Start of week 8! 2 more weeks according to the breeder, but if i had to guess I would say 10 or 11 weeks. I absolutely love the way this strain smells, like gym socks but in a good way.

This week, we feed mycorrhizal fungi to the plants and it gets the excellent results. The plants grow extraodinarily.

The girls are starting to get fat and enter the ripening stage. Purples are strong. I got purple trichomes!! We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. We switched nutes and reservoir funk is gone. This weeks accomplishments: Switch from GH to Jacks RO Install separate reservoirs for black cherry gelato and purple push pops Clean all autopots and reservoir lines. Install separate lines for black cherry gelato This weeks issues: Spider mites. Found them in the outside grow and found a few leaves with them inside. Big time nightmare. Primarily on the gelatos inside. Doing manual scouting and removal every day. Long term issues It’s hot. High 80s low 90s all week. So the same - Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing the spread of mites and mold issues during high humidity conditions Managing girlfriend expectations through harvest. Not very dense buds but stickier than hell with a great smell. Pretty much all that Mephisto says it is in their description.

Seventh week of flowering: I opted not to put a net to facilitate access to the room. As expected, the buds are starting to be too heavy. I hang them one by one, on hooks high up. The buds swell and still smell ! I increase the EC to 2.60 Good hydration, no dead leaves to remove. See you next week !

Day 42 Shes massive... if she stretches much in flower... then I'm in for some problems 😂😂 By next week she will probably be done vertically growing. You would never say she had issues to start off with.

RSQ Wedding Cake has just start producing hairs but still not in flower yet. FB Cherry Cola has already started producing some Icy . SS Bruce Banner has an issue going on, I've got mixed reviews on what it could be. Added about 8ml of Athena IPM to the water for that one. Hopefully she snaps back and grows strong

Fun fact : my TDS meter broke down. I was running an EC of 4.3, needless to say the plant went into super lockout. I lost a lot of leaves and am trying to get it on the right path again. I had enough foliage to survive it fortunately trichomes are still quite empty, most likely it will need another 2 weeks to mature UPDATE: Day 67 the plant seems to have finally stabilized again, EC and PH stopped swinging around like crazy

It is never to late for a better house. I got a brand new #MarsHydroGrowTend 1m square and an Inline Duct Fan and Filter, so I decide to move everyone inside, even though the girls have only few days to go. I will be monitoring them close, just to check how they will react to the new environment. Day 56 - The plants are developing nice buds even thought the plant 1 still not recovering from whatever she has. I did water them with 1mL of Bio Grow/Boom/Top-Max, Let's see if it makes any difference in the next few days

Miracle Berry Remix #1 and Mango Smile are throwing preflowers and stretching every day. I removed the scrog tent for now to get a little more vertical action going. I probably defoliate too much but I'm obsessed with getting light to bud sites...so I dunno. UPDATE: I clearly didn't. They responded very well over the rest of the week. They really took off. Strawberry Nuggets has some nutrient burn on the new growth. Looks fine though since it hasn't progressed. The SN canopy is going to be really nice. I moved the Bodhi's to a new tent. I super crop pretty frequently as well....I also did some serious LST to the CDLC since her node spacing is so tight. Light wasn't getting anywhere.

Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). She has developed very well this week. I will give you 7-10 days before I switch to flowering. This week it was poured 3 times with 1 l each (nutrients see table above) Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked. This is the 2nd MSNL strain I have tried and the genetics are great. She got the longest time in the tent as she is a standard photoperiod and the rest of the grow where fast flowering photoperiods. I trimmed her after 16 days of drying and got 35g of decent buds and 9g of ok buds. Power used for whole grow in 114 days. Lights=201.7Kw (201.7×0.25)(=£50.42) Rad=212.23kw (212.23×0.25)(=£53.05) 201.7÷114=1.769kw per day light average. Average 100w for veg Average 150w for flower. Light average for grow 125w. Hello everyone, here we are also the sense is blooming, being a dominant Sativa it had a notable starching in these three weeks of pre flowering, the plant is 130 Cm tall, very considering the pot and all the training I applied to it, the plant has developed many seccondary branches and many internodes, I expect dense, robust buds, the plant has large and airy fan leaves, a long trunk with a bump on top, it also begins to smell a little, the climate was not mild, very intense heat 35 degrees celsius, a bit of trust but I hope that the wasps that roam around here take care of it, overall very nice tall emerald green plant. 😈

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way.
