Can notice the sativa traits in her with more distance between nodes, and her slimmer sativa type leaves . Week 8 Veg – Go Big or Go Home! 🌱💪 Hey, Grow Fam! 🌿 What an intense week it’s been in the grow room! This was one of those “go big or go home” moments, and I decided to take it to the extreme. I’m holding off on flipping to flower for just one more week because the plants are filling up the space beautifully—I can’t help but push things to their limits and see just how much these ladies can give! 😎✨ This week was all about maximizing growth and creating the best canopy I can. I did a light defoliation, just here and there to open things up a bit, and then came the bending—LOTS of bending. 🌱 I’m working hard to create an even canopy, though with all these different genetics, we’ll see how close I get! 🤞 Regardless, I’m giving it my all, and I’m super pumped to see how everything will respond in the next stage. The final touch this week? I ended it with a bold 36 hours of darkness to prepare for the big flip next week—flower mode, here we come! 🌸 What Went Down This Week: 1. Canopy Work – Bending and training all over the place to try and keep things even. It’s a real challenge with different genetics, but the payoff is going to be worth it! 2. Defoliation – Just a little bit of leaf removal here and there to help with airflow and light penetration, prepping them for that final veg stretch. 3. 36 Hours of Darkness – Closed out the week with a full day and a half of darkness. The 36 hours of darkness is a technique I like to use to help signal to the plants that it’s time to transition from veg to flower. 🌒 By giving them an extended dark period, I’m mimicking the natural shift from summer to fall, when daylight hours start to shorten. This kick-starts the plants’ flowering hormones (phytochrome), helping them shift into flower mode more smoothly and quickly. In my experience, this method helps speed up the flip, reduces early flowering stress, and often leads to a more uniform bloom across the canopy. It’s like giving the plants a little nudge to let them know, “Hey, it’s time to bloom!” 🌸 This technique is especially useful for growers like me who want to maximize the efficiency and performance of their plants. 😊 4. Plants are doing well. the Psychosis is catching up I've taking a video of my room too show the inside a bit better. Noticing some issues with my room set up. The 2" air stones are making too much noise at random points of the day/week. I assume the stones move slightly and cause a rattle noise when the stone is at a certain angle *** ill update this week more today after I have been to the hydroponic shop to pick up a few things Having some issues with the 2"airstones. Due to screeching and rattling. The let the perfect amount of air out for my 19l pots but the noise isn't worth it. Here is and 18" air curtain. Super silent and works great. I bought 30" curtains too.. They let even more air out and form around the pot better 👍

d68 Llevamos todo el mes de abril con lluvias y las plantas no reciben las horas de sol que quieren, por desgracia, la planta de LST ha sacado unos pistilos y para que no continúe con la floración le tendré que hacer una poda apical. El resto de plantas parece estar bien respecto a esto, pero voy a estar observando a Mimosa Evo, puede que le pase lo mismo que a la LSD. d69 Le he hecho la poda apical por la mañana a la LSD. He realizado poda apical a Mimosa Evo. He regado con 8L de agua a estas 4 plantas y 2 más, he utilizado la mezcla de arriba. d71 Parece que crecen bien, todavía estoy dudoso porque LSD parrce que quiere sacar flores, la dejare una semana a ver como progresa, Meganuska necesita agua, esta muy liviana la maceta será la única que se riege hasta la proxima semana. Estan empezando a llegar los insectos, la semana que viene empezare con los preventivos.

The girls have been doing great this week ❤️ lots of fattening and stacking. They are giving off a greasy kerosene smell mixed with sandalwood at the moment and are stinking up my house whenever the tent is open. I have had to run my exhaust fan at level 10 for the past 2 weeks so that the smells aren’t overwhelming when you walk in. Temps have been consistent, and I haven’t had the need for added humidity, it’s been steady around 55-60% I have turned the fans up to ensure good airflow, hopefully we can just ride her out to some fat colas !

A perfect end for a perfect plant. I harvested her after 13 weeks and she looks great! She smells strong and i cant get enough from her smell. She taste like tropical fruits with a little hint of gas.

I've put the #3 on the ground, she's became big in few weeks, and now, almost same size than others. I'm very happy about the canope 🌲🌲, I've just removed some under leaves and micro buds in the shadow. And daily fighting with leaves to kick off them under. 💦 2 Watering this week 1.5l/plant . New Aeroponics "root rain" mist cloner! Holds 2 gallons of water. I added 8 Tsp of CloneX clone/seedling nutrient. PH was 6.0-6.5ish, good enough! These clones inside got zapped pretty hard one day, because I forgot to plug in the water pump one time after playing with it hehehe... Some didn't make it, but most survived! every other plant was watered with just de-chlorinated tap water, for re-hydration. #4 has been selected as the winning pheno! The mother plant had her home upgraded to a 2gal pot. The root ball was not so bound, due to her receiving a root-prune not too long ago, she was re-potted back into a solo cup. I pruned the bottom of the root mass off with a light pinch, and potted her into her new 2gallon home!

Big defoliation this week! Being my first ever grow I was a little worried but I have been reassured it is for the best so can’t wait to see how she turns out! I have also had a ph issue this week for some reason the ph levels in my reservoir kept dropping I have monitored the ph levels daily topping up the reservoir with more water to raise the ph so hopefully things settle down. This girl is looking better and better every day her stickybudz 😏 are coming along really nicely and is starting to produce more of a smell to her now can’t wait to see the final out come! D57 F13 - The week is off to a good start. This lady continues to bush out AND stretch at the same time! I started doing some minimal HST - just to try to keep her going as much "out" as possible, as opposed to "up." D59 F15 - Feeding every other day was just not cutting it anymore, therefore, I started feeding daily this week. There are two other plants in the tent besides this Zkittles, one Sour Diesel and one 707 Headband. So, I'm currently mixing up 12 gal. of nutes in a batch, feeding 6 gal every day - 2 gal/day per plant. Check out the ladies getting fed in the video I included above ;-) Also, I took several pics today; some of those pretty buds getting of to a good start.

This week i will flush the plants, meaning i will only give them tapwater with the right ph and with around 450-500ppm. I have overwatered some of the plants under the LED so i will let them dry almost out before giving them water next time.. I have made alot of mistakes i think in this grow but they seem to be doing okay, i have a goal of atleast 50g from each plant, so we will see if thats realistic. Please comment if you have any advise for me or any feedback, thank you and peace out Day 29 the plants are just doing their thing and im waiting for them to dry out before i will give them water again Day 31 Giving the plants water, they are growing quick now though i have some small problems with some deffereinces caused by overwatering i think, because i started the seeds in so big a container it was hard not to.
