Salokin Week 7 – Vegetation | GMO × Triangle Mints BX I am back, as promised, when there will be an app. So I am happy to beta test. Week 7 in veg on the GMO × Triangle Mints BX — a cut I received from Spain, indica-dominant, and exactly as compact as the rep suggested. Tight internodal spacing throughout veg, which means LST and HST both in play to open the canopy before she hits preflower and does her thing. Sitting at 50cm currently, lamp dialed to 100cm distance. Running 3L per plant per 24h, pH locked at 6.2, EC at 1.5 mS/cm — clean and conservative for this stage. Pots are 60L, synthetic feed. Temps holding at 28°C day, humidity at 72% — slightly on the higher side, keeping an eye on it. Nutrient stack this week: Aptus Regulator at 0.1 ml/l for cell wall integrity, Canna CalMag Agent at 1.1 ml/l, CANNA Aqua Vega at 2 ml/l as the backbone — and Green Planet Rezin at 0.5 ml/l dialed in early. Terpene and resin precursor support starting in veg is something I believe in, especially with a cut like this where the nose is already showing. Feed regiment is a 3-cycle rotation: two full feeds with the complete stack, third feed is a 50/50 blend of osmosis and tap water carrying only Regulator and CalMag. Keeps salt buildup in check in the 60L pots while maintaining the micronutrient and calcium baseline throughout. To close out veg properly — Athena IPM was applied as a foliar during the dark period today, clean slate before the flip. And that’s exactly what happened: they got flipped to flower today. The GMO × Triangle Mints BX preflower stretch is what I’m watching for now. Updates will follow. More updates Sunday by Sunday. Stay tuned.

Salokin Week 1 Flower | GMO × Triangle Mints BX Week 8 overall, first week of flower is in the books and the stretch has been speaking all week. Most of the plants have pushed through the first net and are racing toward the next level — exactly what you want to see in the first week of flower. Goal for the week was to establish the canopy and let the stretch do its thing, mission accomplished. Height sitting at 72cm, lamp pulled to 60cm distance now that we’re in flower. Running 12/12 from here. Watering dialed back to 2.2L per plant per 24h — they’re not drinking as aggressively as expected this week, managed two waterings total. Not going to force it, the 60L pots are doing their job. pH holding stable at 6.2, EC nudged up to 1.65 mS/cm to meet the increased demand coming into flower. Day temp at 27°C, nights at 23°C — solid 4°C differential keeping the stretch in check. Nutrient stack: Canna CalMag Agent 1.1 ml/l, CANNA Aqua Vega 2.2 ml/l, Aptus Regulator 0.1 ml/l, Green Planet Rezin 0.5 ml/l. Feed rotation stays the same — two full feeds, third is 50/50 osmosis and tap carrying only Regulator and CalMag. Environment running smooth at 1.1–1.15 VPD during lights on. Had to add two smaller dehumidifiers on the table to handle the RH surge at lights off — that spike was the only thing needing attention this week. Opening the tent requires killing the side lights to avoid burning the plants while moving the table around, which temporarily throws the readings, but outside of that — smooth sailing. More updates Sunday by Sunday. Stay tuned.

Salokin Week 2 Flower | GMO × Triangle Mints BX Week 9 overall, second week of flower is wrapped and things are moving exactly as planned. Far red was bumped up to 20 minutes this week to trigger additional stretch through shade avoidance — worked like a charm. The canopy response was immediate and the budsites are starting to show themselves nicely. Stems are looking strong as ever, which is no surprise — that’s the Aptus Regulator doing its thing. In my eyes the one and only silica worth using, full stop. This week also saw a massive defoliation of the lower and under canopy — opening up space to give the middle canopy a last chance to break through and reach the light. Next week the work continues — all unfavorable growth and underdeveloped bud sites will be removed so the ladies can put everything into the essential sites during the stretch and bulking phase. No passengers on this run. The ladies have finally started drinking the way they should. pH holding steady at 6.2, EC stepped up to 1.8 mS/cm to match the increasing demand. Feed rotation stays the same — two full feeds with the complete stack, third feed is 50/50 osmosis and tap, pH’d, carrying only CalMag. Looking ahead: next feed flips to flower nutrients at the same EC, with PK 13/14 introduced alongside. The week after that, Plagron Green Sensation comes in to complete the flower regiment. The programme is locked and loaded. The ladies are praying hard — a clear sign they’re loving the treatment. Next update Sunday. Stay tuned.

Salokin Week 3 Flower | GMO × Triangle Mints BX Week 10 overall, and this is what happy plants look like. Every top praying straight to the light — the result of a perfectly orchestrated combination of dialled VPD, correct nutrition, and a canopy that’s been managed with intention from day one. The defoliation work is largely done. A few leaves here and there will continue to come off all the way through flower as needed, but the heavy lifting is behind us. The canopy is open, the bud sites are getting what they need, and the structure is exactly where it should be at this stage. Far red has been stepped up to 30 minutes after lights out, and UV is now running 2 hours mid lights-on cycle — pushing resin production and terpene development early. The combination of far red and UV at this stage is deliberate and calculated. Plants have stretched to 100cm, lamp now sitting at 40cm distance — closing in as the canopy fills. Watering up to 3.3L per plant per 24h, the ladies are drinking properly now. pH steady at 6.2, EC holding at 1.8 mS/cm. Humidity at 68%, day temp 27°C, nights 23°C. The humidifier has been removed this week — the biomass is now transpiring enough on its own to keep humidity exactly where it needs to be. The room is running itself. Nutrient stack has made the full transition to flower: Canna CalMag Agent 1.1 ml/l, Aptus Regulator 0.1 ml/l, Green Planet Rezin bumped to 1 ml/l, CANNA Aqua Flores A+B at 4.58 ml/l each, and CANNA PK 13/14 introduced at 0.25 ml/l — which will be gradually increased to 0.75 ml/l over the coming weeks, catering to the ever increasing demand as the ladies push deeper into flower. Feed rotation stays the same — two full feeds, third is 50/50 osmosis and tap, pH’d, carrying only CalMag. Smell is coming through — normal intensity for now but the profile is already hinting at what’s coming. The GMO × Triangle Mints BX is starting to talk. Next update Sunday. Stay tuned.

Salokin Week 4 Flower | GMO × Triangle Mints BX Week 11 overall, and the room is shifting into a different gear. The buds are stacking, the structure is locked in, and the bud sites are developing exactly as expected from this genetics. Defoliation this week was light — a few leaves here and there, nothing structural. The canopy management work from the previous weeks is paying off and the plants are doing the rest themselves. This week marked the introduction of Super Microbes BoostX into the feed programme, applied every two weeks with the water cycle. It brings a broad microbial consortium — multiple Bacillus strains, Lactobacillus spp., Rhodopseudomonas palustris, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Glomus intraradices, amino acids and vitamins. RootX was already applied at transplant, delivering mycorrhiza (Glomus intraradices), Trichoderma harzianum, 13 strains of Bacillus spp., humic acids, amino acids and vitamins directly to the root zone where it matters most. A living root zone is a productive root zone. Plants now at 110cm, lamp sitting at 30cm distance — dialled in to push maximum photon delivery into the tops. Running 3.3L per plant per 24h, pH holding steady at 6.2, EC stepped up to 1.9 mS/cm. Humidity down to 60%, day temp holding at 27°C, nights at 23°C. Nutrient stack: Canna CalMag Agent 1.1 ml/l, CANNA Aqua Flores A+B at 4.6 ml/l each, CANNA PK 13/14 increased to 0.46 ml/l in line with the escalating demand, Aptus Regulator 0.1 ml/l, Green Planet Rezin 1 ml/l. Feed rotation stays the same — two full feeds, third is 50/50 osmosis and tap, pH’d, carrying only CalMag. Next update Sunday. Stay tuned.

Salokin Week 5 Flower | GMO × Triangle Mints BX Week 12 overall — halftime, and everything is going according to plan. This is the point in the run where the work put in during veg and early flower either shows or doesn’t. In this case it’s showing. The buds are forming nicely across the board, every site that was kept is stacking, and the canopy is sitting exactly where it needs to be. No drama, just execution. The structure on this cut continues to impress. The tight internodal spacing that defined her in veg is now translating into dense, compact bud formation along every retained site. The trichome coverage is already visible to the naked eye and building fast — a good early sign of what the finish line is going to look like. The GMO influence is clearly present in the calyx stacking and overall density, while the Triangle Mints BX contribution is showing in the frost and the way the sites are filling from the base up rather than just at the tips. Height holding at 110cm, lamp still at 30cm distance — maxed out, pushing every photon into the canopy. Watering steady at 3.3L per plant per 24h, the ladies are drinking consistently now. pH locked at 6.2, EC pushed up to 2.0 mS/cm to keep pace with the escalating demand of the bulking phase. Humidity tightened down to 50% — botrytis prevention becomes the priority from here, no compromises. Day temp 27°C, nights up slightly to 25°C to keep the differential managed without stressing the plants. Smell has stepped up to strong. The GMO × Triangle Mints BX is making itself known — the room has a presence now that wasn’t there last week. A candy gas profile is developing, exactly the kind of nose you’d expect from this cross, and it’s only going to intensify from here as the resin production ramps up through the back half. Nutrient stack: Canna CalMag Agent 1.1 ml/l, CANNA Aqua Flores A+B at 4.6 ml/l each, CANNA PK 13/14 stepped up to 0.5 ml/l continuing the gradual increase in line with demand, Aptus Regulator 0.1 ml/l, Green Planet Rezin 1 ml/l — and Plagron Green Sensation introduced at 0.5 ml/l, right on schedule. The full flower programme is now running. Feed rotation stays unchanged — two full feeds with the complete stack, third is 50/50 osmosis and tap, pH’d, carrying only CalMag. The second half starts now. Let’s see what she’s got. Next update Sunday. Stay tuned.

Salokin Week 6 Flower | GMO × Triangle Mints BX Week 13 overall, and the ladies are firmly in ripening mode now. The transition is visible — bud density is increasing week on week, trichome coverage is building across every surface, and the natural senescence is beginning to show on some of the fan leaves. Nitrogen is being drawn down, temperatures are running cooler, and the plant is doing exactly what it should at this stage of the game. Nothing to chase, nothing to fix — just letting the genetics do their thing. This was the last week of base nutrients. From next week, Athena Fade takes over for the final three weeks — a deliberate choice to manage the finish cleanly and let the plant draw down its reserves on its own terms rather than pushing nutrients all the way to the end. The ladies are drinking hard — watering jumped to 6L per plant per 24h this week, a clear signal that the root zone is active and the canopy is working at full capacity. pH holding at 6.2, EC brought back to 1.8 mS/cm as the feed profile shifts toward the finish. Humidity holding at 50%, day temp pulled down to 25°C, nights at 23°C — the cooler environment is intentional, encouraging resin production and supporting the natural fade without stressing the buds. PK 13/14 is out — fully replaced by Plagron Green Sensation now running at 1 ml/l. The rest of the stack: Canna CalMag Agent 1.1 ml/l, CANNA Aqua Flores A+B at 4 ml/l each, Aptus Regulator 0.1 ml/l, Green Planet Rezin 1 ml/l. Feed rotation stays unchanged — two full feeds, third is 50/50 osmosis and tap, pH’d, carrying only CalMag. Smell is at another level this week — an intense, room-filling candy gas that hits you the moment you open the tent. The GMO × Triangle Mints BX is leaving absolutely no doubt about what it is. Next update Sunday. Stay tuned.

Salokin Week 7 Flower | GMO × Triangle Mints BX Week 14 overall, and the room is in full ripening mode. The fade is progressing exactly as intended and the plants are responding beautifully — this week the phenotype expression really started to reveal itself, with deep purples and dark hues bleeding through the buds on several plants. That’s the genetics talking, not the light. The GMO × Triangle Mints BX is showing its true colours in the final stretch. Lamp has been dropped to 20cm distance — as close as it goes, squeezing every last photon into the canopy for the final push. Height holding at 110cm, the stretch is long done. Watering climbed again to 7.5L per plant per 24h — the root zone is working overtime to fuel the final swell. pH locked at 6.2, EC deliberately pulled back to 1.5 mS/cm as the fade protocol takes effect and the plant draws down its reserves. Humidity holding at 50%, day temp 25°C, nights 23°C. Athena Fade is now the backbone of the feed at 4.1 ml/l, with the base nutrients fully removed. The rest of the stack supporting the finish: Canna CalMag Agent 1.1 ml/l, Plagron Green Sensation 1 ml/l, Aptus Regulator 0.1 ml/l, Green Planet Rezin 1 ml/l. Feed rotation stays unchanged — two full feeds, third is 50/50 osmosis and tap, pH’d, carrying only CalMag. Smell is overwhelming — that candy gas profile has reached a level where the room announces itself before you even open the door. Two weeks to go and the finish line is in sight. Next update Sunday. Stay tuned.
