So close. I'd say another week maybe 2 and then we harvest. Im going to start checking trichomes tonight. They smell absolutely lovely. My entire house smells if I open that tent for a second. They each have their own distinct aroma and the resin is definitely there. I started feeding unsulphered blackstrap molasses with every watering. Just 1 tablespoon per gallon. New experiment. If anyone has any experience with molasses feel free to drop a comment and we can chat about it. Im interested in trying new things to make the final product better. It's always a learning process in everything we do. Thats the fun of it at least for me anyway. Thanks for checking in!

The past week I've been trying to identify problems with my climate and feeding. Three out of two plants (so also one of the XL Runtz) stay behind with exactly the same problems. I've been ventilating more to get cooler air into the tent. This seems to resolve some of the issues but has cost some development. Reason enough to call off the battle. The playing field was influenced by me as I'm still getting to know 'the rules of engagement' with growing autos indoors. They are way more sensitive to influences than my usual regulars. So I'm using all this info to tune my tent, for climate, and the soil for nutrients. So the next run will be more stable. Still, these strains completely amaze me with how fast they put out these buds. It is almost alien in 6 short weeks up to now. Considering my options for summer. Dealing with temps in a hot attic, or start growing some plants indoors and transfer to outdoor when it gets too hot. The jury is still out on this but the invasion of Ukraine could play a role in this as my government keeps pumping Russian oil and gas for our energy needs and Sunshine and me stand solid in our support for a free Ukraine. Solid week of growth and development. Temperature, humidity were solid and dialed all week. Both plants were defoliated and trained towards the beginning of the week. They bounced back quickly and started to pack on weight which led me to look into trellis. I don’t like that you can’t move the plants once the trellis is set and that it’s stupid pieces of plastic. We’ll see how many times I can re-use the trellis before it’s trashed 🙄. That said, I can already see the benefits. It really helped me even out the canopy and lower a few stubborn colas as well as open the lower levels to more light. Nice. I’ll be investing in some biodegradable trellis in the future if I like the results. I started using Fish Shit! between feedings to condition the soil. So far, so good. As for the clones, I used hardware store rooting hormone instead of a high quality gel or powder rooting hormone. You get what you pay for . . . I also think I’ve kept my growing medium too moist. I’ve had one clone root and transferred. I’ve been trying to dry the medium out a touch. Hopefully I get at least two more rooted within the next few days. This upcoming week I’ll continue the nutrient regiment and begin the pk boost for weeks 4, 5, and 6.

3/20/2023 - Day 22 Flower: So far the plants look like they handled the big defoliation just fine. Nice and healthy and they are all preying. Seeing the first signs of some tricomes. 3/22/2023 - Day 24 Flower: watered 4 gallons of water at at a 6.6 ph mixed with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja as a wetting agent, Rootwise Enzyme Elixer, and Bio-Phos, BuildASoil Big 6, BuildABloom, Coconut Powder, Pure Protein Dry, Fermented Comfrey and Fermented Peach. Not much to report. Plan to keep the plants on 12/12 for one more week, then drop to 11 hours on and 13 hours off for the final weeks of flower. 3/26/2023: watered 4 gallons mixed with ThermX-70, BuildABloom, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, coconut powder, and Yah-Whey Thrive. Went lighter on the nutrients today. Figured I've gone heavy enough for a while, so a lighter feeding couldn't hurt. Overall, the frost is coming on and the flowers are starting to add some weight. Other than the leaf curl issue from a couple weeks ago, everything else continues to go smoothly.

Not sure if I missed a week on the diary. They are looking great apart from a little bit of yellowing on the lower part of the plants, pretty sure it's N deficiency. I was also slightly over doing the CalMag so that's been cut out this week. Bloom nutes are now full strength as well. Got the start of some nice buds coming on now & I'm. Hoping they'll add a fair bit of weight in the last 4 weeks, pretty sure this will be my most successful auto grow so far.

These girls are exploding! Flower came so fast, they are all showing need for more phosphorus and potassium, while at the same time showing nutrient burn at the tips, Jebus, save me! Lol . Overall, no complaints. A few more weeks to go!

Day 92 1000 tap added 6.3 700 Tomorrow will be three weeks since res change. Day 93 1000 tap ph5.46.1 ppm710 Another tiny nanner plucked from another bud. Day 94 Three weeks since res change. She drinks about a liter a day. Looks cooked tbh. First I've read that if/when sugar leaves' tips start burning it's better to harvest, second I checked the trichomes: lowest buds are quiet transparent, but there are amber heads on the top colas already as well. So I guess I should prepare for harvest. I don't know if I should flush. Day 95 Welp after reading a few articles and being bored I decided to change her res one last time to just cold tap. I'm not even gonna ph it, hope I'm not gonna regret it. Update: PH rose like crazy and I had to add some PH minus :) Sugar tips are badly burnt. Day 96 And I sent her to chop town.

#43 clones are maturing too fast I feel. Especially that a mother is ripening normally. I would guess it’s because of poor rooting. It’s the only difference. I keep runoff at around 3 max. Around week 5 the runoff ph started to drop below 6. Even towards 5.5. Both in rockwool and coco.
