Well, today was the last day veging. I defoliated the lower 20%, switched on the red LEDs and set the timer to 12h. I activated the 2nd fan inside the box and also switched on the mini fan connected to the cooled hood. I'll leave it open until the stretch or the smell begins. As soon as there's any smell, I'll close the system by adding the glass shield. Also, I'll save the resulting temperature drop for the later weeks so... let's see... Nutrients added: about nothing. I read somewhere you should flush the plants before the switch so I just feed a normal quantity of water with only a bit of nutrients. It's around a 1/20th of the recommended dose maybe. Let the adventure begin!

It took 80 days from seed to harvest and a further 9 days to dry as i couldn't keep the temp low enough but that was my problem and 352g of dry curable bud back is amazing for an autoflower in my opinion, especially grown in coco

Going great. I’ve still got them under 24h blurples until tonight when I repot them into 7 gallon smart pots. I’ll switch them to 18/6. I can’t justify the big light yet so I’ll wait a week or so on that. I’m planting them in royal coast tupur which I cannot say enough good stuff about always perfect runoff ph. Never signs of overwatering no matter how many times a day I feed. TRy it.

Here we are at the moment of truth, the flowers are starting to form, our Ghost Train Haze reveals its sex and of course like all Zamnesia plants I will be the father of two beautiful females. One is growing straight but I will show it to you later because I have been focusing a lot on this one in main - lining. It is a plant with a wide internodal distance so we have more time to shape it before the woodification and it lends itself very well to late lst interventions. I managed to open it on the main line very well and the lateral branches are really, growing and stretching properly. We will not see the super productive trees of the autumn harvest but I am willing to bet that we will have lots of beauty and lots of resin in beautiful bush-sized plants. Wait for the uncle BreadandBuds.... We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start schedule that keeps the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a bit swollen, do not start immediately. Not much going on yet. Added some 3d printed supports to make sure they don't start flopping over. Not sure if it's the strain, or my idiocy, but these bastards are soooo leggy. Grr. Watering daily to 15% runoff with MegaCrop 2 part in RO at 0.6EC and 5.6pH. Found Mega Crop gives very stable pH on the right range without any pH up or down needed. Took one day off (3/18) watering to water with Silica Boost at 6ml/gal concentration pHed to 5.4. PPFD 300 at canopy for DLI of 20. PPFD was about 20 for first week while I was prepping and sanitizing the grow room, which might explain the leggyness. If they don't look better after topping, I might pull them and try a different strain. 3/20 - this grow is inspired by the techniques of Bruce Bugbee (PPFD, nutrition, EC monitoring, substrate, environment, etc) and the concept of VPD control, both of which served me very well in the past. The grow room has dual PID controls in my PLC regulating the temperature and humidity to lock in the VPD based on plant age. In later veg and flower, I had CO2 injection on a PID, but that ultimately failed because I couldn't get the humidity down as it got huge. Had too many vent cycles. This year, hope to source or kludge an in-line dehumidifier so I can keep the sealed chamber where it needs to be without wasting CO2. 3/22 no more vertical growth, thank god, leaves and roots are slowly catching up.
