I’m still removing some leaves everyday, I prefer only removing a few leaves but instead of taking just the lowest ones I pick some from every part of the plant. I’ve had good results so far with giving the lower buds a bit more light through this “method”. I’ve seen a lot of online tutorials recommend exclusively removing leaves from the lowest 2-5 sections and a lot in one setting but rarely instead. What’s your experience with defoliation? Do you prefer one or another method? I’m currently watering once per week, giving her 5-7 liters with fertilisers over a few hours. She’s only getting watered again when the substrate is dry in the first few inches. I’m thinking about getting a cloth-pot for the next grow for better oxygen supply. Also, it’s way too early to take a look under the microscope but I think I’ll take one anyways. see ya

Hello! We are in week 7 now. Girls going so well, they looks so happy :) They get more light from yesterday I hang mh ts 600 so all together is 50k lumens now :) So proud of them atm and hopefully will be like that until the end :) how do you like my grow? Let me know what you thinking :) thanks for your attention! Take care guys! Update Day 45 i found a little dark points on some od the leafs. I recive its cal and mag deficiency. I check soil pH was 5.9 🙈 i rise it up to 6.5 and waiting for results:)

LA is doing lovely, she's was originally the tallest but after folding her like a lawn chair after a big day on the beers her upward growth has slowed right down and she's starting to push outwards like I was anticipating. LA punch is an unreleased genetic from Cali connection. I suggest if you top her to top her once. Relax on the defoilation and let her grow out. She is quiet compact and wants to stay together so you need to try and be forceful to get your way but do be careful. Doesn't like stress in the sense of defoilation and topping early on but handles high PH, high EC and high temperatures so far but obviously not for long otherwise you can seriously stunt your ladies. Light went from 60% to 90% over Week 5 to Week 6, next 2 days she'll be at 100% ready for flowering. 2 set AC infinity bar lights will go in over this week as well as my scrogg net. Hi grow Buddies. It has been a steady week while watching them swell slowly ( never feels fast enough !!) . I have switched to the Dragon force to feed them extra during the last 2 weeks. it boosts the final phase instead of the starving out or flushing myth robbing the final yield.lol I began taking the branches that were very ready off the #1 lady at 8 weeks and have used about 15g from week 8. not a bad start but I rush dried it and did lose a lot of terps and potency as I expected. I also took most of her tops put to encourage the lowers to boost to a finish with the extra light available to them. I got approx 17g off the 4 mains I topped and that's not too bad for the 1st batch at 9 weeks f. I now have bud to smoke again , yippee. been a sparse month or so .haha. The rest of the girls are still going towards a finish but swelling nicely so I expect they will bring a good yield on the whole. Another week at least I think. until then , be safe and well. love the world and the people in it regardless of their feelings !.

Wonderful strain from Fastbuds. Strong and reliable. Hits your brain like a sativa and your shoulders like an indica. Love this high. Surely a night time smoke. I also have to thank this site for letting me discover really expert people and good cultivation techniques, surely without it I would have had less knowledge and the result would have been affected. Feeding full strength at lights on and off with about 20% run off. Defoliated a few fan leaves as the stems purple. They are filling in well now with almost every leaf/bud covered in trichomes.

Partially drained the tank at the start of the week and topped up with ro water and 1ml of final solution per Litre. Last 2.5 days were in darkness. I trimmed the majority of fan leaves before hanging up to dry in the tent today. Started out trimming with the plants in the tent and soon realised it would be much easier to just cut them down whole, hang them upside down outside the tent and trim them up a bit. I have a small dehumidifier and a small fan heater setup in the tent and they have been keeping a humidity level of about 60% and a temp of 16 Celsius for the last few days while the lights have been off. I figure that's a good starting point for drying and I can increase the temperature if needed, that will drop the humidity also. Intake fan at the bottom and extract fan at the top are running constantly as they have been since the grow started (low power 4" fans). I might add back in a fan for circulation depending on how the drying goes, or maybe even trim or hang the plants better to get more airflow around the buds

Another wonderful week. Recovery from the topping has been superb. She has grown quite a lot. As of 5/2/21 she will be leaving the veg tent and moving to the bloom tent where she will spend the next 8.5 weeks with another plant, Cotton Candy. The tent received an upgrade to a third TS1000 for the 2 plants. Hope is enough for now.

The week went pretty well. I cut off a couple more fan leaves that were just looking pretty sad and were blacking the branches anyways. Also, I transplanted it to the 2.2 gallon Airpot on Friday. It seems to be taking to its new home well. I think it was rootbound and that was part of the problem I’ve been having. The plant grew 2 inches this week so despite the issues I’ve been having the plant is still growing and is actually looking pretty good again. My main concern now is that the tent is too small. I have the light as high as the pulley allows and it is now about 12 inches away from the plant. I should have been training this sideways and topping it earlier. Lesson learned for next time, if I can’t control the height I may need to force flowering early.

Just started the flush for the final week. The plant should start finishing with in the next week and I'll pull it down and replace it with the next crop.
