Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! We used a 200L rain catcher to brew feed using General Hydroponics. Worked well, we just needed to add some PH solution as it was slightly acidic. We definitely made a few mistakes when transplanting last week, next season we will be doing things alot differently in terms of homes so they don't have to get transplanted so often.

The fourth week of growth has begun, and our FBA 2504 from 42Fast Buds is thriving. After the transplant into a 10-liter pot, the plant has adapted well and continues to develop strong and healthy. Despite being an autoflower, we're experimenting with a 12/12 light cycle, and so far, the results look promising. The temperature remains stable, reaching up to 30°C during the day, with an average of 27°C–28°C. Humidity is maintained between 60% and 65%, providing optimal conditions for growth. The plant has grown noticeably, now standing between 20 and 25 cm, with well-developed foliage. We've started applying low-stress training (LST) to shape its structure, encouraging better light penetration and maximizing potential yields. Additionally, we continue to feed our beauty with Xpert Nutrients, and the results are already visible—strong, vibrant growth and lush green leaves. Everything is on track, and we’re excited to see how our experiment unfolds in the coming weeks!

Day 36 (Second Grow): Hey everyone! We’re starting a new week and have officially entered the flowering phase! 🌸 We switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle, and the plants are responding beautifully, growing 5-10 cm every day. Our SCROG net is doing a great job keeping the canopy even, ensuring all parts of the plants get enough light. The Timor shield mantis is happily patrolling the garden, providing natural pest control. We've placed a hygrometer within the canopy to monitor humidity, which sometimes exceeds 70%. We're considering adding a dehumidifier to keep levels in check and prevent mold or mildew. Any tips on managing rapid growth during flowering or keeping humidity levels in check? Sie hat einen interessanten Duft am Start und ist weiter als gedacht!(Aussehen) Die Trichome sind an allen Buds, auch innerhalb und unterhalb, komplett milchig und Bernstein! Also wird jetzt nur noch Wasser gegeben und dann geerntet! Persönlich finde ich sie wunderbar gelungen,vom Aussehen, klar durch anderen Schnitt hätte man nur colas bauen können! Entering week three of flowering. Budlets forming everywhere. About 40 tops. Need another round of defoliation to get more light into the canopy. Nutrients ate running around 800-900 PPM. Not as strong smelling as I would've thought by now. Will see how they are by the end of the week.

Overall was a pretty straight forward grow, had no issues through flowering until the last few weeks when she began to foxtail. This was either due to high temps or genetics, personally I think it was due to high temps and poor climate control on my end. Although she foxtailed the buds still feel rock solid and smell of dank candy with a hint of fuel. The bud to leaf ratio was high and there was very little to trim, I’m hoping for a minimum of 7 days to dry, il try push 10 days, but my environment for drying is not the best at the moment. This week went by quick but they grew a lot! I didn't do anything different than last week but just increase their water intake from 1L to 1.5L and then followed my same nutrient regiment. I use the Fish Poop then the next day I just water. Then I use the Real Growers Soil Recharge and then I just water the next day. Then I use the MaxiGrow and then I just water the next day. Then I use the Stash Blend and then I use just water the next day. You can pH (using soil) between 5.5 and 6.5 so I always pH my Nutrient Solutions at 6.2 and use my pH'd water which is a 6.8 (7.0 for soil) but I pH my H20 after adding my Nutrient Solutions. I use my H2O that's always 65 degrees! I find it's better and easier to have a bucket with pH'd water ready to go at all times. It makes it easier when watering and feeding your plants especially if you have a few to care of!

This week nothing special happened. I gave nutrients to all of them, but this is the last time I gave nutrients to Sweet ZZ's, because I think they will be ready to harvest in one week approximately.
