Hey guys, it's been a great journey but I've finally hung my Stardawg out to dry! Yesterday was their last day totalling 8 weeks on flower. Realistically they could have benefited from a further week because the lower buds are somewhat underdeveloped but then I would risk losing the preferred sweet high smoke of the top buds. With this being my first attempt it's been a great learner not only for how to care for the plants but also the environment. As soon as these went into flower and started stretching I knew that putting 6 in a 2.4 x 1.2m tent was a bad idea. They just got so big which is the cause of the lower sites not being as good as the top colas. Despite that I'm really happy with the outcome and I'm hoping ive got 30oz+ of real good quality nugs. All of the top colas have turned a gorgeous violet colour too which you can see on the pictures and I absolutely love. For my next grow I've gone with 6 fastbuds strains which hopefully will go under a scrog. Check back next week for the harvest and weigh in!

So I found this elastic SCROG wasn't doing for me ... so I just took it off . Lucky I'm working with a VERY resilient strain as it was cloned from a mother whom in which was the survivor of my 75 plant loss. So this this was burnt to a crisp without water for a little over 14 DAYS . So I wouldn't try this with anything I wasnt sure could "take the heat" . With it off the buds just kinda flopped a bit but still retained alot of resilience; the beautiful things . Now I could name about 100 things I could have done better . But if you think your "the best grower ever " that's a pretty used minded way to look at it . But am I proud of myself . Yeah :) - slow down feed to leave terp at end . Temperature fluctuations between 18c and 24c whilst lights are on even with a heater in there. Also putting the humidity up higher into the high 60’s which is not ideal.

Ok, so this week I have put a microscope to the girls and the tops are showing a hell of a lot of amber so I have taken the tops off of them all to dry. Underneath is still more undeveloped so will leave the rest a while longer. No nutes the past week and not gonna add any more.

First week of flowering was interesting, started scrOG training looks like I’m exposing the plant to grow more cola’s crossing my fingers on this. The aroma of the plant is starting to get stronger.

Day 56 from seed(16flowering) Smoothie by name smoothie by nature !. She has been so easy to work with and train to this point and her smell is very sweet up close. #1 The Los girl is huge. she has sites throughout her structure that are developing nicely together. I expect she would have been a very big plant without the lst and would have outgrew my room very quickly. Buds are slowly developing and I expect she has at least another 3-4 weeks before harvest. #2 coco and mc have been keeping her happy. despite the poorly appearance of her mottled damage and some.dying lower leaf from before , she is growing well. her structure is natural and no ties or last at all so she is taller than her sisters. lots of sites on her so let's see what she does. #3 is one of the smaller girls in the grow and now moved into the middle to bathe her in more light. she has sites poking out of her low canopy so should still be a decent yield. Well this was my second seed I had too pop as the very one did not germinate , so she is 1 week behind the rest of my garden , but thankfully this pip popped within days , very excited about this one as I've never seen let alone smoked red bud before eeeek !!

The plant is developing well after pruning. its branches grew well. I removed the first node as they were small.

week 6 and the smell is amazeballs. A ton of bulking happening this week. Will likely take this to 8 weeks and maybe a half week of flushing. Trichromes showing small amounts of cloudiness. Pumped!!

I accidentally snapped a main branch off attempting to lst she is still the gassiest in the tent and the most frosty..this is my first grow I plan to harvest her in 2 weeks

Beginning of week 4 so far so good. The girls are reacting well to there training. Vita race from plagron is a game changer. They are super green and healthy everytime I feed them you see the difference.Did some defoliation. Nothing major just removed any leaf overlapping or blocking light to lower parts of the plant.

This is a cross I am testing. I am using a "hempy bucket" style grow. It is a drain to waste system that uses 80% perlite and 20% vermiculite as the grow medium. I will use these solo cups for the first couple weeks and up pot from there. I like to keep my growing simple and fairly inexpensive, I will use General Hydroponics for the entire grow except for the cal-mag. My intentions are to use the 10 week standard feed schedule made for these nutrients unless I run into some major issues.

I still found a few places with bud rot and I keep removing every spot I see. The plants have been doing fine beside that, they are looking and smelling great, they are super dense and I can't wait for them to be ready. Most trichomes are still clear so I am awaiting for the first ambers to show up, aiming for around 5% amber and 95% milky.
