This thing has a great smell to it I can’t explain the smell best I can say is candy but like it’s a candy in a wrapper smell if you get me already sticky

Day 64, 12.06.2024 Today marks the start of week 10. I just saw that some of the leafs of Erika I are clawing upwards. I double checked the light distance to the canope which seems to be fine at around 30cm. I watered yesterday. As over watering might be the culprit as well I will watch closely wether it gets better during the next 24h. However, as we are approaching the finishing line I will not put too much effort in this issue. Day 65, 13.06.2024 Another round of drinks is about to be served. As Erika I is tacoing (edges of the leafs are facing towards the light) I went into analysis: It could be a) lights: after checking the distance again I an rule that out. Also the other plant does not show any clawing symptoms. b) underwatering: I gave 500ml extra water yesterday in the morning in hopes of recovery by afternoon. But no sign of relaxation so I ruled out that as well. c) overwatering: hard to believe as I only water 15% of the pot volume every other day and there is no drain d) over fertilization: Thats a point - I gave both plants the exact same amount of nutrition during grow. I think this plant might have had enough for a while. Because of d) I decided to not give Erika I any fertilizers today (she also did not show signs of low nutrition in the past). However, I will water both and keep an eye on them. No reason for panic though I guess. Also: Being on the final lap towards harvest I recognized quite a lot of the pistils are getting orange. I would say currently over all buds around 50-60% of the pistils are orange. I will wait until ~90% of them are orange and then take a look at the trichomes, where I aim for 80/20 ratio (cloudy to amber). Day 66, 14.06.2024 No action today. Day 67, 15.06.2024 Today I will water and feed again - providing 4/4/4 Grow/Bloom/TopMax + 1,2ml CalMag to Erika II. For Erika I I am still waiting for the leafs to un-taco - but until now there is no sign of it. This is the last official week with nutrients anyway so maybe Erika I already had her last meal, but without realizing 😂 Tacoing did not went away. Didn't really change at all actually. So they both get water & nutes. Next time I might skip nutes on Erika I. Amount of water: ~600ml each Day 68, 16.06.2024 No action on the plants today. Revised my timing and plans: - BioBizz nutrient schedule is made for roughly 10 weeks of flowering with flushing instructions on the second to last week and harvest on the last week - assuming the Erikas started flowering in their 3rd week that leaves me with facing the 8th flowering week up (which is also the last week they should get nutrition) right ahead - Decision: will give them 3 times nutrients over the next 1 week. Then I will stop giving them nutrients and start flushing every other day (water then until water comes out below the pots). - I assume/hope I will flush for at least one week until it is time for harvest This period of the grow is unexpectedly exciting! I do not have any experience from other grows but until now I think it went quite good. There were no pests, no big time nutrient deficiencies, etc. and the buds look big and firm (at least from what I can tell anyway). Day 69, 17.06.2024 - A round of drinks to the ladies: The usual 4/4/4 Grow/Bloom/TopMax in 600ml of water each. Will NOT skip nutes on Erika I. - Humidity is starting to pose a problem again: During night time the humidity does not go below 68% for 6 hours. I surely hope this is not a problem - but I do not have any other choice: there is high humidity currently outside (lots of rain & warm weather). I will hope for the best I guess. - removed 3 more leafs Day 70, 18.06.2024 No action today but to experience high humidity (~69%) without being able to do something about that 😢 This concludes week 10. The breeder states this strain is ready for harvest after 11 weeks. Well.. I guess I am about to find out.

Woche 4 / Vegi Woche 3 Der Grow: Am Anfang der Woche wurde das erste Mal getoppt. Ziel des toppen war es, 6 neue Haupttriebe zu haben. Da die Triebe der ersten Nodien viel kleiner waren, als die der zweiten, habe ich solange gewartet, bis die Triebe der vierten Nodien, so große Blätter hatten, dass sie nachdem toppen, gleich mit Photosynthese beginnen können. Dann wurde über den vierten Nodien getoppt und die Triebe, samt Blätter, der ersten Nodien entfernt. Die Pflanze hat das toppen gut verkraftet. Ich mache von jeder Woche Zeitrafferaufnahmen und man konnte sehen, dass alle Triebe gleich nach dem toppen weitergewachsen sind. Den Rest der Woche, habe ich die Pflanze, einfach wachsen lassen. Die Triebe haben sich gut entwickelt und die Pflanze ist wie erwartet kompakt geblieben und extrem buschig geworden. Vermutlich werde ich in der nächsten Woche, die 6 Haupttriebe erneut toppen, um auf 12 Haupttriebe zukommen. Dazu aber im nächsten Update mehr. Im letzten Update hatte ich geschrieben, dass ich die Bodenfeuchtigkeit, versuche bei 55% zuhalten. Dies scheint jedoch zu viel zu sein. Nachdem ich die 55% einige Zeit gehalten habe, wurde der Topf, in der Drainageschicht, sehr nass. Ich hatte zwar noch keinen Drain, aber das der Topf in dem Bereich sehr nass war, hat mir gezeigt das sich dort Wasser sammelt. Aber eigentlich sollte der Bereich trocken sein. Deshalb habe ich die Bodenfeuchtigkeit langsam gesenkt und peile jetzt die 50% an. Man konnte auch sehen, dass sich die Blätter im Verlauf des Tages nicht mehr komplett aufgestellt haben. Sondern ehr leicht nach unten hingen. Was für eine beginnende Überwässerung spricht. Mittlerweile ist der Bereich der Drainageschicht, wieder komplett trocken. Den VPD habe ich im laufe der Woche langsam erhöht, bis auf 1,4kpa am Ende der Woche am Tag und auf 1kpa in der Nacht. Diese Werte werde ich jetzt so weiter fahren, bis zur Umstellung auf die Blüte. Der DLI wurde am Anfang der Woche auf 30 erhöht. Wao.... weather is shit but she grew a lot. Not flowering yet it was because of the rainy days. It is just wind and rain now. Very bad.... Well, she is okay 💪

Good week overall, started with a defoliation and lst for Sugar Mama, she was too unruly and here we are by the end of the week she is full of leaves again. I am going to let her grow as is and save her from more defolation she is not getting taller, yet. All the other girls are doing well, nothing much to report apart from that I found out what is going on with those nutrients and the general unhealth of plants (spots on some, really bright on others, clawed tip, ...) but none seemed too serious. I discovered that because I am towards the end of my nutrients that they were too think and were not actually mixing well into the water explaining why the EC wasn't getting as high as I expected when adding biogrow. Made sure the nutrients are properly mixed (put them in then blast with water to mix well) and water them today with a good mixed meal, expecting them to have better colours soon. The fastberry is looking prettier every day, the deformity that was at the beginning is barely visible now. Good week overall, although I've been focusing on my outdoor plants (one harvested another moved indoor permanently).
