Great growth and , I really picked at the lady’s this week and crazy hydroponic store visit.. was a memorable start of the week . But yeah these advanced nutrients are really expensive and they do a great job just thinking bout switching back to hg and emerald harvest.. but other details this week is that they like the lollipop and de leafing. last day de leafing will be Monday morning . For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. The new strain profile indicates a whopping 29%THC with mainly sativa uplifting, euphoric, social effects with sweet fruity flavors which I love and enjoy. First week of plain water but the fading occurred much sooner than that. The chop is set on the 15th of September so very close! Almost all of the trichomes have turned to milky. I plucked a couple more seeds to see the stage and they're pretty much all ready. I decided to separate them in different bags depending on what plant they grew on. I believe the ones that only had the hermie's genetic should logically be worst than the others so it's better to keep them seperate. We'll see each other again on the 15th :) ____________________________________________________________________________ Edit: I realized that I miscalculated a lot of things and that my diary is not as accurate as I wanted it to be. The correct chop date would be the 12th of September. The trichomes that are still clear still have a bit of time to turn white. I switch to 48hrs of darkness on the 10th.

Weekly update. Sorry it was a late update this week I was out of town (Bizcon2024). Wow have they grown, I'd say doubling in size. I've upped the watering to 1000ml daily, this week I'll do a major defoliation and lollipoping. All in all Happy Growing

We are true fans of what we do. We call ourselves growers with dignity. Back in 2023, we kept growing indoors even when there was no electricity for months and power was only available for a few hours a day. We used generators, and when they broke down during winter, so our beauties wouldn’t freeze, we heated water over open fires, filled plastic bottles with it, and used them to keep the temperature stable until we could repair the old generator or buy a new one. We did all of this within just a few hours, over and over again. But what happened this year, just one day ago, was something truly horrifying. I posted the video here showing how it happened and how lucky I was to survive. We are not giving up, and we are trying to stay strong even though it is incredibly hard. Even now, after everything that happened, we are still trying to save the plants. They were ripped out by the roots and wilted badly, but they are photoperiod plants, and we still hope they can recover. I uploaded the video of what happened — you can watch it in the diary. Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Hello 👋 and welcome back. I've been really, really stoned for a month or two. I do enjoy a good cleaning. No need to be rushing this one, I've got a lot of stuff to tweak in the grow tent. Give it a good scrub to boot. Added a bunch of organic amendments to the medium and reloaded mineral content. Giving it a few weeks to let everything break down, settle in, and balance out before beginning, I'll be doing a thorough pH and EC prior to placing anything in the final pot and making sure to give it a good till in the top soil once everything is broken down into more palatable size. Organic fertilizer = organic matter that's still in the process of breaking down. Mineral fertilizer = salt mineral that's already broken down and ready for uptake in its current form. Synthetic mineral fertilizer = man-made minerals ready for uptake in their current form. Synthetic concentrated fertilizer = man-made concentrates that don't exist in nature. Adding this grow. 500g Horticultural charcoal. 454g Elite Shungite Coal (Fullerene C60). 1kg Spirulina is approx NPK 10%, 100g/1kg (N), 20% 200g/1kg (P), and 20% 200g/1kg (K). In 1 kg (1000g) of spirulina, you can expect approximately 50 mg to 177 mg of Zeaxanthin. 1 kg of moringa powder, approximate NPK : 4.8% N, 0.5% P, and 1.9% K. 500g Azomite. (Ultimate mineral micro nutrient). 1kg of Gaia green 4-4-4, 1kg of 4-4-4 fertilizer contains 4% which is equivalent to 40 grams of each in 1000g. 500g eggshells, 20grams of calcium per 500g. Generally, the more organic matter a plant breaks down, the higher the soil's electrical conductivity (EC) tends to be. This is because the breakdown of organic matter releases nutrients into the soil solution, which increases the concentration of dissolved ions that conduct electricity. Roots and microorganisms do not directly compete for electrical conductivity itself. However, they do interact in the rhizosphere, a zone around plant roots where microbes and plants compete for resources like nutrients and water, which can indirectly influence electrical conductivity. Plant roots release exudates (carbon) into the soil, providing energy and nutrients for microbes. Some research suggests that fullerenes can increase the availability of nutrients and enhance plant growth. Buckminsterfullerene is a type of fullerene with the formula C60. It has a cage-like fused-ring structure (truncated icosahedron) made of twenty hexagons and twelve pentagons, and resembles a soccer ball. Each of its 60 carbon atoms is bonded to its three neighbors. Shungite coal, particularly the "precious Shungite" variety, is known to contain fullerenes, with a higher content found in Shungite of category 3. The most common fullerene, C60 (also known as buckminsterfullerene or a buckyball), is a well-studied example. Bushing out nicely! I probably should have adjusted the LST to allow them to grow taller but they were responding nicely so I kept them pinned and adjusted every few days. Finally started ph’ing the water to around 6. Water is tap, not measuring TDS or adding liquid nutes at this point. The soils transplant was done with 50/50 mix of Natures Living Soil and soil, botto 1/3 of pot and remaining 2/3 soil.

-Start of Week 7- 8/30- Here we go...Week seven should end with ALL the ladies in flower, I hope! The Seedsman Zkittles #3 is the 'last girl out' having been a week behind the others. The Seedsman Gelato OG in Natures Living Soil is not as robust as its sister in the SOHUM Living Soil. They are both visually extremely similar in appearance except the one in Sohum is roughly 25% bigger!...interesting! The ladies received Compost Tea for breakfast @ 1/2 gallon each but before I fed them I added 1 cup of Diatomaceous Earth to each pots medium which I worked into the soil by hand (this will cut the Fungus Gnats and any other undesirables in the medium to shreds! Muahaha!😈) then watered it in with the tea. The Crystal Meth #1 is showing nitrogen toxicity and possibly the Purple Lemonade #1 as the Crystal Meth #1's leaf tips are 'clawing' and she's deep green. The Purple Lemonade #1's also really dark and shes got some yellowing of a few leaves happening but no 'clawing'. I'm just going to let her eat as she's a short, stocky little biatch with some heavy, stanky buds forming!. The FastBuds genetics are appearing to be very sensitive to nutrients, more so than the Seedsman strains which haven't shown any real issues other than being slower to flower and BUSHY as hell!😁 *On a side note, I popped nine photo-period beans today- Dutch Passion Power Plant, White Widow & Meringue / Archive's Poochie Love and some Blueberry Skunk from bag seeds🙏 8/31- I moved the fans directions to avoid too much wind on the girls this morning as it was blowing pretty hard on the Crystal Meth #1 and Zkittles #1. Going to put pot elevators under all the fabric pots today to allow any water/nutrients to drain out and not be reabsorbed. Gave the Crystal Meth #1 a 2 gallon flush with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8 to try to leech out some of the nitrogen from her. I gave the other ladies a lite water if they felt dry and tucked shade leaves on the Gelato OG's, Zkittles and Purple Lemonade's. Conditions in the 4x8 are right on point for Week 7: 64-82 deg., 65-70% RH and a 11.1 VPD Heights as of 8/31- FastBuds: Purple Lemonade #1- 14" Purple Lemonade #2- 19" Crystal Meth #1- 24 Crystal Meth #2- 19" Seedsman Seeds: Gelato OG #1- 24" Gelato OG #2- 21" Zkittles #1- 17" Zkittles #2- 21" Zkittles #3- 20" 9/1- Lite water: 2 1/2 gal. de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.7 @ 74 deg. divided evenly between all but Purple Lemonade #1 as she was still very moist and the Crystal Meth #1 which got flushed with 2 gal. of 6.4 ph de-chlorinated water @ 74 deg. I did a heavy defoliation on the Crystal Meth #2 taking off all the crappy looking shade leaves that were damaged from the ph'd imbalance she had. I also defoliated both the Seedsman Gelato OG's and Zkittles #1 & #2 as they are SO bushy and leafy they needed it to get the light down into their canopies. 9/2- The FastBuds Purple Lemonade's are displaying to vastly different phenotype's with #1 growing short, squat with THICK indica leaves and the darkest green color. #1 also is exhibiting fox tail structure on her buds which are extremely resinous already. The #2 Purple Lemonade is tall with wider node spacing, a traditional bud structure with the flowers exhibiting rich purple hues contrasted by snow white pistils...beautiful! Both ladies have an extremely pungent citrus aroma to them! The Gelato OG's are both putting their energy into the multitude of bud sites that both have and both are tall, bushy plants with multiple branches although the #2 in SOHUM Living Soil is doing slightly better than #1 in Natures Living Soil. The FastBuds Crystal Meth's are both stacking nicely although the #2 will never be the beautiful specimen her sister is I'm hoping she'll finish out with a decent yield of quality smoke. The Seedsman Zkittles #1 & #2 are both doing well, both into flower with their buds just starting their development. The #3 Zkittles is doing her best to catch up to her sisters but is still about a week behind them, just coming out of pre-flower. Gave all the girls a drink of de-chlorinated water which had a ph of 6.7 @ 75 deg.. I evenly divided 4 gal between them, then went over all tucking leaves. 9/4- Gave all the girls 5 gal. of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.7 @ 74 deg. with 3 tbsp/gal of unsulphured molasses added to it and divided evenly between all. Daily branch coaxing and leaf tucking. The FastBuds ladies are all way ahead of the Seedsman girls and are well into flower. I'm guessing that the FB's will be harvested within the next 7-10 days and the Seedsman's 1-2 weeks later. All the Seedsman plants are doing fantastic! They're all bushy with good color and a ton of budsites! 9/5- Cleaned the pre-filter on the Terra-Bloom carbon filter as it was clogged. Watered all today with 4 gal de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @75 deg. with 5 ml/gal CalMag+ added. Goodbye Week 7...Here we go into the home stretch!!!

Hooked up my carbon filter today. I'm only using it to scrub the air on a timer. Decided to poke a few holes in the ducting to help move scrubbed air around my plant. Added the other fan back in to keep air circulating. Since I don't have fresh air coming in I plan on using a supplement for co2. What are you guys using? It's only a small 2×2×6 tent with one plant and running a 150w HP's light.

Arrancó la floración. Las plantas se fueron bastante arriba, así que estas dos semanas voy a estar aplicando lst para manejar la altura y no estresar a las plantas en floración. Es una variedad de floración rápida y 90% indica, por lo que no espero un estirón muy fuerte. Por el momento elegí usar EMRO desde el principio, dado que la reacción de las plantas fue mejor que al bioestimulante en las aplicaciones foliares. El presupuesto no me dio para delta9 esta vez. Pero la próxima espero que si. De todos modos le tengo mucha fé a la combinación de los dos productos usados. Estaré actualizando. Es el 5to día de flora y las plantas vienen mostrando un estiramiento medido. Por suerte tengo lugar para manejar la altura. Pero aún así voy a tener que agrandar el depósito ya que cada 2 días debo agregar agua. 18 litros no son suficientes para este tamaño de plantas. Pero voy contento con los resultados. El bioestimulante que usé no es muy bueno. He visto mejores reacciones con delta 9. Día 7. Tuve que usar LST obligado para intentar poner las plantas a la misma altura. Al final la pequeña de atrás no prosperó demasiado, así que va a quedar ahí y sea lo que sea. Por el momento las yemas no se muestran tanto, pero eso es la falta de un bioestimulante de calidad. De todos modos por el momento los resultados son buenos y las plantas están fuertes y sanas. Ya estan a 20cm de las luces y voy a tratar de mantenerlas ahí o como muy cerca a 15cm. Mañana cambio el depósito y repetiremos las fórmulas con un poco menos de EMRO.
