Here we are, this is the first week and I can't wait to see these genetics grow, I've heard a lot of good things about them, award winners with "crazy" THC levels up to 36%. I probably won't reach those levels, but if I can get over 25%, I would already feel like I've achieved the best result of my life! Well, we'll see! To start, I had some issues with the setup and the environmental conditions that weren't right due to various things that happened to me. Plus, I had an invasion of caterpillar worms that damaged 3 leaves of the new girls that just sprouted. I still can't figure out how they got in, maybe while I was doing some work and had the grow box open, I can't explain it. Anyway, for now it seems like I've solved it, now let's see how these beautiful girls will start to develop! Wastent91 Here we are for these girls who seem to be recovering a bit. Unfortunately, I had a problematic situation caused by caterpillar worms, which somehow got into the box and damaged the primary leaves of the newly sprouted and very fragile seedlings. This halved the leaf area exposed to light and thus photosynthesis, so the plant lacked the necessary energy to reach a certain size by the second week of growth, which is usually expected. Hopefully, I can solve the problem by adding an extra week of vegetative growth, something that would have been impossible with an autoflowering strain. So this gives me hope that the girls will recover even better than before!!! At least I hope so! 🍀🍀 A good 420 to everyone! I've already topped them once and removed the lower branches to get as many buds as possible like a bush, but I'm not very experienced with growing so many plants at once and I have no idea how they might develop once I reduce the light hours and send them into flowering. I hope to have at least halved the height of these two girls who are proving to be real beasts; they have truly exceptional growth, thick and turgid leaves, and a lot of internodes. I hope they have a good number of well-distributed buds. Well, we'll see what the future holds for us. For now, the nutrients I'm using are proving to be really effective, but I already knew that given their really outrageous cost. I'm not hoping for a collaboration, but it would be a really nice prospect to collaborate with leaders in the industry! So, see you next week! Wastent91 Hey guys, hope you’re all doing well! As you can see, the girls are really growing strong! I expect a lot from these two spectacular genetics with THC records! I topped them 4 times to have 8 branches that will hopefully turn into a bush with 16 identical buds! This is the ideal model I have in mind, but unfortunately, space is tight, especially the height issue. I want to avoid them getting too tall, to have an even distribution across the whole canopy of the plant and not just on the taller main buds, which often leaves the lower ones underdeveloped. Let’s see, this time I removed all the lower branches, and we’ll see how they recover from all the pruning I did this week. However, I trusted myself to do so many because you can really see from the thickness of the leaves and the stem that doubles in volume at every internode that this plant has a good root system that supports and compensates for the stress I’m putting on this poor plant... I’ve given the nutrients according to the manufacturer’s chart, and I must say I’m really doing well so far, no deficiencies, and a total thickness of the foliage volume. The multitude of internodes and branches that have formed gives me hope for some truly spectacular weed! Thanks to all of you who follow me, I adore Grow Diaries! I’ve decided to give another week of vegetative growth, maybe even two, because I want to give the plant time to develop the strongest and most developed branches and leaves possible to have a good structure, from which to start to have nice proportionate buds. It will be very difficult to keep so many genetically different plants organized, because I already know that each one will grow differently from the others, and I’ll have to pay attention to the nutritional needs of each plant. It will have a slightly modified regime, and I’ll see how they behave, even though I’ll try to fertilize as uniformly as possible and the same for all. We’ll see, I have high expectations especially from these two THC record genetics! I hope everything goes well. As you can see, the girls have entered their first week of flowering, and I've already noticed the first female pre-flowers, so it seems like everything is going in the right direction. The plants are bursting with vigor, a nice intense green, and so far no signs of deficiency. I've given them CO2 tablets; let's see how they turn out, but for now, I really have high expectations! I'm worried that I've let the plants grow too tall during the vegetative stage, so I really hope with all my heart that it doesn't become a serious problem, or I'll be forced to crop all the tops, and I really don't want to mistreat the poor cannabis plants. While I was doing it, I started to smell the really unique scent of epic Buzz, I've never smelled anything stranger in my life! The other girl, the Red Banana, has a very strong citrusy smell, strange, particular chemical that is really attracting me! I can't wait to taste the flowers from these girls, but it will take all my love to bring them out in all their beauty! So as you can see, the high THC content genetics are growing quite well, there's good development of a large number of flowers, and the density of the individual buds is also increasing. I hope I haven't overdone it with the nutrients because the others seem to be growing with more vigor. Well, we'll see how it goes. For now, I don't see any deficiencies and the resin is abundant. I would have expected a greater volume growth of the buds by now, but maybe it's just the genetics that will express themselves better in the coming weeks? We'll see! I had to tie all the branches with wire to support the growing weight of the tops. Unfortunately, you can see that at the beginning of the cycle I didn't have fans, etc., to train the branches to become stronger and more stable. Now, the weight and volume of these tops are bending the whole plant! Truly exceptional genetics! With really complex scents that are hard to describe, and I can't wait for them to continue maturing to finally have a "perfect final weed"! Wastent91 Everything is great here! Abundant resin and the epic buxx is turning into a monster! I can’t keep up with the nutrients, it requires an enormous amount compared to the others. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to express itself at its best this cycle; in my opinion, with more fertigation, it would have really had some insane levels of THC and resin! Meanwhile, the sister Red banana pudding is showing some truly fantastic colors, and the buds are rock hard. I’d say it’s really turning out to be the most potent weed I’ve ever produced and smoked in my life! Unfortunately, I've had some family issues and had to delay the weeks, so I think I need to add at least another week to the count since the last time. Seriously, especially the epic Buzz, I had to put in two supports for the huge buds that are forming, and even with that, I can't manage them properly because they are too dense and heavy. The only thing was that the branch structure was a bit flimsy compared to the enormous weight of the buds they reached during flowering, huge amounts of resin, but especially on the terpene level, it’s really something exceptional that I haven’t smoked in a long time, and maybe I’ve never smoked in my life! I thank all of you who follow me closely; it’s all thanks to you that I can now grow the best medical weed in the world in my humble home, without having to go to places where my medicine is supplied by organized crime. Wastent91 So, as you could see with your own eyes, this girl has had a lot of problems from the start, she experienced heat stress, stress from unstable conditions like I would have liked for humidity/temperature, but overall she turned out to be some ganja, a really interesting self-medicating product, to experiment with next time with better care! Unfortunately, I wasn't used to managing so many plants in such a small space, next cycle I'll send them into flowering a week earlier, otherwise I'll end up with some monsters that are quite difficult to manage in a box like mine, but I have to say I was really surprised by the results I was able to achieve, thanks to my boundless passion for this wonderful magic plant, and also thanks to you who follow me!
