Qaggy Really enjoying my first grow. Bought a tent and set it up today as the wardrobe wasn’t the best space.
I was wondering if anyone can help me as my plants are quite small and bushy? I have lst them last week as I’ve read a few times that it’s the best for autos. Any tips and advice would be hugely appreciated :)
Ps, I’m using my organic comfrey tea that’s been fermented in water for 4 weeks. This is by far the best Fertiliser in the garden and thought I would use it for my first grow. Also I have nettle tea that’s been fermented for 5 weeks. This is great for nitrogen.
She's not stretching much because she doesn't need too. Your lights are close enough.. if you want her to space out a bit more just back your lights up some and she will stretch out looking for that light.. My girls did the same thing till i backed my lights up a bit.. Hope this helps! Happy growing! 👊
Hey man. Been looking into that myself. Making a fermented plant juice with it seems to be pretty cool. You use that with equal parts organic sugar and let that set for 30 days or so. You that mix that with water a and feed. I make my own compost teas and enzymatic teas
Ever tried that?
I think it may also be pest related. Check the underside of the leaves. If it was a nitrogen defeciency it would start at the bottom and quite rare for a plant your size that looks nitro healthy. If it was a calmag issuse it would be more on the upper leaves and looks slightly different. Are you checking ph? Raising your plant to lamp x distance may improve the height of your plant. 🌱👍
Not N if it is upper/newer leaves. That'll start low and yellow from tips in... just for future refrence. Think spyder has the best thing to try first.
the holes are concerning. pests? if not necrotic.
Spyder is correct but I think it is stemming from a ph issue. If your in soil I think you want to be a little higher than 6.2. 6.5 to 6.8 for proper uptake in veg I think. Haven't grown in dirt for quite some time. Cheers
I’m growing completely organic, using comfrey and nettle tea. I’m wanting to use some organic molasses and wondering if anyone can tell me how much to use?
Qaggy The girls seem to have grown a fair bit this week. I was advised to lift my light a bit to get them to stretch more as they were very shrub like. Seems to be working. They have started flowering now so added molasses to the feed. Oh is at a steady 6.8 as I was getting some colour change on the leaves of 1 plant. Seems to have sorted it. The puncture holes I’m guessing was from me manhandling whist lst with wire. No signs of pests.
It it wise to trim these? They are autos and heard they don’t bounce back quick enough. They do seem to be producing a lot of veg. And they are now about 5 days into flower.
Hi!
I think she's looking pretty good atm and ther dont seem to be leafs blocking anything important so i think you should leave the leafs for it now so she can grow to be one big bush!
Qaggy So I’m cutting back on the nutes for a while. Think I’ve been over doing it with them. Not much growth and waiting for them to stretch but it’s not happening. Got my light at 2ft but still no go. Don’t think I will be yielding much from these girls but will keep with them.
Is there a reason why I’m not getting these girls to stretch? Seems like everyone else has bigger growth at this age. Lights are at 2ft, 200w led. Or is it a bad strain? Pleaseee help.
Well it seems like ur tieing ur girls down vigorously. This type of training inhibits the plants ability to "stretch" and get vertical. Training methods like urs is to promote a shorter bushier robust plant. As your encouraging horizontal growth and not allowing it to go upwards. You seem to be in the transition into bloom. This is when the plant "stretches" the most. But u have her locked into place. Restricting her growth. If u want her to stretch her branches out. Let the ties loose now that u have them where u want them. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
Qaggy Gave them all a defol as they was getting to bushy at the bottom.
They all look great apart from number 3. I can’t seem to perk her up. Tried straight water for a week, ph is 6.3. Then tried her with nutes but nothing’s making her happy. Think she’s just 1 of them doom and gloom girls, we all have known them haha.
Seems like number 3 isn’t picking up, whatever I do. Distilled water for a week, nutes and calmag the next. She seems like she isn’t snapping out of her depression. Can anyone shine some light? I’m stumped? She’s just wilting constantly.
Hey, bro! Your girl is having a hard time breathing, 60% humidity and she's suffocating! Make sure to bring in some fresh air and increase the exhaust power, the humidity level will normalize, and she'll feel better! Try to lower the humidity to 40% 👌😇👍 Good luck, bro!
Qaggy So I have 1 girl completely into her flower. 1 Girl preflowering, looking forward to seeing this 1 as she’s a fat girl already. And girl 3 is still playing up. Tried flushing with biosys, she picked up then went down heavy with a lot of yellowing. Now thinking it could be N deficiency. Gave her a light foliar feed with algemic. Hope she improves in the next few days. Not expecting a lot from her now as she’s been under the weather for a long time now.
Really need some advice on plant 3. She is now showing a lot of yellowing on bottom leaves. But now starting to move up to the top leaves. Can anyone help me get her better? Don’t like seeing her like this. I thought it was lockout at first but looks more like an N deficiency.
Hey, buddy! 👋
You fed her nitrogen in week 5-6 and she was very vibrant in color. In week 7 and 8, she showed a phosphorus deficiency (red stems on the leaves).
Solution to the problem:
adjust the nutrients in the watering
heaven - 2 ml/l
gro - 0.3 ml/l
bloom - 3 ml/l
cal/mag - 1 ml/l
Good luck, bro! ✊😇
Qaggy First girl fattening up nice. She just wants more.
Second girl is on her way to be a beast. She’s twice the size of now more than the first. Had to bring her down a touch with some lst.
Third (depressed) girl is still with us. Tried a few things with her, flushed her, water conditioned her. Gonna get her back on some food in the next few days and see how she does. Again, not expecting much from her but seeing how she pans out. She has taken me on an emotional rollercoaster 😭
I’ve been bubbling my organic fertiliser for 48 hours and it’s a nice froth on top. The ph is 8.2. Shall I ph down or will my soil amend to what it wants to be at? Or shall I just make a new mix? Cf is 1.4
Hey Growmie,

Perhaps the most quiet tabletop fan available on the market today, this Turbo Silence fan from Rowenta brings all the power with none of the noise. Hopefully this was helpful and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.
Qaggy No much to say about this week. Sick girl still has her ups and downs. I put a dehumidifier in the room today and set it on 50%. Hopefully that will make her feel better. Other 2 are fine. Nice pine/citrus aroma in the room now.

Qaggy Had a great week with these girls. Had the dehumidifier on for 2 days and the sick girl came back to life. She couldn’t breath. Super happy she is budding nice. Pant 1 is the first to finish. She has been on flush this week and I will harvest her on Sunday. The other 2 will have another week or 2 before they are ready.

Qaggy Harvested 1 plant. Still have the bigger 2 to fatten up a bit more. I’m guessing another 2 weeks before they are ready.
Just a waiting game now.
Plant 1 seems to be drying nicely. Looking forward to getting the cure on and bringing them terpenes out.
So plant 1 was the first to be ready. She fattened you nicely in the last week with nice milky tricromes with a 30% amber. Tried the smoke and was nice for the first harvest.
I dried it for 8 days with a temp at 18.5c and 60rh. It’s curing nicely.
Just waiting for the other 2 to finish up. They are taking a bit longer than expected, but are a lot bigger than this one.
