week 5 when the thrips first showed themselves. I noticed them cuz some silver stains started appearing on some leaves. you can see them better under LED light. So, I sprayed Neem Oil all over the plant. I could notice that if you don't do it well, spraying and rubbing the leaves with a piece of cloth, the oil will also create some stains. 2nd topping. killed some thrips this week, they're cute and didn't seem to harm the plant seriously. Neem oil worked fine to control them. No other pests that I could notice + Defoliation + LST Flowermind (4ml + 0.5g)

Fast grow from day 7 till today day 14. I have added a humidifier to help get my RH up cause it was too low. It is still not as good as i would like, but its okay. I started doing some LST and leaf tucking on Day 12 on the biggest plants and those i felt like could benefit from it. Today i lowered my lights so now my MH 600w light is down to 50cm from the canopy and the LED is at 45cm. I also bought a Lux meter (Urceri Cloc – Lux Meter) to measure but im really confused about it after it showed that the LED puts out way more Lux than the 600MH but its supposed to be better at measuring HID light and not catch all the light from the full spectrum LED but still the LED seems to work better. You can judge yourself with the video ill post with this update. The 2 biggest plants is under the 600W bulb though, so there is alot to take in count at this moment. Also i removed one more plant, so now the total is 16 plants and i will continue experimint with the height of the lamps. I would love some feedback 😎 Day 15: I took both lights up to 64cm.. Changed the MH bulb to a Full spectrum Bulb which gives more light to my girls Day 20: posted new pictures, its going good until now, i just wish they were a little bigger but i have many different phenotypes it seems. When they go into flower i may add 400w more hps, but only if they will get big enough

Day 36 Ladies look great on the start of week 6. Yesterday’s feed went in well and they both seem stretching their nodes. Day 37 Watered them with water only today. They look happy and healthy. The red stems on the taller lady are genetics as kindly confirmed by Fast Buds. 🔝 Day 39 Water day today / mixed different cocktails for both with specific needs. Run off Ph and EC improving :) Day 40 All looking good today 💚 - both plants have some slight rust spots on some leaves but I think it’s Cal/Mag deficiency and yesterday I both gave them some. Today the spots seem to have remained the same so maybe it’s solved. Day 42 Ladies are stretching their tops during these days and filling up slowly but steadily. All looking good till now for the Gelato Sisters 👯‍♀️

Vegetationstag 42. An Tag 39 wurde erneut getoppt, sodass wir mittlerweile 16 triebe wachsen. Ob es nochmal zum toppen kommt kann ich noch nicht sagen - sie wirkt jetzt schon etwas gestresst. Ich werde ihr erstmal eine woche ruhe geben und schauen was sie macht. Habe ansonsten mit LST alles ein wenig in die Breite gezogen und ja. Sie macht ihr ding und ich bin zufrieden. A step back recently: Started a final flush (2 days in), and decided to start feeding her again - thanks to some great GD input! 250 ppm at re-start and will work my way to 500ppm? She's still rockin' along - like nothing happened. She topped out at 350 ppm without tanking PH, so she is stable here. PH is now swinging down fairly quickly last 12 hours. Drained off 1/3 of reservoir and get reservoir down to 250PPM. 5 days later, major PH swings down again. Mixed another fresh reservoir. I am using Zero Water 5 gallon system, and just realized the PPM coming out was 100, and PH at 3! If I am at 100 today, that means these filters have been shot for a while, maybe since start of my PH issue. There is also interesting information about when zero water filters reach their expectancy. They put out fishy smell and otherwise. I will be watching my filters more often and taking more notes since this ZeroWater 5 gal system is really the way to go if you are only growing a plant or two. Filters are a bit spendy but when you take time, gas, convenience etc. its a no brainer (if the water coming out is zero:) - I get about 15 gallons per filter (175ppm from tap). Day 70. It’s been about a day since new res change. Steady Eddie at 250 ppm and 6.2. I’ll let her drink the bucket down a good ways if things remain stable with a drift down. I doubt it though, 5 gallon is fine for 12” autos but at 2’ she really needed 8 gal. Time to up the R&D on the cabinet! Also checked Zero Water again and filter is now putting out 200ppm of 3.0 water. New filters installed! Hope she finishes soon, the top of her canopy slowly getting cooked over the last 10 days. 8" of light distance is too little. PPFD 2000+ at the top, but leaf temps are in the upper 70's. Gotta hit a decent DLI on these lower buds - without nuking the top nugs, right?! As the week concludes, she’s in a fresh bath, at 250ppm @ 6.0 and running stable again. New water filters installed so zero water variable removed. Last serving of half+ teaspoon of GH dry KB ripening, and will reduce ppm by 25/day until I reach 10-15%. 1-2 day flush, if at all.

One plant "lost" to budrot, luckily the only one which was 5 days older than all other 3. Budrot on 3 main buds, very early stages, noticed rather quickly as I'm a very alert person with stuff like this. Lost around 10% of infected and healthy material, and harvested early on around day 73. I lost around 2 weeks of weight gain & ripening with the early harvest, but I had to do it for the good of the other 3 plants. Infected plant was a Granite Haze F5, quick dry with wet trim to avoid more mold / rot. 5 days of drying at 20°C and 65% humidity, and light breeze of air. Final dry yield was 205g dry out of the second smallest autoflower here. Currently still in its curing stages, still a hay-ish smell to it because of the emergency dry, but I slowly get peppery notes, mixed with liqourice & ass. Yes it stinks. All other 3 plants are good so far, but this week doesn't have lots of images.

So we are entering week 6. Time pass fast! For me they are look good. 2nd light really helped, might be going a little crazy but i just got in my 200w spiderfarmer 😅 i thought they could use this extra boost of light for bloom. 9/18: New week...fed with Boomerang and Kangaroots 9/19: Applied Axiom harpin proteins and boomboom spray 9/20: Fed full strength TPS One...decent growth. The smaller one is less droopy now. 9/21: Tucked a few leaves and took some photos and a video. Looking good. Just a couple more days of 24/0... 9/22: Switched out the 560w of 5000k CCT lighting for 720w of 3000k CCT lighting and set the timer for 12/12. Decided against 13/11 with emerson effect...trying to save a few bucks on electricity. I'm keeping the lights at 30" from the tops for a day or two. 9/23: The girls loved their first night of sleep...so perky!

08/21/24. Going into week 8 flower Day 57 out of stated 64. So one week left exactly. I’m not sure on that. She’s still drinking at the same rate as usual, and there’s still quite a few white hairs. I’ll be looking at her trichomes today anyway, just to see where we’re at. Either way she’s getting just water from here on out. She’s dark af and has some nutrient burn anyway, so I’m sure she’ll be fine. She’s fattened quite a bit more than I expected. Seemed like her buds would be kinda long and skinnier. No complaints here though. She’s getting pretty damn frosty and sticky too. She has a kinda piney sweetish smell. Start the count down ⏰ See yuh ✌️

June 14: this Sunday Punch EV is a very fast growing plant that can handle some cool weather. The ruderalis genetics from the autoflower used to create this fast flowering (Early Version) add some toughness that make it well suited to short season areas. Likes to stretch too. 😎 it was to be a 16 cola manifold but it has grown so fast i realized I can also match another 8 colas from the next lower node. So i did that final round of topping this morning and we’ll see how it goes. Added second layer of Scrog net to stabilize it and keep the fan leaves from shading the growth tips. June 15: did the weekly foliar spray with Extreme Blend this morning. Rained last couple days which cleared the air of smoke and now it’s a nice sunny Sunday.

Week 7, the smell is super strong and the nuggs are hard as rocks, they are not too big they needed more P and i failed to supply it at the right time thats totally my fault but they suerly are more beautiful each day that passes, im glad they are good
