420Fastbuds FBT2310/Week5 What up grow fam. Sorry for the late weekly update but was having some technical difficulties. This week has been eventful to say the least. My heater went out letting my Temps drop to high 40'f for a night or two and wow did the plants tell me they're angry. Definitely starting to bounce back but just goes to show the reselants of Fastbuds genetics. I lollipoped and did one more defoliation this week so hopefully flower stage will be smooth sailing. Alright so i got some guanokalong products to try from my local grow shop, i hope it doesn't screw the plants 🙈 after the last update last week we placed some powders on the soil so lets see how it goes the next weeks! The strain is doing great, lots of short internodes with big long branches, these plants are full of bud sites! I never tried a kosher strain before but i do think that this seed bank has a great genetics here, im thinking to monster crop this girls to continue the legacy 💪👌

I love this pheno compared to the other hard diesel pheno #2 this one has a beautiful structure, and the buds are very dense hard and sticky as hell, the aroma it's really strong and stinky, I would definitely run her again, gea seeds always provides high quality strains and seeds to the growers! D61 (21/01/2021): First day for week 5 of flowering. It's incredible how the buds are forming and getting bigger. It easily doubled (if not more) in size in the last 7 days. Since beginning of bloom, I normally gave water every other days. I make sure the soil is dry and the pots feel light when I lift them before giving any water. But it's not ideal cause it means that the plant drank all the water at his disposal and maybe it missed some. I will try a different watering schedule by giving water every 36 hours instead of every 48 hours. I will still make sure the soil his not wet and the pot not heavy (soil full of water) when I will give water. At this stage, they need a lot of nutrients to produce big buds. I will give nutrients every other feeding and only Max Minerals the others. Today I gave 1/2 of the recommended dose of Max Minerals. - temp: 24-26C light ON ; 21-22C light OFF - water: PH6.3 , 329PPM , less then a gallon each - run off: PH6.9 and 1090PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH6.9 and 940PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 50% light ON ; 48-49% light OFF D62 (22/01/2021): Nothing special for today. The lamps are now at 12 inches from higher colas. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 20-21C light OFF - no water - RH: 50-52% light ON ; 48-52% light OFF D63 (23/01/2021): I gave full dose of Max Minerals and Max Bud and 1/2 of Max Grow. All base on mid late flower recommended dose. Relative humidity % was difficult to maintain low last night. It is normal since I give water more often. I removed leaves to help reduce humidity. They say 65-75 day from seed. My girls are not ready. I guess maybe 2 more weeks. The trichomes are all cloudy for Glue Gelato and 90% cloudy 10% clear for Banana Kush. I think it is time to start flushing. I will only give tap water at proper PH for the next 10-14 days and keep looking at trichomes. I consider also reducing air temperature and humidity for the rest of the grow. We are getting close! 😍😎 - temp: 24-26C light ON ; 20-22C light OFF - no water - RH: 49% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D66 (26/01/2021): I decided not flushing today. I gave only full dose of Max Bud. Glue Gelato is getting very frosty! She has approximately 50% white pistils and 50% brown pistils but she keep growing new pistils. Banana Kush is less frosty but thicker and look a bit behind in maturity compared with Glue Gelato. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 21-22C light OFF - water: PH6 , 440PPM , less then a gallon each - run off: PH6.8 and 930PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH6.8 and 1220PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 48% light ON ; 47-50% light OFF D67 (27/01/2021): The electric breaker where all the equipment of my tent is plug tripped. It took me around 20 min to notice it. During that time the relative humidity % went up around 75%. I don't think it will cause anything bad but I wanted to document it. I started the flush today by giving tap water at proper PH. The tap water of my city is around 130-140 PPM. I always let it sit in a bucket for 24h. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 20-21C light OFF - water: PH6, 135PPM, less then a gallon each - run off: PH6.9 and 625PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH6.9 and 725PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 48% light ON ; 52-55% light OFF

this is a pretty low risk, high reward strain as far as growing goes. this cut has a uniquely tart flavor, and has potent effects with a high ‘roof’ to the buzz. reputable strain for sure, hesitate not to consider for your garden.

Small review on the viparspectra v300 that I used, maybe it can be usefull If someone are looking for a budget light: Cons: -it's noisy! if you are growing in your bedroom or living room etc.. keep it in mind. -the spectrum it's poor, lot of blue n little red, no green, yellow, orange, uv etc.. -it covers a little less than what the vipar claim. Pro: -among the made in china's led is one of the best built and has a long and reliable warranty period. -it's really good for vegetative. -it's very cheap to conclude, it will grow your plant quite well but do not expect super results.

Pollination is well underway. The ladies are prego and the seeds are developing very rapidly! A few of the first flowers to get hit have there flower bracts already torn open. Exposing the growing seeds(still very green and immature). They are coating there flowers with protective trichomes like crazy! Sucess. All three ladies I have in there are heavily seeded! Now I'm watching them work their magic. Producing me some new killer crosses to phenohunt. The male flowers have been dried and stored. I'm slowly sifting the pollen into a vile. Whenever I get a chance to play with pollen lmfao. I've only made a dent in my freezer bag supply. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

5/23/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Flower (Day 110 overall) (Day 49 of Flower) There was a couple of small super small sucker buds on the lower stocks that needed to be cleaned off but that was it. Just watching them Flower!! 5/24/2023 Week 7- Day 2 of Flower (Day 111 overall) Tucked a few fan leaves below lower buds but didn't see any blatant offenders that needed to be removed. I typically do start my checks in Week 8 but since this is a new strain I decided to go ahead and do a Trichome check just to see what was what.. Just as I thought nothing but clear glassy Trichomes. I will check again in one week.... 5/25/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Flower (Day 112 overall) Just letting them grow today!! Smell is getting stronger I would say it is a hint of Pine and a heavier fruity smell. 5/26/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Flower (Day 113 overall) I did Nothing but took some pics and I enjoyed it!!!! It is nice to be able to just sit back and watch them on auto pilot.. :-) Tomorrow Water Change Day!! 5/27/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Flower (Day 114 overall) I admit it.. I had to defoliate a little bit.. I looked in while changing the water today and there were just a couple blatant offenders blocking the light from lower bud sites and those leaves they just had to go. Other than that I changed the water and this week is where I drop everything and start preparing them for this last phase of the grow. Loving a few of these buds they are starting to beef out very nicely. Other than that I took off a few little sucker buds trying to form. I did start to setup my Dry space as well as did a Trichome Check today and the brown tips are coming in nicely. 5/29/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Flower (Day 116 overall) Found a few baby sucker buds trying to form so I removed them. Other than that I am enjoying watching her mature. I also started my Reverse of the Clone I took 6 weeks ago in Apr from #3. Week 4 - It’s Friday again, and that means it's update day! Another week has passed, and as usual, there's plenty to report. A lot has happened, and once again, I’m bringing you along on my journey as a total beginner in the world of growing. Every week is a new learning experience, and I’m excited to share what’s been going on in the tent as my Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies continue to grow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 43-55% -VPD: Max 1.4 -Airflow: Always active at level 1, auto-adjusts when needed -Day Temperature: 25-26°C -Night Temperature: 22°C -Light Cycle: 20 hours light / 4 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) Watering Schedule: -Day 24: 1 liter -Day 26: 1 liter -Nutrients are applied with every watering Light Adjustments: -Light distance now at 50 cm -Intensity increased to level 10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Growth Update The most noticeable change this week has been the incredible growth of the plants. I’ve uploaded some new photos for everyone to see, and it’s amazing how much they’ve shot up compared to last week. The differences in growth behavior between the Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies are becoming even more pronounced. The Amnesia Zkittlez has more than doubled in height since last week, shooting up and stretching outward. Meanwhile, the Gorilla Cookies hasn’t grown as much in height, but it has become noticeably rounder and bushier, almost like a pufferfish. It's fascinating to watch these plants develop in such different ways. While the Zkittlez focuses on vertical growth, the Gorilla Cookies is spreading out horizontally, forming a dense, compact structure. All around the plant, small flower sites are emerging, extending from within the plant and beginning to take shape. This difference in growth styles really highlights the unique characteristics of each strain, and I’m excited to see how they continue to evolve. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training: LST and Defoliation This week, I’ve also focused heavily on training the plants using Low-Stress Training (LST) and some selective defoliation to optimize light exposure and encourage better growth. I applied LST more aggressively over the past few days, using clips to gently bend the stems of individual branches outward, almost to a 90-degree angle. This technique has helped the plants spread out horizontally, allowing more light to reach the inner and lower branches. I’ve been adjusting the clips nearly every day to refine the structure and ensure that the light penetrates deeper into the canopy. The goal is to encourage outward growth and create more space for the lower branches to thrive. In addition to LST, I began selectively removing leaves. I started with the first set of fan leaves, followed by leaves growing inward toward the plant’s center. These were either shading promising bud sites or simply not contributing to the plant’s energy needs. I’ve also removed the lower bud sites, which likely wouldn’t have developed into anything substantial. This way, the plants can focus their energy on the more promising, higher-up buds that are receiving better light. Throughout the defoliation process, I’ve been careful not to remove too many leaves at once. I’ve only taken off leaves that were either blocking key bud sites or were small and shaded, ensuring that the plant still has enough foliage to continue its healthy growth. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nutrients and Watering Routine There haven't been any changes in my nutrient schedule or the way I water the plants this week. I’m still using the same BioBizz nutrients at the recommended dosages with each watering, and the watering process itself remains unchanged. Each plant receives a consistent 1 liter of water every couple of days, and so far, the plants are responding well. However, based on some recommendations I’ve received, I’m planning to introduce CalMag from BioBizz into my watering routine over the course of the next week. This will help ensure that the plants have enough calcium and magnesium, which are essential for strong cell structure and nutrient uptake, especially as we move further into the flowering phase. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Reflections and Lessons Learned As I progress through this grow, I’m realizing how much more there is to learn, especially when it comes to managing light exposure and training techniques. It’s been rewarding to see how the plants respond to LST and defoliation, but I’m still figuring out the perfect balance. Every small change seems to make a big difference, and I’m constantly amazed by how quickly these plants adapt. Being a beginner, this process has been both challenging and exciting, and I can’t wait to see how the flowering stage develops. This journey has been a humbling experience, reminding me that growing plants isn’t just about following steps, but also about observing and learning from the plants themselves. Every day brings new insights and challenges, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see these changes reflected in the health and growth of the plants. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking Ahead In the next week, I’ll continue to monitor the pre-flowering phase closely. I expect the water and nutrient demands to increase even more as the plants transition into full flowering, so I’m preparing to increase the watering amount to 1.2 liters per plant soon. I’ll also be keeping an eye on the structure of the plants, especially the differences between the Gorilla Cookies and Amnesia Zkittlez. I may begin defoliating some of the lower leaves to give the plants more room to breathe and allow light to penetrate deeper into the canopy. There’s a lot of excitement ahead as the flowering phase approaches, and I’m eager to see how the plants respond to these new stages of growth.
