Plants are thriving, starting to see more and more buds. Trying to kep the humidity in the 60s seems to be the sweet spot. Have really takes down my base as have increased bloom nutrients.

Stick a fork in her, she's done. Look at the timelapse how she goes yellow very quickly! Shortly after these pics she was harvested. I note she is VERY sticky.

The pistils on all plants are getting more and more brown, its time to check the trichomes now. I check with a handheld microscope and they are getting milky, but not yet amber, which means they are ALMOST READY TO HARVEST, but not yet. The amount of crystals produced under the Q6W-Gen.2 LED-lamps from SANlight is astounding, the plants are coated in trichomes! This week I stopped giving any nutrients in order to FLUSH the plants, this is VERY IMPORTANT in order to get a smooth smoke of the dried end-product. The aroma of the plants is VERY STRONG NOW, they smell mouth-watering. The Shiva Skunk has a sweet, musky smell with a fresh citrus note to it, its a delight to smell those plants. The Serious Kush smells EXTREMELY fuely and gassy, like the OG-Kush, but with an amount of buds like the White Russian, its FLABBERGASTING. I cant wait to try those two strains...😎

Week 6 Flower Up until flush, she was only given PK, sugars and sweeteners, and the microbes (listed above). Everything else has been stopped to ensure a proper flush. She started her flush on Day 40 as I want to get a nice fade on her after a long flush. My girls are in coco and perlite, in fabric pots sat on benches so they dry out within 2 days. Because of this I can flush a lot of water through them without overwatering. Infact, the amount of water I put through them doesn't make a difference to how quickly they dry. Good air movement around the pots also helps them dry, and stops any stagnant air within the lower half of the tent and within the plants, preventing any moulds. When flushing, I first feed just enough water to create a run off into the tray so I can read the ppm and pH value. Doing this lets you know how your plant has been performing; whether she's been way off in pH and locked out by having a high/low pH and high ppm, or if she's been doing just fine with a pH range within tolerance and around the same ppm value or less than you've been feeding. This girl was in perfect health, with a good pH and ppm. After that, I flush up to 30ltr and then take a second reading from the last bit of run off. The ppm is the main thing I look at this time, to see how low I've taken it from the flush. Personally, I find the girls fade much sooner, and more overall by doing a bigger flush as it takes almost all of the nutrients out of the coco within a few days. That leaves the plant with nothing but her own stored nutrients to feed on for the next 2+ weeks. A better flush means a better, cleaner smoke. She's stacked up and swelling by the day with huge buds. Not the frostiest strain I've ran, but still covered in trichomes and extremely strong scented. She smells of mixed berries and grapes 🍇 I can't wait to try! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Growing quite well, hope the phenotypes are not very different from each other They only get water, I have added Tyroler Glückspilze mycorrhiza to the soil @13 Today I repotted them in 14l pots with plagron lightmix, I also added 50g of organic tomato fertilizer per pot ( ratio 7 3 10)

The Jedi came down at 11 weeks. The other blackberry came down at 8.5 weeks, for a total production of 2.5zips plus 7.5 zips. I've had to estimate the Jedi at the moment, there was 1050 gm wet weight of trimmed bud on minimal stem. I would expect the dry weight to be 21% of that but I will update the numbers next week. She is a spacious plant and very branchy but you can continually trim branches as you defoliate throughout the grow, she responds well to both. Floats like a butterfly and hits like a steam train. It's been over two weeks since the Blackberry was harvested and she's all gone now, never even got a chance to dry properly. Basically she kept me going while waiting for this Jedi, who I already knew was going to be soaking with resin. I was hoping for 8 zips total with 4 for each plant but I ended up only getting 2.5 on the blackberry but I got an easy 7.5 of mostly grade a bud so a total of 10 zip for both plants in the same pot. They were expected to mature together but the black berry was a week or so early, so as you can see in the root shots her roots had died and made the Jedi roots rot as well but this shows you the resiiance of the Shallow Water Culture as I do it because of added redundancy, I could not even tell there was a root problem didn't after the Jedi at all but it's good to be away of, I'm back to single pots for a while now.

So It's week 7 of flowering for my Supafreak Girl and let me tell you, she's looking absolutely stunning! I can't help but feel proud and excited every time I check up on her progress. It's been a bit of a wild ride getting here, but it's all been worth it. The Supafreak strain definitely lives up to its name - this plant is a freak of nature in the best way possible. As we are in the maintenance phase, I'm just admiring her beauty and keeping an eye on those trichomes. It's amazing how much can change in just a day or two. I find myself constantly checking in on her, like a proud parent checking in on their child. I don't know about you, but I can't help but make jokes about how great these plants look. I mean, have you ever seen anything so green (now changing) and luscious? It's like they were born to be in a Pantene commercial. How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. This is true of seed starts or clones made from seed starts. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. This is due to light spectrum, temperature, and/or photoperiod changes. Yes, Freakshow will do exceedingly well indoors, and will thrive and mature just fine in a wide variety of natural environments as well, so it's definitely both and I think might even prove to be more resilient to those sorts of transitions. The different parallel lines that we are developing can be directed in a few different pathways flavorwise. Q. Why are the seeds white? A. Why is the sky blue? No, the mature seeds are shrouded by a rice paper thin membrane which has coloring and mottling on it, but it's so fragile that it disintegrates in the process of shucking. Stripped of the outer layer the seeds are very pale, nearly white. It came as no surprise that this plant would have abnormal seeds. Q. Is it a GMO? A. Wow...? Well, it's seriously "modified" and the modifications are definitely genetic, and it is an organism. (Genuinely Modified Organically!) Uh, no. Q. Is it a big producer? A. Freakshow will produce nice, fat, dense colas (see gallery) with remarkable trichome coverage, and you can expect yields according to your veg. time, root space, and general knowledge and expertise as a gardener. The same set of variables apply to expected outcomes regarding cannabinoid levels and terpene profiles. Q.What is the lineage? A. (Bigbud x Skunk#1) x (Big Sur Holy Weed x Banana Kush). NLD("Sativa") dominant, but the afghanica influence is apparent. I'm pretty sure that Freakshow contains some Trainwreck and some Maui Wowie based on some research I did on the origins of the Pineapple Express. Interestingly Big Sur Holyweed, OG Kush, Banana, Trainwreck, and Maui Wowie are all of unclear origins. We have to remember that these are all just names and that they don't really mean much. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. Couch unlock. Q. Is it pest and mildew resistant? A. Indeed it is. On many occasions in the last few years, it has been observed that when pest and mildew issues were affecting other plants adjacent to in the vicinity of Freakshow plants, for unknown reasons the freaks remained entirely unaffected. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. The final Week, before harvest! She has some massive towering buds! 2.5 gallons of water is lasting this plant 5-6 days before drying out, and ready for more.. She was harvested instead of being watered!

Nice week, plants got higher 15-20cm which is nice, also many new budlets appeared and thats even nicer 😊

Done lots of the last toppings this week. No need to defoliation or LST at this point. Her shape really is perfect. And, I know by know when a plant needs LST. Maybe I'll bend the nodes out lightly after I uppot this wk to an 11L Lights. SE5000 was used and supplied by Spider-Farmer for most of this grow. (Thank you Bella) and for early veg. The SF-1000 was used. So, all SF baby. Great lights. Forgot how much faster this spectrum pushes the plants along. Co2 850-1300ppm. Growth is good. Healthy. Need to be on the ball with this co2 growing. Shit happens so fast. A very light mag def one hr and 4hrs later its full on. Crazy fast for the autos. Haven't been keeping up required co2 levels. And sadly. I pushed this thing into pre flower (how Idk) but, the DLI was been reached. And she was shutting herself down. This is her last through week of veg. I've tried revegging her the the last 2 weeks. But, nothing is happening. She's good. Really nice long nodes. And she'll be a great plant. (I'm 2 weeks ahead, weeks will be updated more frequently)

Stretching nicely! A bit long internode distance and small buds and slightly more stretch than the rest, but I bet the quality of the resin will make up for it!

So we’ve come to a slow down on the stretch and they’ve started to work n creating flowers, I defoliated about 10-15% of the fan leaves and removed stems that had less vigor or was too under the canopy and wouldn’t of created any good flowers as these plants are a whopping near 50” so proud to be a loyal Martian! The lights are so powerful and provide the plants with the power of the sun ☀️

Day 106, 17th of November 2020: We need to say goodbye to her very soon. The judgement is harvest. Time has come and she is old enough to be cut. I have checked trichomes all good some days darkness and no more water also and she will be just outside on the table for some days. Really nice little plant not strong smell. I really wanna try the smoke the ratio 1:1 CBD:THC and only 7.5% CBD and 7.5% THC haha :)

Added a little time lapse video for y’all to see my journey - atleast this clone journey- with this strain. Hope you enjoy it. Every day is a learning experience and she is like that saucy best friend - keeping me on my toes. She got 2 gallons of recharge, increased liquid nutrients - finally, some new minor tip burn which is what I was looking for. It’s about 1.25 gallons per day to keep her moist, 2 gallons to even get a cup of run off. (Every 3rd day I saturate her). New nutrient addition this week is tps signal- which I had great success with during end stage on another run. Plus I had hoped it would curb her appetite more. But by the 31st….she still wasn’t happy. I yell at her - “my goodness woman, what do you want from me!?” 🤣🤣 Mega nutrient increase coming up. 🙂 - and I’m watching the trichomes closely. I’m taking a ton of the lower branches/larf for a 6 week flower CBG harvest. I intend to mix it with the final thc flower product to maximize the benefits of the plant in certain smokes/edibles.

Both banners still going strong, both fairly pale in comparison to the other plants, I think it's the vigorous growth, need to up feed for them, more nitrogen required maybe or cal mag or both? Day 38, found preflowers on the big banner in the middle Day 39 cleaned up the lower half of the plants, removed a lot of growth, the dude that said banner has mad growth certainly wasn't joking 😂😂 Day 40 and 41, continued vigorous growth 💪

I feel sorry about myself for not being able to give her the shape I wanted in the time I had settle of vegetative stage, the smell is absolutely gorgeous for a sativa plant, if you smell her you could think she's a pure blueberry strain, very very sweet and floral aroma, hope to keep working with her in many more runs, indoors and outdoors as well!! 💯 Let's see how this beautiful haze keeps developing those flowers! 💛❤️💚👨‍🌾
