. Which is quite ok as I still cannot complain about their growth – around 2–3 cm each day currently. Grow video for day 28 (sorry about the interferences! Due to the control hard- & software being offline I cannot silence the blower(s) when a photo is taken anymore) shows steady growth and very vivid movements again. Dropping of their leaves around their evening is possibly due to me watering them again as soil was surprisingly dry already. On their day 29 evening, it’s clear to see how much they are stretching: They really gained 5 cm since yesterday! Lights are close to 30 cm, so I think I’ll reposition things a bit when their next week starts. Attached video shows the day’s progress. They say you cannot scrog an Automatic but seeing the development speed and bushiness I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I guess the buds can profit from being a bit more apart from each other if I handle to fiddle them through the holes in time. I rearranged the lights to be at about 45 cm apart from the tops and set the lights to 100% at a 16/8 lighting scheme, waking them up one hour later than before and sending them to sleep one hour earlier. Last day of this week, day 30, shows that growth speed has even increased. Lady 1 crosses the scrog net already which is positioned at 46 cm above soil. Gave them slightly enhanced water again, 2 l each.

Start of week 4, she’s not stretching like I thought she would but she’s healthy no nutrient burns or adversity of any significance. Topped her in week 3 with success. I took a risk and transplanted her into a bigger pot on day 30. Seemed shocked at first but is now thriving ... onto week 5.

Gave Smurf her 1st feed. There is a little discoloration on one of the leaves, maybe from too much nutrients? She seems a little small going into her 4th week. Had to replant after my dog dig her up @ week 2. Seems like she is a week behind schedule when browsing everyone else’s grow. But she is starting to grow fast, Hope it continues and shoots up soon!

Chance Of A Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Wonder Pie Week 7 18th June 2020 Okay so I will start off with the good part of the week so as not to shock you too much..... Last week I mentioned how I needed to "feed" the Living soil I'm growing in and this week I got stuck into it I did a run of worm tea straight from my worm farm. I then filled the bucket with rainwater and added in some Blackstrap Molasses (Vid 1) Then in went some Greenhouse Feeding "Enhancer" and Seaweed solution Then once that was all mixed in I added some "Dr Greenthumbs High Tea" and threw in a few airstones and starting the bubbling process which will take aprox 48 hours. The Purpose of this Byodynamic "TEA" that I'm brewing is to provide essential microbial feeds to the living organisms within my soil in the form of natural sugars and starches etc. I also chopped up a fresh piece of Aloe vera and let it soak in a bit of water for a few days that I was planning on feeding to the Girls............ Now for the Part that is both upsetting to me and to be honest very bloody Disapointing!! 😠 Two of the three Wonder Pie Plants have Lots of Male Balls developing and are Fucking useless hermoprodites 💩 The 3rd Plant so far has no sign of Pollen sacks developing but if it Does then all of my hard work to date will be for Zip because I will be pulling it up just like I did to the other two 😢 So there you have it 7 weeks of Good growth not to mention Energy costs etc down the drain for those two plants and if the third one goes Hermie too I'll be out of the Running to win that trip to Amsterdam 😢 Because the other Female plant I have growing in the same tent (Dinafem Cheese) has not shown any signs of Hermie traits I'm putting this one down to VERY unstable and unreliable genetics so if you are growing this strain Wonder Pie keep a good eye on it once flowering has been initiated as I got lucky and saw them early but if left to grow unnoticed just one rogue pollen sack could seed your entire crop with unusable hermophroditic shit seeds . Just in case I get lucky and the final plant stays Fully Female , I went ahead and added in 30grams of the Bio Bloom Mix to her soil and watered it in . Well thats my story for the week Not the one I was wanting to tell but shit happens and it happens to me on a regular basis 😖 If I dont update again from here you will know that it went hermie and got destroyed . Adjusted the light distance to 55cm again it was toooo close about 32cm. 10/12/2019 - Decided to go back and check the basics, removed led strip to give a proper 'night' time, changing light cycle to 20/4h no more 'exotic' 22/2h, re-checked the light distance every 2 to 3 days to ensure 60-45cm and I can tell all ready she is loving it. Also added home made Co2 made with 1 tsp of yeast, 3/4 tsp of sugar 700ml of warm water in a 1l bottle with a tiny pin hole on the cap. 11/12/2019 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.5PH water with 0,5ml of each Grow, Bloom, Max and Alga-mic, and 1ml of each Heaven and Vera,noticed about 10% run off. 12/12/2019 - 8 weeks have passed and no flowers I guess I'm flipping to 1212h to see if she reacts.
