The beginning of the flowering stage with some LST..🌱 #CultivationsTheMotivation

Auto cous kush is just coming onto it's own, making plant matter and working overtime in that slightly cold medium. I added aloe as a rooting agent, tried to ph it down to 6.5 using lemon juice (not doing that again lol?) and ended up catching the start of pH shenanigans so i started applying an amino acid spray onto the soil (not the plant!) . using my kelp extract concentrate at 1ml a L in my 250ml spray which means a 1/4ml , that gets sprayed once onto the plant. gonna top off the pots next watering. in soil ppm went from 360 to 420 , vpd went from 0.8 to 1.1.

this session is (already!) coming to an end 👌 as the buds were so advanced at the end of last week, I lowered the coconut feel and gave a little boost to the Super Boom. Everything is looking good so far. They’re all done stretching and the cheese and black garlic have stretched the most. I adjusted each plant with boxes to create a more even canopy. Buds are swelling up nicely. The two black berry breath plants are looking swollen and fantastic. I don’t like the structure and bud size of the black garlic plants and will not be running them again. Although, they’re getting quite keify and the breeder claims they have a genetic trait that make them put on most of their weight late in flower. So far I’m not too impressed by their size. The seedsman Badazz OG cheese has got good node spacing and structure but has very little trichs and smaller buds. I was just running the cheese to test old European genetics and my bias is starting to confirm my bias. Dutch and Euro genetics are shit. The slurricane #4 is looking fantastic in terms of frost but the buds are lacking a little in size. I’m going to do the 21 day strip today. I should have done most of this defoliation earlier in veg but right now is still fine. Ice cream cake #1 hermed which isn’t at all surprising so I scrapped her. At least it gives me more space to get in and tend to the rest of the plants. I got a pump sprayer to get in a bit closer to the plants as well.

At the beginning of the week I added a duct fan and ran a duct to the window for more fresh spring air. They seem to like it. After adding the air intake I didn't pay them much attention this week. I trusted the process They seem to be doing ok. I wonder?

Germ day 1: I started 7 Fast Buds seeds today. Dropped them directly in pure sunshine #4 mix with a pinch of mychorrizae around the seed. Gave them a thorough spray of Voodoo Juice and 6.5 ph water. I had great success with the last round of Fast Buds I ran and have seen some great here on GD. I can’t see why this would be any different. Happy Growing 🌱 There’s a couple pics of a just for fun outdoor Fast Buds Amnesia Haze. It was made from an Amnesia Haze plant I grew past summer and was pollinated by agricultural Hemp. This one is pollinated as well, but a big beast nonetheless. Shows how big these Fast Buds plants can get. 👍🏻👍🏻 Aug 18: Bubblegum, skunk and Russian broke ground, should be standing tall today. Aug 20: 100% success in germination.

27cm vertical growth this week!!!!!! Surprising! First watering with 6-12-36 powder mixed at 1g/Litre Very bushy as well. I can see me strategically clipping a few leaves in the weeks to come to make sure all flower sites receive sufficient light.
