Plants defoliation on the lower half

Weekly update on these beautiful ladies. A little late on the update I was out of town for the weekend and couldn't get to it before I left. They're Growing amazing and wow did I come back to a jungle. They'll definitely be getting a defoliation and lollipop this week as it's needed. All in all Happy Growing

April 21 - 28 This week was a fun week of auto pilot watching the buds fill in and the plants stretch. Drizella has been the beast of the grow and stretched the most. But the 2nd row of netting helped keep things under control. Carol Anne is far below that second net tier. She is for sure dealing with life as a short stunted plant. Hoping for the best outcome for her, but I’m sure she ain’t gonna look so pretty when it comes time to chop n hang her to dry. Anastasia is beautiful and I think also dealing with stunted growth a little. Either that or her phenom is wildly different than her sister Drizella. She is just reaching the second net tier and is very bushy with more compact bud zones and colas.

Fed today, average runoff PPM 3581 Not a lot to report, buds are getting sticky about a month to go...

6/22 Some pictures didn't upload but that's probably a good thing. As long as the video went up its good. I need to take less pictures. I'm glad I watered the plants in the back with a premixed gallon last night as we didnt get nearly the rain I thought we would. It's small showers throughout the day. The plants are getting enormous. A couple have revegged. Mostly the 10th planet. The others aren't anywhere near as impacted. Boy are some of these stalks thick. I chose to keep a couple plants that could be grown naturally without topping or fimming. I like to see the structure of the tree bit with humidity like this 98%rh it's easy to get botrytis. That's why it's good sometimes to have multiple bid sites so your proverbial eggs aren't all in one basket. But you do end up with a massive cola. I think that mk ultra with the big fan leavescis just going to be one giant bud. That's what it's looking like. Oh and today is the summer solstice. Longest day of the year. 6/23 WATERED EVERYTHING. USED FIVE AND A HALF GALLONS. EVERYTHING GOT AT LEAST A HALF GALLON. Despite the rain we got and the bags still having some heft I decided to water. It's 80 at 9am. It's supposed to he in the upper 90's today and coukd break 100° tomorrow. I hate that the grow bags are black. That's way to hot for the plants. I should find some empty soil bags and wrap the black fabric for a couple days. A sunscreen might help but I doubt much. We'll see how it goes. 6/24 It's 90° at 9am. It's supposed to break 100° amd stay there a while. Up to 106°. Plants looked awesome this morning. I wasn't sure what I'd find. Today is the worst of the days. If it didn't break 100 yesterday it was damn close all day and the girls look GREAT. I WATERED AGAIN TODAY. I USED 6.5 GALLONS TO WATER THE GARDEN. It was nice cool well water too so they should like that. Branches are getting longer and I'm training as the get bigger. I need to put up the trellis but I'm not doing it in this heat. EDIT: 90° @ 6PM WENT OVER AND AS PREDICTED THE TWO TENS WERE DROOPING. IM WONDERING IF THEY WILL BE ABLE TO FINISH IM THOSE TENS. LAST YEAR I HAD ONE THAT WAS HUGE IN A TEN BUT IT JUST DEVELOPED INDIVIDUAL CALYXS WITHPUT CONNECTING. CHECK IT OUT ON LAST YEARS DIARY. IF THATS THE CASE I SHOULD KIGHT DEP THEM BECAUSE THEYRE GETTING BIG. I WATERED THE TWO TENS WITH ABOUT A HALF GALLON AND I USED WHAT WAS LEFT OF THAT COLD WELL WATER ON THE 10TH PLANET IN THE 30. SHITS LIGHTER THAN USUAL BUT LOOKING PRETTY GOOD. THE REST CAN WAIT UNTIL THE MORNING FOR THEIR WATERING. TOMORROW TOPS OUT AT 85° WHICH WILL BE MUCH BETTER. IM LOVING MY STRAIN CHOICES RIGHT NOW. 6/25 It's super humid out but much cooler. I think it's like 80 at noon time. I had to water the two tens this morning. I didn't really HAVE to but I did. I filled up my watering can that says it holds 1.5 gallons (but it seems like more) and watered the two tens at least a half gallon and focused the rest on the 10th planet in the 30 and the other one up front that gets lighter than the rest. I was fully planning on watering EVERYTHING this morning but I could feel moisture in the soil and they had weight. I'm pretty sure I made the right decision. Especially with humidity so high. Either way I'll check tonight. EDIT: WENT TO THE GROW AT APPROX 2:30PM. I HAD BO IDEA HOW HOT IT WAD OUTSIDE. IT WAS 87° BUT THE HUMIDITY IS DAMN NEAR 100%! I HAD WATERED SHIT A KOT LATELY AMD WANTED TO WAIT UNTIL THE MORNING. THE TWO 10'S (WITH GIANT PLANTS THAT IM NOT SURE CAN FINISH IN TENS) WERE DRY AND LIGHT. A COUPLE SPECIFIC PLANTS WETE A "LITTLE" LIGHTER THAN THE REST. I MIXED UP THE WATERING CAN WHICHVIS 2.5 AND ANOTHER GALLON. I USED THE WATERING CAN ON THE PLANTS IN THE FRONT. THE CHEMDOG #4 WAS SIGNIFICANTLY LIGHTER THAN THE REST SO I GAVE IT MOST OF A GALLON. THE PLANTS THAT ARE STILL HEAVY ARE GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT LONGER BEFORE I WATER THEM.

J'ai l'impression qu'il y a une carence en fer , je vais regarder pour arranger sa j'aimerais sauvegarder cette plante , les boutures malheureusement ne prennent pas où avec beaucoup de mal , j'en est seulement 3 sur 15 qui racines au bout de 15 jours ,qu'elle échec, je vais réessayer en changeant quelques paramètres ! Day 49 flower- Discovered loads of adult fungus gnats around the sour kosher#1.. thinking that’s why it’s been showing signs of stress and some yellowing and curling on fan leaves around the top colas. Put down a bunch of sticky traps and going to let them dry out for now. Smell is so strong from the blue gelato 41, gassy cake smell. The sour kosher #2 looks and smells incredible, has been healthy and green this whole grow with great bud formation/production! I’d love to keep this pheno but can I take a cutting late flower? Or maybe I’ll just re veg it. 24k#1 is still massively behind on bud development, coming like a true sativa. I may well end up having to harvest this one later than all the rest. Still having problems with the 24k#2 top fan leaves turning very yellow and crispy.. but the bud production actually looks really good and frosty. Only 3 weeks to go so I’m sure it will make it, lots of green leaves still left lower on the plant. Trying to keep the dog out my room but there is still husky hairs throughout the whole grow 🙄 unstoppable. Can’t wait to get these drying and taste the final product!

24 Oct 2021 Week 16 began yesterday, but the first watering of the week was today. I’m keeping up with the flush, starting the 2nd week today. Hopefully I’ll be able to harvest in a few days. My Trio is looking really lovely. Their buds are covered in trichomes that glisten under the lights. They are starting to darken in color in some areas like their mother did. They may take on some pinkish/purple hues before it’s all done. Some of their leaves are turning purple as well. The sugar leaves are somewhat dark, but still green. All three of them are very nice to look at, and their smell is super strong! It’s really nice in my grow room! Yesterday I went out and got some more of those support sticks from the local home store and provided support for all of the branches that needed it. Which was a lot! I got 7 new support sticks and used them all. All of the branches are now supported and flourishing! Today each of my girls received a gallon of properly pH’ed water, and each had a sufficient amount of runoff from which to gather measurements. The process went as follows: C1 & C2 had an initial pH of 6.9, and C3’s initial pH was 6.8. I added .2ml of pH DOWN to each gallon which adjusted the pH to 6.4 for C1, and 6.3 for C2 and C3. TDS going in was 88 ppm for C1, 86 ppm for C2, and 84 ppm for C3. Runoff measurements were a little weird. The runoff pH for C1 was 5.9. The TDS was (at first) 600 ppm. I thought that was an incredible drop from the other day, so I did it again. It was 603 ppm the second time. Ok, moving along nicely! The runoff for C2 was pH - 5.8, and TDS was 1101 ppm. 😳 That’s a lot more than C1. C3 had a pH of 5.6, and TDS of 1212 ppm. Which is even more; so I measured a little more from C1 again, and the 3rd time it measured 736 ppm. 🤔 That seems weird to me, but I’ll keep an eye on it. If it continues to be that low then I will end up harvesting it before the others which won’t be so terrible. I’ll just have to wait and see. The temperature in the tent was 81F, and humidity was 47%. My ladies are looking lovely and growing better than I could have hoped for. This grow has been awesome, but I can’t wait to be done. Happy growing everyone! 27 Oct 2021 Feeding/flushing time again! I was somewhat perplexed the other day when I got the runoff reading for the TDS in C1. It was 500-600 ppm less than C2 & C3 respectively. Since I was having some issues with the TDS meter I thought that IT may be the cause. I made a note to check on it today, and there seems to be no problem with the TDS meter at all. Keep reading for details. My plants are still looking as lovely as I could ever have hoped for! C1 has started showing more color changes than the other 2, and the only thing I can say the difference is, is that I defoliated some of C1’s larger fan leaves last week, and wasn’t able to do the same for the other 2. That is the ONLY thing I can think of that has been different between all 3 plants this entire grow. Regardless, all 3 plants are looking wonderful! Today each of my lovely ladies received a gallon of property pH’ed water with an expected amount of runoff for testing. The preparation went as follows: C1 & C2 had an initial pH of 6.9, and C3 was at 7.0. I added 0.2ml’s of pH DOWN to each gallon which adjusted the pH of all 3 gallons to 6.3. TDS going in for C1 & C2 was 85 ppm, and C3 was 84 ppm. Runoff levels were different for all three plants. C2’s runoff pH was 5.7, and TDS was 1041 ppm. C3’s pH was 5.6, and TDS was 1059 ppm. Last time C1 was significantly lower than the others, and I thought that maybe it was a TDS meter issue. Evidently it wasn’t. C1’s TDS today was 526 ppm! 😳 still much lower than the others, and pretty much ready for harvest. The temperature in the tent was 81F, and humidity was 43%. Although harvest time is much closer, I don’t believe it will be done in time for this month’s grow diary of the month contest. So sad, but that’s life. Happy growing everyone! See you again soon. 29 Oct 2021 Today is the last day of week 16. I was planning on continuing the flush today, but remembered something that I had forgotten about…. I remembered the branch that had broken off of C1 back on October 10th in week 14. She had held on for well over a week in a can of water, but finally her leaves started to droop. I hung it up all by itself in my small tent to dry. Until today that is! I took it outside and trimmed it on my deck. Even outside, in a pleasant breeze, the amazing smell of this branch was easily detected. It’s kind of windy, rainy, and chilly here today, but still …. That sweet blueberry muffin smell was there. Her buds; still covered in the dried, crystallized trichomes were super sticky! I must admit that they are the stickiest buds I have grown to date. I weighed the dry bud to add to the grand total of C1’s harvest later. Then I ground it up and smoked it. All I am going to say is that from my reaction to smoking it; I have decided that no additional flushing is needed. After all, what I smoked today broke right before I started flushing, and I could taste nothing other than what I would hope to taste. So my fellow Growmies; I am ending this week right here. Well, I've had a problem. One of my automatic plug has failed and the light has been on for 3 days 24h/day. I've had some problems because of this but I think (I hope) I've recovered. This will be the last week with ripen and then water for the last week. Buds are still nice and it seems that everything is ready for the harvest. 😉

This might be one of my most favorite strains. Heavy yeilder of 185 grams of flower and 30 grams of shake. Thank you for checking out this grow.

This plant is getting close to the finish line. She doesn’t have the tightest buds I’ve seen but what she lacks in tightness she makes up with loads of trichomes and a nice sweet skunky smell. I will likely take her down in the next couple days. She has been a pleasure to grow. Zero issues with mould/mildew or bugs! A true winner when it comes to resistance! Cant wait to chop!! Thanks for supplying the genetics sweet seeds!! 😎🍿🍻🌱

well, it's exactly 12 weeks :) and my house is full of lemon aroma :) the girl endured really difficult growth, but she coped with everything perfectly :) who followed the growth, you saw that she grew on the balcony for 10 weeks, and she spent the last 2 in the grow tent :) 500 gr wet weight !!!!:) , before putting it in the ground I expected less than 10 g dry yield :D then this growth turned out super well, if it wasn't for my vacation I would have let it grow for about 2 weeks I think. but everything is still very good, I'll go home, fix it and do a smoke review :).

9/13 Took the last special Kush today. I had too. Those fucking locusts were eating more and more. At least the trichs looked good. The second plant is straight fire! They're ALL good. I'll have to do the review. Tenth planet is swelling up and trichs are getting cloudier. They are starting to eat the chem dog too but it needs to bulk up and the trichs aren't there yet. Mk ultra natural may be some of the best quality this year. I'm losing SOME to tje locusts but it seems they avoid the frostier stuff. At least I'm hoping. This is a great plantvand despite the nugs being so tight and stuff it just needs more time and im going to give it to her. Pink kush is actually look9ng like it might finish. But the locusts have STRIPPED a lot of that. I'll keep an eye on them and keep this uodated.

12/18 4am CANNAKAN!!!! Giving my FAST Flowers a try. A late spring early summer grow. CannaKan is my new best friend, I had a 100 per cent success rate last time!!! Ok I got it all done at 5:30 am, I set the Temp to 88 MPH or the Time Machine wont work, EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT! Marty will meet me in the parking lot at the mall, I have a great feeling about this. 11am Room temperature is 73. Heating Pad set to 88. Water temp 77.7 PERFECT!! 2:30pm blue dream is already starting to open. I think Tropicana cookies looks like she’s opening a little bit. They should all be open by tomorrow. It’s only been about nine hours.👍👍. 11:30pm They all opened. I drained the water put in new distilled water, made sure water level was right. Looks great!!!! 12/19 4am The temp looks good, all are opening nicely. I have to get the pots ready now, put on new stickers, they help identify the plants from different angles, especially in photos. Im doing a low power fast turn around grow in easy to move 1 gallon pots. They will all be topped above the 3rd node, then the bottom or 2nd to the bottom branches will be cut off to achieve a 4 cola grow. Very simple, easy to manage. 11am. 2:30pm, 5:30pm..so tired, finish in the morning. 12/20 12 am 1:30am Just finished TC & GS I had a little trouble seating GS, TC no problems, takes a while to learn. BD is still sprouting, not a long enough tail to bury yet. 9am I think im getting another CannaKan. 10am 👍👍👍 12/21 Put BD in the pot, not sure if she will go or not, I'm firing up the CannaKan and doing another, since its a photo I will keep it in Veg until my next grow cycle. I may do a full 3 gallon grow with this one and take clones, this is fun!!!! gardening, who knew? The new filter paper I got is a little thicker than what came with it takes longer to sink, more dramatic, I got medium in that blue box from amazon. 7am Tropicana Cookies is the Winner of fastest to sprout, she looks great! GS has the shell and skin, it could still fall naturally so I'll wait. BD is unchanged. Micro-surgery on TC got the skin off and she popped right open!! 12:30pm SUCCESS!!! 4 hours later, she's PERFECT, worked GREAT!!! I NEVER thought I would be able to do seed surgery. That was my 3rd time doing that, success every single time! 4pm looks good. 12/22 9am. all look great, GS is taking off VERY strong overnight, TC has taken root her main stalk is already thick!! BD #2 is almost ready. I kept BD#1 underwater too long...then I accidentally ripped her head off this morning......so really not my fault......shhhhh..... 1 pm BD looks perfect 🤩 almost ready. 330pm Did the transplant...I really need to work on that....so nervous when I do it. Im not paid for this but CannaKan is one of the best products Ive ever used. I need lots of practice planting the radicles ...""In botany, the radicle is the first part of a seedling (a growing plant embryo) to emerge from the seed during the process of germination. The radicle is the embryonic root of the plant, and grows downward in the soil (the shoot emerges from the plumule)""..... I had to look radicle up... It makes a complete difference, I dont lose seeds now It just a million times easier using CannaKan.

Day 21 in the flower tent and I think the stretch is now complete. The girls are 12" tall above the screen and I'll probably put up a 2nd layer of trellis just to be safe. Will definitely only run 4 of these next time, or maybe 2 with the same veg time to keep the canopy lower, but I don't think the Photontek x465wPro will have any trouble penetrating down into this! Also time for another big strip! These girls just keep putting out the fans, so we'll just keep stripping them off, keeping tabs on airflow and budsites. We're still not setting bud yet - seriously, four full weeks of stretch so far here...
