LoccoMotive 🚀 It's happening again! Woop Woop 😁🔥 This run is going to be as experimental as ever – just the way I like it! 😄🌿 We're starting with a 40-liter fabric pot from Rooties – nice and big and breathable 💨. It's filled with ready Living Soil from Couple of Plants 🌱🔋 The pot is sitting in a saucer, and underneath is an aluminum turntable 🌀🔩. I've seen something like this with other growers – and it seemed very practical for me ✅🧠. 🌿 Two ladies, one pot! 👯‍♀️ This time I planted two plants directly in the same pot. Once again, it's a Fast Buds genetic – specifically 2× Guava Auto 🍈⚡. The germination was ultra-fast – under 24 hours! ⚡🌱 This clearly speaks to the quality of Fast Buds 💪🌿. 🔧 Setup changes? Just minor tweaks. Not much has changed in the setup itself 🔁. One thing though: My humidifier has been removed ❌💨. Why? Simple: We don't have an elevator – and carrying water all the time just became too much for me 😩. Maybe it's time for an osmosis system soon... 😪 So this time: 👉 No humidifier – less hassle, more focus on the essentials! 🎯✨

LoccoMotive 🌿 Let the games begin! 🎲🔥 My first Living Soil attempt is coming up! 🌱 I'm using a ready-activated mix from Couple of Plants (COP). Choosing the substrate wasn't easy for me, especially since I wanted to keep my budget as low as possible 💸🤔. COP isn't exactly cheap, but I thought: 👉 Let the pros handle it! I'm curious if I can really pull off a Only-Water-Run with this soil – just as the manufacturer promises 💧🌿. 🌱 Two are better than one! Since one plant felt a bit boring, I went ahead and planted two Guava Autos from Fast Buds in the pot 😄✌️. If my plan works out, I can nicely train them down later (LST) – all without ScrOG – and still make the best use of the tent 🎪🌿. I'm not a big fan of ScrOG 🕸️, especially since I prefer using a rotating pot. Unfortunately, both at the same time doesn't work 😅. Maybe I'll check if I can attach a ScrOG directly to the pot edge… but that's not a priority right now ⚙️🤷‍♂️. 📟 Blumat Digital – Trust is good, measuring is better! 🌡️📊 I've had my eye on the Blumat Digital for a while 👀. Once it was clear that I would be growing with Living Soil, this thing was a must ✅🌱. I was a bit skeptical at first 🤨, but a grow buddy has been using the Blumat for a long time and highly recommended it to me 🤝💬. And yes – so far everything is going great! 🙌 It's just a bit unusual to fully trust the thing… trust takes time ⏳🧠. The Blumat measures soil moisture in millibars (mbar) 🌡️: 👉 For our favorite plant, the value should be between 50 and 120 mbar. The higher the value, the drier the substrate 📈💨. This saves you from digging around in the mulch – very pleasant! 😎

LoccoMotive Week 2 A pretty normal 2nd week – at first glance. 👀 It seemed like the soil was a bit too hot for optimal growth 🌶️🌱. Or it could have been the quite high temperatures of up to 33 °C 🌡️🔥 – or a combination of both. But it doesn't seem to have had any serious effects ✅. 💧 Blumat and Water 💧 The Blumat Digital definitely makes a good impression 📟👍. It behaves just as you would expect. I occasionally test it again – but it has really surprised me positively. I hope it lasts a long time 🔋🧠. Currently, I'm watering with 2 L of water 💧. According to Blumat, always at 100–110 mbar. Then I usually end up around 50 mbar and wait again for 100–110 mbar 📉📈. The time in between will fluctuate later. Then I’ll have to water more often or more 💧. I also got myself a battery-powered watering lance for watering. 🙌 It was quite cheap and is really comfortable and practical. 💪 Climate Goals I have to say that I've partly given up fighting against the weather 🌬️😓. In my case, it’s hardly worth the effort – at least until just before and after the harvest. I also have the impression that the strong genetics can handle these conditions well 💪🌿. 📉🤷‍♂️ Effort and Benefit 📉🤷‍♂️ I've also decided to pay less attention to the values that I hardly manage anyway 📉🤷‍♂️. Of course, it's still far from ideal – I’m not going into this blindly 🧠🔍. Just more focus on the essentials, less number stress 🎯📊. Weed There are quite a few strange little plants growing from the surrounding soil in the pot 🌾. Some look really nice – like the garden mallow. I first pulled it out, then saw that it sparkles red at the bottom ✨🍁. Unfortunately, it doesn’t show well in the photos 📸👁️. I've started cutting back all the "weeds" repeatedly ✂️🌿. This way, I get more green mulch. I hope to support the Living Soil this way ♻️🍃. Less because of the plants themselves. 🎶 The Grow must go on! 🌱🔥

LoccoMotive 🌿 Week 3 Another pretty hot week. 🌡️🔥 🌱 Growth Both ladies have a nice growth and green tone. The initial slight burn has grown out perfectly. Now the Livingsoil should be able to do the job super well. They still look very identical. 💧 Only Water I decided to give my Livingsoil a little extra help. A grow buddy recommended various things that can be done. I then chose 2 products that won’t undermine my Only Water experiment: 🔹 Effective Microorganisms from Multikraft 🔹 Mycorrizae from R&R Both products are not considered fertilizers for the plant, but as boosters for the soil. Accordingly, this run can still be called Only Water. 💦✅ 📟 Blumat and Watering I’m getting more and more comfortable with the Blumat Digital. I wouldn’t know how to determine the watering time through the mulch without it. Digging around or lifting the pot is unfortunately not an option. ❌ That’s why I’m really glad it exists. 🙏 I continue to water according to the schedule: 🕒 Every few days at 110 mbar 🚿 2 l of water This time I mixed in some EM Soil Buster. With that, I inoculated the soil with additional mycorrizae. ☀️ Weather Considering it was comfortably over 33 °C for days 🌡️🔥 and I had no humidity support 💨❌ – both ladies look top-notch. ✅ Sometimes I think: “Oh God, is this going well?” 😅 But I’m going to let it happen. And so far, everything is going according to plan. 🛸✨ 🎶 The Grow must go on! 🌱🔥

LoccoMotive 🌿 Week 4 🌱 Growth & Training 🌱 It was time to start the training. 🔧🌱 The plan is to tie them down symmetrically so that I have most of the shoots at the same height. 📏 I hope they don’t get too much in each other's way – and that all the shoots come back up nicely. 🌞🌿 I did have a little breakage, though. 😬✂️ But I'm optimistic that it will heal. 💪🌱 Here and there, I also had to do some good defoliation again. 🍃✂️ I'm currently running about 300 PPFD and will only increase it slowly. 📉💡 This way, the shoots should keep reaching for the light – and come up. 🔝🌞 💧 Blumat & Watering 💧 I'm continuing to water according to schedule: 🕒 Every few days at 110 mbar 🚿 2 l of water ☀️ Weather 🌞 For a short time, the temperatures were almost normal warm again – around 26 °C. 😌🌤️ But then it went back up towards 30 °C and more... 🔥 🎶 The Grow must go on! 🌱🎵

LoccoMotive 🌿 Week 5 🌱 Growth & Training 🌱 The training is going fantastic – a daily, steady process. 😬✂️ Both ladies look completely healthy, with strong green leaves. 💪🍀 Even a half-broken shoot has recovered really well. 👌🌱 You can tell that one of the ladies is more dominant now. 👑🔥 The middle area is highly contested – maybe a bit too tight for two plants. 🤼‍♀️😨🌱 So, I did some serious defoliation and removed a few smaller shoots. ✂️🍃🗑️ Slowly, the entire space is filling up with an even canopy. 🌳💚 The stretch has begun – and all the shoots are really eager to reach for the sky! 🚀🌿🎯 💧 Living Soil – Only Water 💧🌍 As you can see: Not a single shoot or leaf with deficiencies. ✅🌱👌 The vegetative phase went absolutely smoothly – completely without temperature or humidity support. 🌡️💨❌ Just with a mix of distilled water and tap water. 💧🚰 🔄 Rotating Pot 🎥 I’m still a big fan of this solution! 😄👍 Not only does it create funny little videos, but it also helps tremendously with training. 📸✂️ I always make sure not to restrict the rotating function while shaping – it’s been working really well so far. 🔄✔️ 💡 Light & Shadow 🔆🌘 Throughout the week, I turned the light up to 400 PPF. 💡📈 This way, the shoots are actively reaching for light – but they’re not getting too little either. 🌞🌱➡️💥 💧 Blumat & Watering 💧🚿 🕒 Every few days at 110 mbar 🚿 2 liters of water each time 💦 ☀️ Weather 🌡️🔥 The temperatures have been (and are) brutal: 26°–33 °C. ☀️ But so far, it seems to be handling everything well. 😌🌿💪 🎶 The Grow must go on! 🌱🎵💚✨

LoccoMotive 🌿 Week 6 – Not a particularly good week 👺 🌱 Growth & Training Second week of flowering – and bam! Two promising shoots have fallen off. 😭 💀 I accidentally broke one off by hand (see video). 👉 The other one – and this annoys me even more – was the main shoot of the more dominant Guava. It broke off during daily LST. 😰 🔻 Estimate: Up to 10 g yield loss. 📊 Forecast The canopy now has two visible blemishes, but the rest is still developing solidly. Before the losses, my estimate was around 100 g yield. Now it’s going to be tough to hit that 100 g. 😕 💧 Blumat 💧 Just when I started to get used to the Blumat, it starts acting up. Suddenly, it began delivering way too dry. Quite strange. 😣 And I tried every workaround possible for a week. I was really disappointed... Now I have to go back to using my finger. 💩 💡 Light & Shadow PPFD is slowly increasing, step by step. 📈 Currently about 600 µmol/m²/s. The higher the shoots grow, the more light they get anyway. ☀️ ☀️ Weather The temperatures are and remain brutal: 25–31 °C The ladies are holding up bravely under these conditions. 💧 Watering 🕒 Every 2–3 days 🚿 2.2 l of water each time 🎶 The Grow must go on! 🌱

LoccoMotive 🌿 Week 6 – A development-rich 3rd flowering week 🌱 Growth Even though I lost 2 good shoots, ✂️ I'm super happy. 😄🍀 Both plants look amazing despite all the odds. 💪🌱 We're definitely heading towards harvest. 🍂✂️ 🌱 Living Soil Since this run is coming to an end soon, 📅 I need to think about preparing well for the next grow – especially regarding the soil life. 🌏 But also concerning the available nutrients. A treatment with worm humus and rock dust + compost tea shower ☕💧 should be enough to be ready for the next complete run. 🛡️🌱 💡 Light & Shadow PPFD is slowly increasing, step by step. 📈 Currently about 700 µmol/m²/s. The higher the shoots grow, the more light they get anyway. ☀️🌿 ☀️ Weather The temperatures are and remain brutal: 25–31 °C 🌡️🔥 The ladies are holding up bravely under these conditions. 💪 💧 Watering 🕒 Every 2–3 days 🚿 2.2 liters of water each time 💦 🎶 The Grow must go on! 🌱✨

LoccoMotive 🌿 Week 8 - First Harvest Week - So Young and Yet So Mature ️🌿 🌱 Growth You can clearly see now that the "smaller" plant is in a big hurry. 🏃‍♀️💨 The dominant lady, on the other hand, is taking her time with her buds. ⏳🌸 But for both ladies, it's impressive for their 8–9 weeks. 🌟 Looking back, I probably should have done a bit more lollipopping. During the harvest, a few shoots came to light that didn't develop very well. As is typical with Fastbuds, there are many qualitatively awesome buds. I can't wait to snack on them. 😋 But now that I've harvested the first lady, I've realized that 100g might have been a bit optimistic. 😬 I hope I can at least hit 80g somehow. 😹 🌱 Living Soil What you can also see are deficiencies. 😰 It could be due to the 2 plants in the same pot. Especially with such fast-growing autos, the nutrient distribution might have been disrupted. 😵 It could also be that the soil was already quite depleted due to the double planting. It might also be that the microorganisms couldn't keep up quickly enough. 😪 Since I had many red stems as well as rust spots on the leaves, and some leaf rot, it must mainly be a phosphorus deficiency. 👉 💡 Light & Shadow PPFD 📈 Currently about 900 µmol/m²/s. ☀️ Weather The temperatures are and remain brutal: 27–34 °C 🌡️🔥 💧 Watering 🕒 Every 2–3 days 🚿 2.2 liters of water each time 💦 🎶 The Grow must go on! 🌱✨

LoccoMotive 🌿 Week 8 - Second Harvest Week ️🌿 🌱 Growth🌱 Lady 2 was harvested at the end of week 9, so after almost 10 weeks. She yielded more than expected, coming in at 47g for plant number 2. That means a total of 83g. The deficiencies are hardly noticeable anymore. I’m convinced that the plant couldn’t reach its full potential in the end. Still, many good buds made it, and the rest looks smokable too 😋 🌱 Living Soil🌱 I’m somewhat satisfied with the soil. But considering the circumstances and the actually too small bed for two plants, I can still count myself lucky. Maybe next time just one plant 😜 Maybe I also did something wrong here and there. The Blumat let me down in the middle of the run. Maybe it was a bit too dry now and then, especially in the second half of the run. Before I start the next grow, I’ll need to address that. 💡 Light & Shadow PPFD 📈 towards the end was about 950 µmol/m²/s. ☀️ Weather The temperatures are and remain brutal: 25–31 °C 🌡️🔥 🎶 The Grow must go on! 🌱✨

My friend I think we are very similar people, at least in our experimentation with cannabis growing. I have also grown plants in the same pot many times before, and I enjoy excerimenting with different types of grow. Nice little grow and congrats on making it to harvest. 🎶 The Grow must go on! 🌱🎵💚✨ 🎶 The Grow must go on! 🌱🎵💚✨ 🎶On a windowsill, to grow's my thill, I have to find the will to carry on with the, on with the, on with the GROOOOWWWWWW. 🌱🎵💚 ✨ P.S. All soil is living soil. If it isn't living, it isn't soil.
