The Gorilla girls all popped the soil overnight from potting. Day 1 with a bang. lol The cheese broke on the second evening and even now at day 11 , 2 are still struggling to escape the soil fully. Frustrating to watch helplessly. The Gorilla girls are all nice and settled in on day 11 ( today) . I am watering occasionally and keeping it wider than the plugs width to encourage the roots to explore out. The Amnesia are still dormant so I have excluded them from rhe grow this far. dissapointed is not the word and no idea why they failed so badly ??. The potential growers are settling in now so hopefully a good weeks growing will bring them to heel.

2nd October 2018 - Day 99 Burn slows down Third day of flush and she starts to thicken up. Day 100 - Sweet smell begins as she starts to mature. Day 103 - Begining to mture and dense. Day 104 - Water added and pH balanced 5.4 Day 105 - Last week of Flush

So, she is more than 10 weeks old now, so according to Fast Buds, she should be ready by now. But I already realized, looking through other diaries here, that the time the plant takes depends on the conditions. From how the buds look, I would still give her almost two weeks. Let's see. In general, I guess, it shows that our light is not ideal for bloom, because definitely buds are not fattening up as they could. Unfortunately I noticed some dry and curled up smaller leaves, I will add a grow question about those.

I know that it may seem like a lot of nutrients at first. It’s not. A lot of those mycorrhizae ingredients are mixed into my soil well before the germinated seed goes into the pot. I make my own mix of soil using some of those ingredients. I like to use the great white mykos because of its powders consistency. Makes it easy for a clean transport from germinated bean to its forever home. For watering, they have been given only plain RO water with a neutral ph. Just yesterday I gave them a little tiny mix of Medusa’s magic, Zeus juice, and Gaia mania. I have used Oregon’s only brand products for a while now and I absolutely love them and better yet, I understand them. They have responded super well already to their first drink of bottled nutes with a ph of 6.3 . I’m keeping a RH between 50 and 60%. I’m also keeping a temp during the day at around 78-81°f. Right now I’m not worried about a night time temp but I do run cooler lights for about 4 hrs every day, dropping to around 70-75°f. Eventually I will add my second light boosting me from 600w too 1200w. Also they will begin a 20-4 hr light cycle. I find these autos do amazing with a little rest for 4 hrs. Allows me to pull more resin and color in later stages of life by dropping the temp lower than usual with the lights off. Fast Buds Mexican Airlines Auto Left Rear This is the shortest of the four plants. It’s got a lot of tops and starting to bud. The leaves at the top are starting to sparkle and it’s very sticky. I tried to get it in the photo, maybe zoom in to see the sparkle. I haven’t been able to trim much because of the bigger plants around it but it seems to be doing well.

This week I assembled the new 48x48x80 Mars Hydro tent and installed the new FOHSE Aries 600W LED light. I set the dim to 75%, but after two days, it was clearly too much, especially for 20 hours per day. I will dim it way down and shorten the hours until the plants appear to be doing better.

Week 4 (Day 28) Flower- stacking nicely, not a whole lot of weight yet but they are filling out the canopy pretty evenly. The lower bud sites are starting to come up now even with the majority, but there are a few over achievers 🤤 Starting to get some frost, and there is a weak/faint smell. Smells the best right when the lights come on 😎
