Today is day 57 I flipped them to flower on day 55, responded so well to all the things they've had done, topping, tie downs, defoliations, they look really good especially the bigger of the 2,.. roll on next week

In general i am very satisfied considering the biggest problem i had which was the heat during all the growing period. I also had a power cut which stressed the plant very much to the point it stopped growing for a few days ( the most critical days 😡 😤 ) and developed 3 finger leaves. Despite the heat the buds are very frosty, they have a very strong smell like fruits and diesel and the density is decent. The buds dried for 9 days at 22 °C and 60% RH and now are placed at PP tapers with boveda envelops to cure. Smoke report at 2-3 weeks.

Absolutely amazed by this genetic. Grew flawlessly and stacked some serious nugs. She ended up purping nicely and had reds and pinks as well. I've never grown something so greasy and the 👃 it's absolutely amazing!!! It's a very sour pine with a peppery lemon aroma.

Girls keep growing pretty well in my rookie opinion, giving them a lot of time and love ❤️!!

This week has gone great! Apricot auto has taken very well to the topping,feedings and the low stress training. I must say,it’s a very resilient cultivar. Very excited to see the flower she produces.

Die Buds sind super fest und echte Brocken. Das Icing zieht sich bei diesem Pheno etwas stärker durch, dafür ist die Blütenstruktur etwas kleiner. Diese Woche wurde nur mit Wasser gegossen. Das Aroma der Pflanze ist etwas chemischer/ skunkiger als bei der anderen. Ich denke nächste Woche ist es Zeit für die Ernte. I love these last stages! The girls are still stretching but I decided to give them a defoliation a week early. If you look back on last week you can see how bushy they have gotten so there was a definite need to get some light to the lower bud sites. I can definitely start to smell the familiar gassy aroma coming through now so may be time to get the fan and carbon filter cranked up. I will be top amending the soil again at some point this coming week but as for now I have just been feeding with water and liquid seaweed. I've had a few compliments from friends on the good health of the plants this time round compared to previous grows when the Sour Diesels had nutrient issues, not helped by the Coco medium I was using. I'll be sticking to this choice of soil and organic nutrients with the results I'm getting so far! I mean, look at those pistils!! 😁 I love that I've had 93 views on this diary so far! D64. We're at the start of the fourth week of flower, and today was a busy day. First, I had to remove the old lights before swapping in the light from my auto tent. All while trying to avoid trashing the plants in the way too full tent. Not an easy task. The entire mission, with changing the light in the auto tent as well, took a couple of hours. I wish I could keep the Greenception lights in the tent as they're high-quality lights, but the Kingbrite has a much lower profile and thus takes up much less space. Space that I desperately need considering how insanely much these girls stretched. One of the tops on the second girl has unfortunately already been bunt by being too close to the light, and I'm sure I will run into light bleaching and probably foxtailing as the grow progress, but I hope I will be able to pull it off with the Kingbrite light. I also added some wire support to the branches that I super-cropped, as they looked somewhat sad after all the abuse to the canopy while swapping the lights. ------------------------------ D66. It looks like the girls have FINALLY stopped stretching. Phew! Yesterday, I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.2 with humic acid and EM-1. Today, the green lacewing larvae (Chrysoperla Carnea) arrived, and I dispersed them in the tent to deal with the thrips. ------------------------------ D68. All is well in the tent, but now when the thrips are (hopefully) under control, it's time to address the VPD. It has gotten seriously out of wack due to dropping temps, plus I increased the humidity to make the environment more inhospitable for the thrips. The temps were low due to the light change as the new one is running a lot cooler, but the temps have also dropped outside. The heating in the lungroom has been off until now, so I turned that on and lowered the humidity threshold on my exhaust fan. Finally, I put my small humidifier in the tent, generating extra heat and decreasing the humidity. So far, the VPD has increased from a terrible 0.4-0.5 to an acceptable 0.9, and I'm hoping it will increase further as the ambient RH drops as we move into winter. ------------------------------ D70. We're at the end of the fourth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. The VPD has gone up to 1.0, which is a nice improvement to what it was only a couple of days ago. I haven't scouted yet for thrips, but I will give the lacewings a couple of days to do their thing and then look closer. However, I went to WAR against the spider mites we have in our ornamental plants in the apartment. I sprayed all plants with my homemade pesticide (capsaicin, alcohol, horticultural soap.) since I had it at hand. If that fails to knock the spider mites back, I'll bring out the neem oil instead. The infestations aren't bad (yet), but it would suck to get mites into my tents, so better to be proactive. ------------------------------

22/06/2022 - Day 58 Gorilla Girls🦍 are almost ready. # 1 has already been a week with only BioBoost and RIPEN. # 2 started with Boost 4 days ago, now I wait for the soil to dry and then wash in the tank.🛁 The Gelato Girls 🍦are still a little behind in maturation (especially # 2, due to folding). She will start with Boost and RIPEN with # 1 from the next watering🚿, while continuing with Flores and Boost for # 2.🌱 26/06/2022 - Day 61 Gorilla Girls 🦍 are ready for flushing in the bathtub.🛁 Then I will wait for the soil to dry and then I will cut.✂️ Gelato Girls 🍦 are still a bit missing. # 1 has moved to Boost + RIPEN , # 2 is still in the previous nutrient phase. It will switch to Boost + RIPEN next week.

beginning of week 7 of flower: This week was really tough for this plant. 2 times the power outlet seemed to have some issue. I think it’s a physical hardware issue inside the wall. I’ve ran the extension cord from another location in the room, and haven’t had any issues since. Considering she only got about 5 hours of light in a 48 hour span, I feel she’s looking pretty good. The smell of the plant is really getting strong. When I first open the tent there’s an almost overwhelming citrus smell in the air. I really enjoy it.

LST on day 37

I pumped up the bloom nutrients a little. As it’s my last week before I go into the flower stage. My lights will go 12/ 12 shortly. I added a wooden support system because the plant was slanted a little bit. I also removed clones yesterday. And the plant is healing very very well and fast. Lots of new baby nodes growing! took out the strongest two plants to keep as mother plants. And I continued LST as the plant keeps growing steadily!
