It’s-a-growing... Not too stoked on how quick the top layer of soil is drying out with the hot weather. Definitely see a decrease in predator mite activity on the surface... hopefully they’re still busy down below. I added straw to help keep the upper layer from drying out... This decrease in beneficial bug activity could also be from switching to tap water... I did some rain water from my barrel to begin with, but got scared of pathogens because I know crows take lunch breaks on my roof and their scraps definitely means rodents coming in to clean up 😩 The tap water has no chloramide in it, so that’s a good thing. Hopefully my tiny air pump and stones bubbling a 5 gallon bucket for 24 hours gets rid of enough chlorine to keep the micro biological ecosytem in balance 🙏

Besides her twiggy stature, she’s a good high, very fruity in scent, feed back from a friend, after smoking a joint he felt mellow, he loved that it’s not harsh on the throat, very smooth, and for a person who smokes weed with tobacco, he finds himself smoking clean green when smoking it. Wow what can I fucking say... A real experience this was. True og x platinum is special cultivator. This freebie was a limited get it or don't this weekend sale only. I was lucky enough to snag some s7, candy cane, and 2 true ogs. The first true og failed due to me trying new germ methods. This one however weather no lights for 8 days with a window seal veg. She them bounced back and grew VIGOROUSLY. With the help of clonex and great white, we were able to top and clone her 2 weeks in veg and with strong lateral roots in 8 days. As week 3 to 4 approached we then transplanted the clones into a new solo which was uneeded I know now. She great rapidly and was then sprayed with 30ppm colloidal silver. This was to prep her for a reversal in hope of a potential keeper just based on her vegetation growth alone. She is incredible man, a really fast grower. As we approached week 5 and 6 of the vegetation process her clones got huge with big fan leaves which is know of the True Og since she is a high Indica hybrid. Her mama was the spread out over theist days of her vegetation cycle and achieved around 32 tops. For and indica she does stretch well but my downfall was not knowing she was indica or "noticing" it by physical traits. I should have given her 8 weeks and then I would have had 64 tops with everything spread out with an impressive lollipop.... maybe 128 one tent?!.. In all honestly I should have given her 8 weeks to create 30 colas instead of bud sites and nice chunky tops. Amazing quality just need the yield... okay back to it.. As the stretch went for around 3 weeks or 20 days, I hsted and lsted where needed to keep an even canopy. She transitions to flower fast and likes bloom around week 3 into 4. She builds heavy frost early on in the first 20 to 30 days to flower. Next time she will definitely go past 70 days. 62 days was definitely pristine and she definitely is a keeper. As mid to late flower set in, I Backed off gradually on the grow and increased on the bloom. I threw in terpinator late but will try near week 4 to 5 next go at her. She stacks incredible fast and well. Each bud created on this monster are dense as golf balls. She then starts to fade around Day 40. The 40s you will see purples and fall colors which then turn into a mix of reds, violets, autumn, and blackish purple. She then throws the most tirchomes once she near day 50. Her bracts bulk hard as they fatten to finish but her pistils which are thin and horse hair like are very very few. This is an amazing feature as her flower to leaf ratio is more hmmm give me bud.. Her terp profile boasts early and bullies other plants until harvest. She smells of berries, just, gas, spice.... honestly it's extremely complex... As I finally pulled her slightly amber on day 62 which was one of her early harvest ranges I'd day 60 to 75 for this strain. She was all cloudy however during the pull. As the mom dried for a couple of days, we pulled some okay numbers and have learned a lot and we also know what to do to triple this harvest number next go.. the clone was also successfully reversed and we believe created f1s true og x plat visions cut and true slurricane by visions... we will updated as soon as we know... Smoke report: OH man... this will be an ongoing thing until Christmas... I won't smoke much more until after march.. She is being saved until I get more. True Og x Plat 💯 hits like a fucking truck. She is a heavy head hitter with body stoning blended in as well which give her a nice balanced hybrid hit. It truly lives up to the platinum lineage tho with inhouses trichome productivity which is sugary and potent on hit almost like the sugar cane 🤔 She is extremely sticky when grinding into a bowl. The bud sticks completely in your top grinder almost every time.. As you smoke her you get the smoothest God damn smoke you'll ever smoke.. The smoke has a diesel pungent sting to the nose immediately after you take a hit. I'd say for a rookie it's probably a no go for you buddy... soon after that you are given the true og coined term "couchlocked" A real winner with other flavors which are extremely complex and can't be named until later--------------->>> The flavors found/ complex terpene profiles given off by this cultivar are I'd say "loud". Very creamy berry kush notes on the jar opening. When you smoke her 2 hits into a bowl, your face with feel red and flushed like a dab would. Shes like smoking pure hash essentially. Thats how greasy she is. On the exhale you experience complex notes but mainly earthy diesel kush funk. Very enjoyable relaxing high. Very potent. 2 friends took 2 hits and said it was too much to function even after that... for an average smoker it needs a warning label 🏷️ True Og X Platinum truly serves its purpose medicinally in large amounts with pain numbing goods and most important sleep. She takes the tension from everyday endeavors and throws that shit in the rear view mirrors. Large amounts induce permanent sleep. This is highly recommended as a night time smoke which worms great with my lifestyle. I really enjoyed growing this cultivar. The only thing I regret is not giving her 2 more weeks in veg. I would have capitalized instead of just getting some. Would have doubled if not tripled my harvest numbers. OH well. There will be a volume 2 shortly 😀 Update: No clone seeds. Pollen was kept. I believe it was due to using a store bought ppm. Nearly 35 days I think to get some pollen. Wasn't strong enough to reverse in a timely fashion for pollination. I'll grab a clone from wicked however and still continue crosses however. Rawtton will get some true og pollen however. All is not lost.

Growth has been steady and everything is thriving right now. Might need to get a new dehumidifier soon mine is starting to shit the bed so RH levels are a little high with lights out but the heater keeps them low enough to get by at this point. I removed all the fan leaves on these 2 around day 17 and they didnt skip a beat. I will be removing the fan leaves on everything on day 21, these 2 were flipped a week earlier than the test to remove males. Hope everyone is practicing their social distancing skills. Happy 4/20 all... Still on auto pilot. I've made very few changes this week. Process/Environment changes: -turned one of my ts1000s down after chopping my cheese auto.. it wasn't needed as much and it helped cool down my tent around 2 degrees Celsius. - humidity is set between 45- 55 percent. (45 lights off, 55 lights on) - rotating each plant in the tent so they they can get even light coverage I'm going to do a trichome check on Saturday. They are both pretty much close to being finished at 62 days post germination. Both have heavy trichome production Both smell very sweet

This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

8/11 -As the trends been this grow--both plants have responded very well to waterings. Im watering every other day allowing the substrate to dry out a little bit which encourages really good root growth. -I looked back to my previous grow diary to compare this grow to last at week 6 and oh boy am I blowing my old grow out of the water. Learning is a wonderful thing. -Stilts I put Cheese on seem to be working very well. Im starting to see a stretch on Cheese! Going to do some more LST to further even out the canopy. -Cream Cookies is really filling out and its undergrowth is really growing well. It's also starting to develop a strong odor! Awesome! A little bit about the nutrients: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE NUTRIENTS! Not for the pH perfect technology but for how easy it is to feed my babies with these nutrients. I used to use General Hydroponics flour duo (micro and bloom) and that was such a huge pain in the ass to mix solutions. Every week would be a different ratio of both Micro and Bloom. Super confusing and really easy to screw up. This Sensi line from advanced nutrients is insanely easy. You just add an equal amount of both Grow/Bloom A+B in a specific concentration and that's it. All the necessary nutrients that the plant needs will be available for it if it needs it. It also doesn't burn my plants at all. At the beginning of my grow I was thinking of buying an TDS meter to tune the concentration of my nutrient solution. As a chemist, I felt I didn't need this as I can do the math and calculate TDS based on the species present in the concentrated nutrient solution--I never had to do this. Ive found that the best concentration to feed is around 13 mL/gal. Anything more is just too concentrated and my plants did not like it. SUPER HAPPY WITH THIS NUTRIENT LINE. LIFETIME CUSTOMER NOW. 8/14 -Both plants doing extremely well still with no issues. No Ca/Mg deficiency spots observed on any more leaves. -Canopy is getting quite thick once again-going to do defoliation this week. -Both plants are stretching like crazy--probably going to lower Cheese to encourage more of a stretch. -LST worked wonders evening out the canopy. -Cream Cookies is starting to really smell! -Going to sprout 2 more cream cookies plants this week with the hope to keep plants in a flowering rotation. The hope is to always have flowering plants under the lamp! 8/15 -Did some defoliation to create some breaks in both canopies to allow for some light to penetrate to the lower leaves -Original fan leaves started wilting and turning yellow so I trimmed them. -Trimmed lower fan leaves on Cheese: they were so big that they were blocking a huge amount of light to the newer growth. Id rather light hit the new growth than the old growth. -The differences in both plants are starting to show. There is a little satire (~30%) in Cream cookies and you can see it in the fan leaves. They just aren't as fat as cheese. Cheese fan leaves are so short and fat its really cool. Cheese is also growing a little bit shorter than cream cookies. -Makes sense since Cheese is a heavy indica auto flower while cream cookies is a indica dominant hybrid. 8/16 -Boy are both plants stretching. Lamp raised from 15 to 18 inches. -Flowering is in full swing for both plants. -Every other feeding cycle is going very well. Going to increase to 600mL next feeding. Curious to see how they'll respond. 8/17 -My last grow has all sorts of issues so I think its kind of comical that all of my entries this grow are about how nice the grow is going day by day. Really is awesome seeing the things you learn over time come to fruition. -Have three weeks of time lapse video, when you speed it up 8 times you can really see the explosive "stretching." it happens almost so quickly that it looks like the video skipped forward in time. Cant wait to post the final time lapse video at the end of the grow!

Hi everyone, Last week I harvested #2 aswell, #1 is dry already and in fermintation. #3 and #4 just receive pH regulated Water from now, #5 still receives fertilizer. Its still sad that I cant adjust the light properly, due to the height of #4 and #5 Compared to #3. Nevertheless I have to pay more attention on the trichomes and be patient. Maybe I can harvest 3 and 4 at the end of the week, or next week. #5 still needs Its Time, as it is 2 weeks behind. I noticed that the size of the Buds increased slighty cause of the more Watts, the Most impact is on #5. I am very excited about the yield overall, but it is less than I thought itd be (as always).
