Week 8 begins! Strawberry Banana is doing great, nice buds super frosty, sticky, heavy and dense. I continue to be impressed by this light and how this plant has grown under it.

This week i put on the trellis net.

I think that during the next week she will start flowering 😁 i placed sulfur for any possible bugs (trips for example) 8th of August we put guanokalong nutrients on the soil which was a gift from a local grow shop, lets try and see how it works! 9th August water 10th August, again took the plant to my balcony, there was a loooot of wind and heat again, i also had another plant on my roof which died due to the heavy wind 😔 11th August water 12th August nothing 13th of august, today the plant is 21 days old, it should be starting to flower already! 14th of August nothing

Bonsoir à tous Je suis trop content de mes fifilles elles poussent vraiment bien elles grandissent tout les jours, je les mesure tout les 2 où 3 jours. Elles grandissent de 2cm environ par jour je les trouve magnifique mes fifilles. J'ai deux de mes mutantes qui me font quatre branches principales( on n'y voit sur les photos) je suis refait 😊😊😊 je pense qu'elles vont bien donner. Je vous dit bonne soirée à tous les amis 👍👍👍

I harvested a week earlier , because I spotted some minor bud rot in lower branches. I don't know why, bud I could not see any sign of bud rot in the bigger buds. I just found them , because I found some twisted sugar leaves, which is in most causes a bullet proof sign. The plant overall seemed to be in a pretty good condition, with minor nitrogen deficiency and some potassium/phosphorus. The last to, I should have added a small amount more, to make the buds a bit more dense, but the current state is ok. Although , it was a complete outdoor grow, pushing bud density would probably have gotten to a more a more bud rot state. This plant is really easy to grow, she almost runs for itself and does need little to no care. I chose a big pot , 25 liters , added 12 liter of light Mix and filled the rest with Coco and perlite. After that, I barely added nutrients and just waited for signs of deficiency, which barely occurred. Aroma: The aroma ist very sweet and some kind of fruity, but not generic , it is outstanding in its own kind of way. You're definitely missing lemon scents, but I think it's more of orange . There are no signs of earthy , peppery or stinky smells. Just pure sweet fruit. Unfortunately it means, I can not smell " cookies". But I thing this also happens to a lot of " cookie" strains and is often exaggerated, if claimed. I hung her up in my whine fridge , 16°C and 60% rlf for the first few days. After that, I turned rlf down to about 52%. She smells exactly like she did outdoors. Her smell does not hit you in the face. But if you smell it, it is really pleasant and calming. The smoking test be added , after I tested it for a few days. Overall in growing this variety, I rate this strain 8/10. I would would give this strain more stars, if I could really smell cherry and cookies. Unfortunately, the cherry smell combines more with the overall fruity smell, which makes it hard to isolate it. I can definitely recommend this strain to beginners, if they seek a user friendly hybrid with a guaranteed nice (bag)-appeal and reliable sweet, but not kushy aroma. A pro grower will definitely hit bigger scales, if grown indoors and preferably in Coco / hydro. I hope you enjoyed my conclusion and take it consideration, when you plan to buy some beans. Week 2 begins, not much to report other than the pro-mix HP hasn't dried out enough to warrant another feeding.

Ahhrrrrrggggghhhh PH imbalances! Don't panic. We got this. After a few theories and a bunch of research what I originally thought was light stress then a Cal Mag deficiency. Then I saw leaf damage and thought of Thrips. Wrong wrong and wronger. Turns out the soil PH is all out if wack. By which I mean waaaaaay too high. Like almost 8. That's what I get for not thinking PH was nOT tHaT BiG a dEaL. Now equipped with my PH and TDS meters and a little PH up and PH Down from Standard Hydroponics we can get thing back into balance. Lots of leaf growth this week. Looks like flowering is right around the corner. This will probably be the last week I'll feed her Grow Girls Grow from DSN and switch to Bloom Baby Bloom next week. I've also done some defoliation this week to get light to some of the bud sites. Again I had no idea LST was this powerful, she's gonna have such pretty flowers Looking forward to Bloom 🌹🚀🌻😎

Start of Week 7! Day 44 - 12/12 Big difference in the two Cali Snow plants! The centre "Plant 1" is well along in the flowering process with obvious bud sites forming along the small amount of LST I've been able to get going. Got a bit more stretch out of it but it looks like she's settling down but the sativa flowering of this strain is noticeably behind the indica LSD-25 planted same day in my other diary. The other girl "Plant 2" that is far left and was cooked under the dome early in the grow seems to still be in a pre-flower phase and I'm actually getting a lot of decent stretch/growth in the secondary sites. I'll keep an eye on it for the next week to see if I have to set it off myself with a 12/12 cycle but there are a few pistils here and there. Hopefully it's just a little set back in its timing because it's going to turn out to be the biggest of all 3 plants I have going now. Will have the best veg base for flowering for sure. Hopefully I won't have to set it to 12/12 and rob the other two plants I have further along in flower of a few hours of light a day. Gave another feed with upped nutes but still playing it on the low side. Going up a little each feeding and no signs of burn on any of the girls yet. Making sure I'm chasing feeds with plain water and spraying the top layer with plain water here and there to keep any build up at bay; Since the girls aren't big enough for full pot runoff feeds due to small size. Day 48 - 12/16 You can see how different the timing on the two Cali Snow are. I'm loving the extra time with Plant 2 to set up bigger secondary branches and the pistils still seem to be SLOWLY forming near the top and mature sites. In an attempt to avoid switching her to 12/12 to fully trigger the flower, I've let the temperature drop down a bit to the high teens with the light on by lettering in the winter air and keeping the tent open with lights on. Hopefully the lower temp here and there over the next couple days will get it moving. Plant 1 is well along in it's flower. The bud sites are well defined and the stretch seems to be wrapping up bringing it in just a bit bigger than my small LSD-25 in my other diary going right now. Pulled it out and reset some new LST on the plant with a less drastic lean. Clipped a few fan leaves and 3 fingers from the two Cali's, anything blocking light or bunching up too much but tried to leave as much as possible for energy production. The classic Cali Snow smell I was warned about is starting to come in. Even P2 with little to no flowers is throwing off a nice scent. Still tent contained without exhaust for now so no worries on that front. Day 50 - 12/18 Gave them their biggest feeding today in both nutes and volume. Both split a mix of 1ml each PH Perfect MGB with 1tsp Molasses in a gallon of water with a half gallon plain water chase. First time the plants have been big/thirsty enough for a run-off feeding. Will spray top layer in a day to clean top layer of any residue then top with D-Earth sprinkle to let sit until next feed. These girls have gone from identical to fraternal twins. P2 on the left is looking more like the plant I wanted in terms of size and spread. The set back in flowering time has really allowed me to train it up and get lower branches up to a pseudo-canopy. It looks like it's FINALLY about to make the final switch as the still bright pre-flower tops are starting to shoot more pistils and new leaf growth has that telltale upward point as the spread comes to an end. P1 is full flower swing is chugging along nicely as I opened her up main stem up with some selective defoliation and the thin sativa bud structure is slowly but surely coming in. As a new grower, seeing the fatten/faster Indica flower of my LSD-25 right next to the Sativa on the same schedule is a great observational experience. 👽 The smell of the two Cali Snows are finally starting to ripen up. Almost at the finish line with these beautiful girls!!! Smells like someone is shoving an orange up my nose whenever I open the tent. Adding a new light to the grow for the next run so stay tuned!!!

This drought is wild, 300mm rain deficit around the island. Hot, dry, no clouds or rain in sight for the next month. While this is awful for everything else, this gal is living life to the fullest. Irrigation up to 3hr of drip every 5 days and that is it for this week. Still amazed by the water retention with this Hugel. Whats everyones thoughts on defoliation outdoors? I've kept it fairly light this year, loving the shape, and while canopy looks bushy from front, it's quite clean inside. My topping from 2 weeks ago is barely noticeable, this stretch coming into flowering will easily get her past 9 feet. The combined fimming and topping has really helped this shape. Rain at the end of the season is always a problem, smaller buds is more desirable to me. Nearly always use my herb to make FECO for Gummies, so small is better. I've ran a major support pole through the middle, and I end up using string to internally support all the branches to the center post. Gives me much better control over shape and support. I don't have a ton of room for a trellis so this is easier.

I used my Max-see magnifier to take some close up pictures of Miss Mango Kushes trichomes. She is getting closer and closer to a harvest. It rained a little this week so I only fed her a couple of times. I am currently feeding her @AdvanceNutrients Jungle Juice. I have not had to defoliate this grow. I just didn't need to open up any space for sunlight, so I left them all in contact. I also had a snail that decided Miss Mango was a good home for her. I have no idea where that came from unless a bird dropped it. All in all, it was a good week. Miss Mango Kush is concentrating on her bud growth. As always, Let's chat it up! See ya next week.

Auto Moon Rock is closing in on finishing bulking. She has a sweet almost fruity kinda smell. She has a nice layer of frost. I will be switching her to ph water in a few days to prep her for Harvest. I may have to try this perlite grow again in the future. She really struggled when she was small. Regardless, I think the grow was neat and unique. I will get a nice little yield from her when done. She should be pretty potent.
