Hey Guys! Super excited this week! I've really been wanting to try growing outdoors, so I built a cheap hoop house! Got most of this stuff for the frame from Lowes under 300$. All the soil products I got from GrowGreenMI. Some really cool people out there. One thing I'm super worried about is drainage. Right now those holes are about 4 feet deep and they've got about 4 inches of water in them already. What's been cautioned is that, eventually, about 2 months in these plants roots will grow and reach the bottom and cause root rot to form. One of the biggest things I was trying to be wary of was causing root rot. This was also the biggest precautionary measure I took when mixing the soil. Adding the extra perlite, coco, and clay pebbles. Best advice right now is to build the soil up on the holes another 16 to 18 inches and possible stick a PVC pipe down to the lowest drainage point of the hole to allow some of that natural occurring water to evaporate. Any advice anyone has on it is welcomed! Making a compost tea for the soil outdoors, will probably put 2 cups in each RDWC bucket as well and let that do it's magic for a day or so before nutrient change. Raised the bed about 14 inches as well! All the seeds sank! Off to a good start! Lol

A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! Day 34. I know its few days of previous week, just didnt wanted to mess with week type. Its BIG week . New light was added and rhythm changed to 12/12. Pot was top uped with 3 handfulls of BioBizz Worm Castings. 1.5 g of Biosys and 1.5 g of Great White were added too. After training she got 2.2l of water, medium drinker at the momennt. Girl got small defoliation, when you bent main top, one fan leaf is always staying in everyone's way, so he had to go. Think to do big clearing on day 14-18 of flower. Got first wave of LST, main top was lowered, one side shoot was repositioned and secured too... Girl is nice, more compact than other AMS strain i am running now, but i dont stress, its more experiment too. Think they miss good air, shoots a bit lanky to my like, will need support, so maybe i will scrog all.... TS1000 by Mars Hydro, great light, did perfect job during veg period, now i added one more for better coverage of long tent. Think in tent 1x1m i could manage to flower all 3 without any ad ons .... Great small light for amazing price. Day 36. 3 liters of higher ph 6.5 , run off was 495 ppm, 6.3 ph, so all is good !!! Day 40. Girl got heavy training, 5-10 leaves were taken down, most shoots secured with wires. 2.5 liters of 6.3 water went in. Happy Growing !!!

Day 63: This week has seen the bud stacks building up nicely. They look a far way off a finish still in general but that's ok by me for their overall yield potential. All 3 have been doing good and I dont doubt without any training, would have been impossible to fit in the room without a drop in plant count. They are putting out a beautiful aroma now and it seems I have another very fruity smelling beauty strain to harvest. #1 Has kept her growth consistent throughout and been the best producer until now She has a lot of bud sotes to get busy stacking on so hopefully a few weeks will see her balloon. #2 Has become the behemoth of the grow now with her pushing her way through foliage like a British Missionary. She needs some space now and will be very happy to get it following the 1st harvest of blackberry. #3 Has done well to keep her development active among the thicket she was in. Trimming out the undersides of these ladies has given great airflow so I dont have to worry too much about mould and too much Rh. She will also get more space soon. Feeds are going well and they Love the MC/shogun combo it seems. Let's hope we have a great harvest to show how amazing these Fast Buds strains are.

Plants seemed close to finish so i defoliated on day 52. The plants went through shock. I will not be doing this again Attempting Generative steering, i dropped humidity and allow the pots to dry out more. Watering every 2 days by hand

Hoy se me callo el foco lec encima de esta dañando 2 ramas. No fue mucho pero si que lo notara y espero que el lec esté nuevo . Demasiado bien iba este cultivo jj

Una ves sean transplantadas a su macetero definitivo(5 litros) se comenzará con riego automático, drip to waste, y protocolo Crop Steering. 20 Octubre(15:30): 9 semillas en remojo, solución de 2 partes de agua de ósmosis + 1 parte de peróxido de hidrógeno 3%, 5.8pH, 0.6EC, 28°C~30°C. Antes ser puestas a remojar se lijaron las semillas para favorecer la absorción del agua. 21:30: puestas en toalla de papel con la misma agua de remojo, dentro de un contenedor de vidrio hermético y sobre una alfombra de calor a 28°C~30°C, para aumentar la actividad metabólica. 21 Octubre: Pre carga del coco, con solución de nutrientes Athena en 2.0EC y 5.7pH, saturación hasta lograr drenaje, el drenaje fue de 1.5EC y 5.6pH. 21:50: Todas las semillas presentan radicula de distintos tamaños(1cm aprox) son inmediatamente pasadas al sustrato. 22 Octubre: 21:10, se aprecian todas ya brotando, se mantiene el ambiente en 26°C~28°C y 70%+ de humedad. 23 Octubre: 9/9 semillas brotadas, se ven algunos Cotiledones. 24 Octubre: (9:30)8/9 cotiledones abiertos, altura entre 3cm~5cm, etapa de plantula iniciada. Toffee n3 se atrofió por mala manipulación, espero que crezca aunque sea lento, si no, tendré que seguir solo con 8 plantas. 25 Octubre: Toffee n3 está viva!!! Estuve a punto de quitarla, y está mañana apareció sin su capucha, cotiledones afuera. Yujuuuu!! 26 Octubre: hoy tuvieron su primer riego con nutrientes Athena, 2.0EC y 5.8pH. Se regó hasta alcanzar drenaje, el drenaje fue de 1.9EC y 5.7pH. 27 Octubre: Se desarrollan a buen ritmo, algunas han estirado más que otras, alturas entre 4cm~7cm. 31 Octubre: Segundo riego, 120ml casa una, 2.0EC y 5.8pH, runoff de 2.3EC y 5.7pH. 2 Noviembre: Creciendo a buen ritmo, alturas entre 5cm y 9cm. 4 Noviembre: Riego 180ml cada una, 2.0EC y 5.8pH, runoff 2.8EC y 5.8pH, desde ahora se regarán más seguido, removí las primeras hojas, solo por comodidad para regar, de igual manera los primeros nodos y esas hojas se terminan podando pronto. 8 Noviembre: Riego 2.0EC, 5.8pH, 240ml cada una para aumentar el runoff, valores de runoff de 3.0EC y 6.0pH. Alturas entre 9cm y 14cm.

It's getting very cold over here...temp peaks at 11°C at night..but that's only air temperature...i have a heating mat that keeps substrate at 20° all day Only 1 week to go

Hey guys! New week, here we are! As always, every Sunday is cleaning day. Took everything again from the tent, washed the saucers. Was also time to cut down some leaves as it was starting to look very bushy and hard for the light to get through it. During that time, came across with some bugs under the foliage, which isn't a great sign for sure. Not to mention the fruit flies that moved in and are making my life a little chaos. On top of that it seems that this little one is getting some deficiencies. Gonna ask for help in the right section to clear it out Reducing now the RH a bit, and watering now on every 72h instead of 48h to keep the grow as dry as possible. Increasing the ventilator speed was another attempt, it so much air circulating should be hard for them to make a living inside. Just put now more of those fly traps and will add a couple glasses of cider vinegar here and there, as it attracts most of the flying things with success. Note that some plants are yellowing and that's never a good sign. Though for few weeks it was Nitrogen deficiency, but after increasing it and the CalMag values, the problem persists, so I'm inclined for something bug related. Besides that, temps are still very stable, RH was changed, now to 40% tops, and the light went a little lower to get it closer to the plants - always with the light burn effect in mind. 40cm is the line between the tops and the lamp. Flowering is looking good, buds are forming well and seems that's gonna be a good ending if I can keep the bugs under control. Oh, I forgot. She has a weird smell, like a rotten mango. Not sure if that's the skunk in it coming up, or if I should actually dig and look for root rot. I don't believe in the latter one as my feedings are never abundant/excessive, use fabric pots, have great ventilation. But, the fact I don't believe in it doesn't mean I'm right. Probably I'm wrong. First signs of trichomes are here, you can see it with the naked eye. That's all folks, have a great week

Repoted them into 5 litre pots from pot noodle cups , pulling top fan leaves still . The side branches are catching up slowly.

THE BIG UPDATE GANG!!!!!!! ✨✨✨😎👌🌱🥦🌳 So starting the 5th week of veg, the girls are looking really really great, im already moving alot of the smaller babies out of there which i was growing to help out mama dukes for her garden, gotta help where we can, so anyways now i have more room, im going to be going to DC for 6 or 7 days but i have the scheduling set, will be minimal updates as im away but ill try to keep posting and yea hope all is well with everyone, again as always any and all advice is always greatly appreciated, FYI: i did start some LST on the plants but i decided to wait a bit longer and use garden wire instead of steel wire, again all advice is appreciated thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!
