Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. Lineage: Chem Sis x Chocolate Diesel x Sour Dubb Popularity: Extremely Popular Flavor/Aroma Profile: Chocolate, Earthy, Fuel Yield: 400 g/m2 Stress Tolerance: High resistance to disease Potency: 24% THC Flowering time: 58 - 63 days The Soil: Those who saw my Monstercropped Gelato #33 grow (you should see it if you didn't, I'm so proud of that grow), know about my super soil and organic nutrients/ permaculture tea combo that starred in my previous diary. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! Very Nice looking and good Smelling Plant. Buds after Trim are medium dense but very tasty. Flavourwise it goes into ripe Berrys with a hint of Citrus and Soapyness in the background. The Plant looks exactly like on the pictures High-Giraffe-Seeds shows on their website. All in all definetly a recommendable Plant to grow.

This is my first grow and I’m excited to start. I will be growing in a space tote (2 50gallons stacked on each other with 2 150w lights and will be adding a 3rd soon ).Took the glookies seed 3 days to germinate via the paper towel method. Once it sprouted I immediately planted into its final home a 4 gallon pot. While the glookies were germinating I learned of a seed bank near my area which recently opened and they sold already rooted clones. So I purchased a doc og clone and planted it at the same time I planted the germinated glookies seed. I planted both and then watered until water started draining from the bottom. I used pride land’s premium potting soil as i was told that it stores enough nutes for 3 weeks.

First of all the plant is so strong after I have LST her all the way and tops and main line like wtf 🤪🤪 My trim of the buds gose fan leafs in the side and sweet leafs in the side and cut a litel for secend trim ( took me some time around 3 - 4 hours . P So I had some issue in the beging becuse I try to grow it in 24 h cycle light in the start it have made the plant dense but it slow down the growing for 2 - 3 weeks . In the end the results are amazing with the flux method ( I hope I did it right ) . Grate seed bank ! That color in the end just wow and even the lower buds get a pink color . Wet wight around 1.2 - 1.5 ( Human scale Lol ..) will update soon with more pic's . Roots are full its amazing ! And I 0did a good job . After the dry out ill do so aging . So came out with 200 grams in the end I have learn that the size is dosent metter 🤣 Becuse of 3 liter pot I made 180 but still it weird becuse in 10 liter I came out 300 . So the flux project went intresting and my last time im doing this grow flux..

Week Two: The seedlings received their first and second feedings of Innovating Plant Products. Along with one just a plain watering. (Feed / Feed / Water). The first feeding was on 5/21 of 900 ppm of the veg nutrient line. The pH was 6.3 The second feeding was on 5/24 of 700 ppm of the veg nutrient line. The was 6.4 After assessing the first feeding it was felt the PPM was a bit high for their first feeding. We could have easily done this in reverse order. On 5/26 the plants were given just plain water to finish out their week. One of the seedlings appeared to be a bit deformed and has since been tossed. This one seed didn't germinate well, but we thought we would give it go. Assessing the seedling we simply opted to pull it.

Will need to teat them and kill em all off if possible. The thrips are also outdoors on some of my plants, I feel they came from the bagged promix I got or they overwintered and travelled indoors. Light was a bit to strong at 100% when i grew taller, turned it down to 80%ish now till it starts to blooms. currently at 45cm hang height, Tent is having some issues with cooling down, even running the extractor is not doing much, so I prop the door open at the top and it helps vent it out. Maybe because of the vents the air is not circulating though and just travelling up one side of the tent, IDK. its a waste to run it past setting 5 on a 2x2 so the door will stay propped indefinitely. Still no smells unless I'm rubbing them, no signs of flower just yet, temped to top or LST but I think I'm going to let them go as is and get a good gauge on how they grow and yield. Looks like most of the stretch has stopped for both plants. There appear to be two slightly different phenos with one slightly taller than the other. The shorter one seems slightly further along with a bit more flower development and some frost starting to show. I've done a couple rounds of defoliation to get some better air flow and light to bud sites. I also went through and pinched off most of the lower bud sites that were not going to get sufficient light to develop.

Hey y'all! I'm back with an early update because my biggest two plants are flowering! Hindu Kush looks like she's gonna grow some really thick buds. I'm super excited to see it flower. The GSC pistils are some clear, some amber. It makes me really excited for how she's gonna look as she develops buds. I wanted to give a better tour of how the plants look so I took a video to share as well! I am super excited, and I'm starting to get impatient quite frankly! Lol! But really, I can't wait to watch my plants grow day in and day out. I need to find a way to control the humidity, as it is getting hotter in my home and when my tent is closed the humidity climbs up to 82% and some leaves that touch condensate on each other. Not good! I leave my tent open for hours at a time to tame the humidity but this is not a full time solution. if anyone has suggestions please let me know! I will be asking a question soon on it!

Thanks for checking out my grow! This is the 4th or 5th strain I’ve ran by 34 Street Seed Co. I have yet to be disappointed, great genetics for a fair price. This Pink Lemonade strain has tested in the 30% cannabinoid range with crazy terps, all from other Home Growers! This will be one of my submissions for the 2023- 34 Street Grow Cup, Can’t wait 🇨🇦👊❤️ I started as usual by soaking my seeds for about 6 hours in a glass of distilled water, then planted directly into the substrate about a 1/2 inch into the starter pot. I dialed my light back to about 100 watts from the wall, and raised it to about 40 inches above the pots. I covered the pots with domes, and set my humidifier to run non-stop. 30 hours later , they had all sprouted ❤️

Easy to grow, beautiful structure and plant. Big frosted, dense buds with very good odour 🤤. Would 100% recommend.

2/29 - 3/7: Thing started to shoot off very quickly, took the first batch of nutrients very very well so Im sticking around with the same thing for a little bit longer until shes big enough to where I think I can up it a little bit.

Repoted them into 5 litre pots from pot noodle cups , pulling top fan leaves still . The side branches are catching up slowly.
