Welcome to my diary. It is a completed grow uploaded all in once. The fastest growing seeds will be put on 10 liter hydro-reservoirs and the rest on soil. One 1.5x1.5 tent for the DWC, and one 0.6x0.6 for the rest. Smallest plant of DWC will be moved to 0.6x0.6 for space efficiency reasons. This was the 3rd attempt on growing DWC. Unfortunately this grow didn't end well(police seized everything) but some valuable life lessons were learned from this amazing experience, stay tuned!

These are the last pics I have from the grow. There are 3 more from the police press release but I won't upload them here. To sum up, 5x Big Bang on DWC(4 inside the 1.5x1.5, 1 inside the 0.6x0.6) 1x Gorilla Glue on DWC 1x Green Crack on DWC 4x Big Bang on soil 1x Green Crack on soil. Out of 10 Big Bang seeds the 9 sprouted. (90% Rate) 3 Green Crack Seeds, the 2 sprouted 2 Gorilla Glue seeds, 1 sprouted. total harvest is 113+72=185g from 2 Big Bang plants on DWC. The rest were never harvested. I have to take note on the fact Big Bang could manage to carry its weight. Green Crack and Gorilla Glue had to be tied up cause they just couldn't manage it!. Good job on that GreenHouse Seeds. The life lessons learned from this experience. #1 : Do not bite off more than you can chew (or less is more) #2: Do not trust anyone. #3: Mother Nature gave us cannabis in rather low-THC content and sun for growing it. All the current strains and techniques of growing indoors are a product of human greed wanting more and more and more...I don't want to support this anymore, I'd rather stick to a few landrace seeds picked up from some old stoners and growing guerilla instead. Many might disagree with me on that, but come on guys, who can go against nature if not The One who gave it to us?

Grow Questions
Bornat1620

Only one question for fellow growers. What nutrients did you use that required minimum effort on balancing the pH? I'm asking because well, I checked the pH twice a day and during flowering it was messing around like crazy on 3 of my plants. A pita fixing it.

I like Advanced Nutrients PH Perfect line. My last grow I was using water with pH 7.5 and 1/2 strength of nutes, they made it 6.8. Now I’m using very good spring water with pH 6.7, and no pH down is required. Solution is about 6.3-6.4 when I just mix PH Perfect. But as said already, it always depends on your water quality.

There are some additives, like calmag, that will do a number on your pH... but it's not the nutes or additives that are the real issue - it's usually the water that you're using. I've found Spring Water to be a lot more stable when it comes to pH issues than my regular tap water.... and would assume, though I haven't tried it, that RO water is even better. One thing I've learned is to only check the pH once a day at the same time of the day... it WILL fluctuate during the day for various reasons and I used to chase around madly as well trying to adjust here and adjust there... Just check it once a day... same time every day.... life is a lot calmer and surprisingly, the pH is more stable as well. Good luck!

Well. Adding in Adv nutrients with what you are using is going to mess around with your PH.. the trio you have is stable enough.. and using big bud is what's messing you grow during flowering.. No matter what you use. Flowering periods are demanding, pH wise. But keep hydro nutrients to 1 brand if you can. This alone will make for a much more stable PH. GOOD LUCK
