The trichs are absolutely insane and the flowers are now legit buds. 😍 I know everyone that's done this before is like "... yeah that's how it works." but as this is my first time .. you know.. *fart noise* 👆 Jog on. Having a random fall heat wave this weekend but humidity is steady around 45% during lights and no more than 60% in closed tent with new outtake fan. Staying heavy on the defol to keep problem spots like leaf overlaps and light blockers at bay since the RH is still a few points above where I want it. I've also found that 16 Hour dark periods, in my personal observation with no other experience, seems to have a positive effect on the plants. A few times this week I've had plans at night and had to dark tent it early since I still don't have a timer. It's almost like my plants are fast forwarding through flower with crazy trich and full buds by start of Week 4. Little Danny on the left is way more of a classic structure with 9 long main colas along the outside and smaller sites through the middle. Big Arnold is a super stretched out net weaved nightmare of single bud sites with a 4-5 traditional colas but most of the flowers are very spread along the net, I definitely experimented more with LST on Arnold. I remember looking at them both when I got them and said "I bet little Danny will end up with a higher yield" and if those colas go Superfudge Judy Bloom on me, it just might. We picked up the cuttings for the GanjOS Lab from High4Life on December 30th and put them in our propagator for around 3 days for acclimatization.

Day 69: As you can see, lucky the buds gone bigger but because of these intense feeding to fix the grow, they start to get nutrient burns. So for the new week i might only give water until the end with maybe some Regulator, enzymen, humic-blast... They also don't drink fast anymore. Another indicator that they having a hard time taking all the nutrients and that they are at their end of their stage. Some smaller plants, that finished growing and flowering faster, are already done and will get cut down in the comming days. These plants are some Gorilla's and some are cherry cola's. As you see, some have been foxtailing because i had to raise the lamps everytime. I personally don't like fox tail buds but i know some people that love them, pure flower to smoke. I really liked to make those photos in the dark, It shows many flowers and thc.

With great joy I will start my second season growing cannabis. I hope to learn from some small mistakes from the first season where I was surprised by my performance as a first-time sailor cultivating the BlueDream strain. This season I left the 4 seeds of GorillaGlue 36hrs in a pot of water to break the dormancy. After that I used the napkin technique for more 42 hrs. So I put each one in a 5-gallon airpot, as they are automatic and go to harvest in the same pot. After 24hrs in the vase the first 2 little leaves came out. I made a homemade dome with a 2-gallon water bottle, cutting it into strips and lining it with plastic with some holes to keep the humidity high during this initial phase. We entered the first week of cultivation and unfortunately due to an oversight I got confused in the fertilizer table and clearly the dreaded overfert happened. I did a watering only with water to try to remove the excess fertilizer let's hope it works.

Plants are looking good so far, added about 2ml/gal to the reservoir this week and plants responded well. They are all keeping short and stocky so far and should be able to start LST training in a few days I think. I also turned up the light to 750w and the air temps are now hovering between 24c-25c. Water temps are creeping up though in the 21c range, gonna wrap the buckets tonight in foil insulation and build a water cooler for this setup soon as well. Had some Ph issues during week 4 because my pen decided to go wonky. I tried to calibrate it again and had a hard time. So I busted out an older one and decided to calibrate it and see if it worked still... calibrated in a few min and sure enough res ph was well bellow 5. So water was changed as it was time anyway and ph’d proper just before lights out so we will see what happens tomorrow.

Im a few days behind on an update, but heres week 10. Things are okay.. Ive had some PH balance issues, which I believe has effectedy nutrient intake.. Its a long story, but lesson now learned, and will help me for the next grow. I also believe, that Ive outgrown these containers, and thats effecting my bud growth. Next grow Im going to 3gal fabric pots. So what did I learn this grow? 1) 1.8 gal containers too small now that my plants are growing better w/ LEDs 2) Calibrate your electronic PH meter, and measure PH including nutrients.

Video from Day 53 I edited and uploaded. I spent a lot of time in the garden yesterday. My veg tent needed a TON of trim work and had to get the girls watered. Picked up some Mammoth P and decided to try it out. The label states you can run through flush and read reports of growers who run through flush. Just microbes, and I have stopped all other microbes and just flushing with sledgehammer. I will be back in the garden today and update this week with some more photos! Stay tuned and happy growing! Day 54: I planned to get more photos, but got really tied up with trimming some larf I hadn't noticed in the center of a few plants. I think I was a little to conservative with lollipopping in some areas and left too many lower sites in the middle of the plants. This is the first time I have trained plants in this manner. I had also planned on harvesting the Triple Cheese, but I checked trichomes again and decided to give at least a few more days. That being said, I just took some pre-harvest photos of the Triple Cheese. As I prep each for harvest, I will get some good photos of each plant with the black backdrop. First week of flowering. There’s too much vegetation I might prune the branches that don’t produce flowers. The pistils have appeared, so I guess the buds will start developing soon.

She's growing to be cute and fuzzy so far. Not expecting her to be any bigger but to get fat buds from now on.

Day 67. They grow ! Will need to install bamboo sticks for support, but they grow huge and very nice at the moment ! Mother nature does all the work. So next visit just for installing sticks and anti slug pallets. Happy Growing !
