Another good week! I fed them once on Monday. A final shot to boost them for finishing up. I am pretty certain they will finish within 2 weeks.I also watered them on Thursday and today (Sunday). I defoliated both plants earlier this week as well. For one, I needed to open the canopy up to help keep the humidity down but, there were a lot of leaves yellowing and turning brown. I was not feeding them correctly... in the sense that I wasn't watering enough in between feeds. There were excess nutrients built up in the soil and I believe that led to the nutrient burn. Also, this was my first and only feed without the Grow Big due to flushing for week 9. I followed the Fox Farm feed schedule... but, I think I needed to understand my plants better! I also believe I stunted these girls! One is about 24" tall and the other is 21" tall. Both on the very low end of the growth chart. Overall, I am very happy!! So much to experience and learn in such a short window of time! I've thoroughly enjoyed this grow! I look forward to the harvest and experiencing all that is to come! One last thing... Anyone use GrowBuddy and any word on what is going on with the current download? I've followed the drama around taking so long and all that (the new hardware soon to be for sale for 2.0)... but, the website now says the software is available for free and working on Macs and Windows.... So, I downloaded it last night and I cannot activate an account. Everything has a greyed over kind of look... So, I assume they took some part of their servers offline... La semaine 4 de floraison annonce la production de résine, les plantes gonfle de plus en plus mais n'a pas atteint le pic florale, je continue le Méga pk jusqu'à la 6ème semaines tout en faisant attention de ne pas brûler les racines. Pk bloom bastic de la 6ème a 8ème . Flawless Finish (phase finale) 8ème à 9ème. Eau déminéralisée jusqu'à semaine 11. -04/09 dernière défoliation enlever les têtes popcorn maintenant l'énergie sera mieux distribuer GROWERS clique et abonnés vous pas mal de connaissances a partager avec vous n'hésitez pas. Even though they were all born on the same day starting with 10 seeds (6/23/21), 4 out of the 9 (because 1 hermed) matured and finished much quicker than the others. I would say a couple of them have at least another 2 weeks to go. Slowly but surely. My fiancé and myself wet trimmed most. Never trimmed before. Shitload of larf unfortunately. I doubt I have any nugs that weigh heavier than 3.5. Should’ve done a few things differently but do it goes. I made sure to maintain “low and slow” as best I possibly could. 9 plants all at the same age was a ton of work! Used my original tent to dry in. Conditions were about 70 Fahrenheit, and 55%RH. Bought one of them tiered mesh drying racks, and hung it in my 2x2. Few fans at the bottom, and my intake fan at the top of it, exhausting into my 4x8. I’d reckon I got about 3 ounces out of the 4 I took down earlier this week. Amazing feeling smoking your own weed that YOU grew. Seeing it in your jars. It was definitely all worth it. I almost bought another 2 ounces off my weed supplier. Then I realized I didn’t need him anymore. Saved me three hundred bucks right there. Idk If im just unlucky or what, but only a couple of mine had a slight purplish tint. Sorta disappointing. It smokes great tho, even still being in the beginning portion of its cure. I fucked up in multiple aspects, chalk those up to learning. Definitely going to defoliate around day 30, and also make sure my lights aren’t too close like they were here. My greatest mistake was the PH, it was improper for about 3 weeks. Took that long for it to get sorted out. Thus more than 1/4 of the plants life was spent in not perfect conditions. I was putting in water at 10.7, and getting 6 out as runoff…. With that being said, I’ve now got 4 plants to completion under my belt, soon to be 9 so I’m moving away from soil and closer to hydro. Bought an automatic drip feeding system I plan to use for coco. I’m done with fox farms ocean forest. It may be alright, but I’m spending way too much time watering/feeding. Hello. This is the end of week 6 and the beginning of week 7 of veg. I meant to repot these girls last week and I've been a day behind all week. I've got the pots washed and the soil mixed but just didn't get around to repotting them. I'll get it done tomorrow. They look a little wilty because I turned the light on to take these pics and they were asleep. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Amending with bloom top dressing because flopping this one to flower. Over the transition, I will amend with some more bloom mix and some rock phosphate and Power Bloom from Gaia Green. Will also be doing a brand new banana tea recipe so stay tuned folks.

First grow. Ph 6.3 /temp 23 /RH%60 /water ppm 210 /Co2 500 ppm/18-6 light/ par value 600/ techna flora recipe for success nutrient cycle. Kryptonite organic worm casting soil. No training yet. 3.5 litres of water every 3 days . First mistake and note to growers and self when using spray bottle to we surface make sure not rip off any leaves as your pulling the trigger...oh well she will live.

Week starting 4/10/2019 Spotted a few aphids today on some of the yellowing leaves - confirmed with the magnifying glass. Humidity continues to be an issue as I cannot seem to lower it below 60% at best, averaging 65%. The extraction currently is pulling the air from the tent into the room - will need to look into taking it outside of the house before looking at dehumidifiers. White powdery mildew is more prevalent on some of the tops. Manually wiping them off with a wet cloth each day. 05/10 - Applied nematodes today to all 4 pots (https://www.biogroei.fr/stenema). Had to apply it with water at pH6.5 08/10 - Watered all 4 plants to keep the soil moist for the nematodes. #1 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg 10/10 - Feed of Vega at pH6.4 at 19.8 deg, EC 1.84 - still seems stunted during flowering and behind the others of same strain by a week or two. #2 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg 10/10 - Feed of Vega at pH6.4 at 19.8 deg, EC 1.84 (pot was not dry yet, should have waited another day or two with feeding) - colas are still developing nicely whilst continuing with the leaf loss. - defoliated and cut all small branches with flowers at the bottom. #3 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg 10/10 - Feed of Vega at pH6.4 at 19.8 deg, EC 1.84 (pot was not dry yet, should have waited another day or two with feeding) - a few curled/twisted leaves. Continues to need the most frequent watering - most probably due to the limited 7L pot. #4 08/10 - Watered at pH6.3 at 17 deg - is not drinking a lot of water compared to the other 3 G13 Haze strains. - getting close to harvest time, still not showing big signs of nutrient deficiencies or other issues. Some purple leaves at the very top of the main cola.

February 2, 2021 (Week 4, Day 29): The plants grew enough overnight to top at the third node. This is the second and last time I'll be topping these plants - this is the Nebula method of manifolding. I also took off the second node of each growth stem as well as the original fan leaves. I've pressed them in my plant press to save the memories of my experience with my first grow. I also redid the LST on every plant. The new growth sites I've pinned to the fan leaves. I really enjoy doing LST, it's quite therapeutic to figure out just how to support the plant without harming it. I think I am getting great lateral growth so far. The main growth stems are swelling a lot at the bases. Medium is still wet from yesterday - lightly tilled about a half inch of top soil. I've turned down the humidity another 5% this week. I'll keep it there most likely until I start the flowering cycle. Averaging 60% rH and 78℉. Plants are happy, and I am happy. 😸 February 3, 2021 (Week 4, Day 30): Plants are looking good this morning. The nitrogen toxicity in Unknown 2 is beginning to subside. Now Unknown 1 seems to be having a nitrogen toxicity as well - slight leaf curling at the ends with a very lush and dark green color. I am assuming this soil is still very hot. As I've lowered the humidity I suspect more nutrients are being sucked in through the roots instead of transpiration through the leaves. I think the plants are going to take a little bit to get used to the hot soil, but I bet once they do they'll be as happy as ever. Medium is still slightly moist this morning, no watering. I tilled a half inch of top soil again to keep everything aerated. Most likely will water tomorrow or the next day. My LST seems to be holding nicely. I tied down Unknown 2's first growth tips as the fan leaves have finally straightened out after the topping yesterday. New growth tips are emerging nicely from the third node of each lateral stem. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. Nothing else to report for today. February 4, 2021 (Week 4, Day 31) : Growth looks good overnight. I think this second topping is confusing the plants a bit. Lots of bulking of the stems, but not much lateral growth. I have a feeling they'll take off over the next few days. They're still growing really well. I posted a grow question last night having to do with little white bead-like structures growing on the surfaces of the leaves on every plant. I was concerned it may be a mold or fungus starting to grow. I did a bunch of research and it seems to be early trichome development called "sessile glands". I still have the question open and I am trying to get confirmation. Really hoping if they're trichomes that's a good sign that these plants are going to be frosty. I uploaded some pictures to show the development. Over night they started to grow everywhere on the leaves - hopefully they really are just trichomes and I am being over-vigilant. Better safe than sorry. I watered the plants today without nutrients; 3 liters per plant pH'd to 5.8. Runoff sitting at ~6.5 pH now which is much better. I'll continue to run 5.8 pH solution until I see the pH of the soil come down to at least 6.2-6.3. Tomorrow I'll most likely have to defoliate a bit and tie down the second sets of growth stems, as they're beginning to stretch and grow vertically. Averaging 60% rH and 76℉. Happy growing all! 😸 February 5, 2021 (Week 4, Day 32): The plants are exploding with growth now. I defoliated the fan leaves from the first node on every plant and tied down the growth stem for lateral growth. These plants are meaty as hell. The stems are thickening really quickly and I am getting tons of foliage and stem growth. The third nodes are starting to come around. I think I figured out the "mold" issue I thought was starting. They're definitely trichomes, not mold. I touched the leaves that were sparkling and my fingertips got sticky, oily, and reeked of weed - so that's great news. The smell in my grow room is getting stronger every day. While defoliating this morning I found my first pre-flowers on Gelato 1! It looks like all the plants are female, but Gelato 1 threw some pretty pistils at me to get my attention. Seems like the plants are reaching maturity. Depending on growth over the next few weeks it may be time to switch to flower soon! I am aiming for about 16" in veg before switching. Seeing these pre-flowers made me so anxious for flowering. Unknown 1 and Unknown 2 are doing great as well - all the signs of the nitrogen toxicity have subsided. Unknown 2 has more trichomes on the leaves than any of the other plants, and its foliage is a beautiful deep green. They are either different phenotypes or different strains entirely as the two of them are growing and looking quite different. Unknown 1 is much lankier so I suspect a different strain. Unknown 2 is especially squat and I suspect it's 100% indica or close to it. Medium is still wet. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. No other news today. February 6, 2021 (Week 4, Day 33): Last 24 hours I have seen at least an inch of lateral growth per growth stem on each plant. These girls are absolutely loving life from the looks of it, they're growing incredibly fast. I redid a bunch of LST today. Had to move every tie up one node. Medium is still moist. Lightly tilled half inch of top soil. Gelato 1 is shooting out more pre-flowers. Thanks to my wife we have new friends that have joined us in the smart pots. 😸 Averaging 60% rH and 75℉. Happy weekend everyone! February 7, 2021 (Week 4, Day 34): These girls are chugging right along. Tons of great lateral growth every 24 hours at this point. Having to adjust LST pretty much every morning to accommodate for the crazy growth. Gelato 1 is a freak of nature - the fan leaves are gigantic. Defoliated again today; took the fan leaves from the third node of each plant. Will be defoliating the first node of the secondary growth stems tomorrow most likely. Medium is slightly moist. Tilled the soil again. Will be watering tomorrow morning most likely. There's still a little dropping at the ends of the leaves so I will hold off on nutrients until all nitrogen toxicity has subsided. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. Nothing else for today. February 8, 2021 (Week 4, Day 35): Watered today with 3 liters of 5.8 pH filtered water per plant (no nutrients) - runoff around ~6.7-6.8 pH. Will most likely resume nutrients upon next feeding depending on how the plants look. Defoliated entire first node from center four growth stems and tied down third nodes. Readjusted outside LST. The plants are almost to the outside of the pot which is when I'll switch to vertical growth. Unknown 1 is very close to being let loose, it's also pre-flowering now. Gelato 1 is now covered in pre-flowers - it's definitely a happy plant. Unknown 2 is still the runt of the group but also appears to be almost 100% indica by how stout it is. It's showing sex but no pistils yet. All three plants seem to responding well to mainlining and the stress isn't making them skip a beat. Stems are getting huge. I downloaded an app on my phone to check how well my lights are doing and, if the readings are accurate, I am very impressed with these lights. I've read cannabis can handle around ~65 DLI, so I am right where I need to be. Averaging 60% rH and 78℉. That ends week 4 of veg. Time is flying. Hoping to switch to flower in two weeks for a total of six weeks in veg. Getting super stoked to switch over! Happy growing everyone! 👽

At day 34, I can see more changes in the terpene profiles. The big winner at this stage is the pheno #2. Everything from her is superior: structure, bud size and consistency, resin production... The pheno #3 is my second favorite one for the same characteristics, except for the terpene profile which is the more favorable one among the 5. The girls still share that same tropical funk back ground (myrcene/terpinolene). The sour lemon punch is still present in the phenos #2 and 4. Pheno #1 Sweet/Gassy Pheno #2 Sweet/tropical/Sour citrus Pheno #3 The more interesting terpene profile. She kept ALL the banana aroma from the tropical funk 😋 Sweet/tropical/skunk Pheno #4 The less interesting terpene profile. The aroma carries weird hints of soap. Sweet/tropical/Sour citrus/Chemical/Soapy Pheno #5 The terpene profile is very close from pheno #3. Very tropical and sweet, with less of the banana aroma. Sweet/tropical

Day1: Father and child both doing well after a successful and happy birth. Day 2: The stem stretched a bit further than I would have liked so I’ve added another layer of soil to build up around the stem and I’ve moved the light a bit closer. Looks good now. Day 3: Continued to use the Force to make the seedling grow. It’s looking happy and healthy. It’s tedious work just standing there 18hrs a day. Day 4: Another good day of growing. I had R2 telling me dirty jokes to keep me distracted from the monotony of the task. Put some water around the stem just to dampen it down a bit. Day 5: Nothing to report. It’s already starting to feel like I’ve been here for a light year but Mr.Nelson said he’ll be bringing round some bud soon so that should help with the boredom. He said it’s important that I learn for myself by actually trying it, the difference between Indica and Sativa. Day 6: Dampened down soil around seedlings 🌱 Day 7: A week down and everything is looking good. Dampened down soil again today around seedling 🌱

It’s been a good week of bud growth. I started turning up the dial to 400watts over night when the temps start to lower. I did add an hps to add color and wattage to the grow and not break the bank. So far it’s paying off. With allot of heat I’m keeping my eye on the water levels. Refilling as needed.
