Week 13 I wanted to harvest this week but the buds seem air still so I move my light closer to see if that help fatten up the buds.

All is good. Plant is starting to turn yellow and the trichomes are getting cloudy. I think I have another 2 weeks until time to chop. Very excited with this one.

Easy week, this was second run, unfortunately can’t find first run pics. Had to correct with a little extra fish castings for lack of nitrogen, my mistake.

Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you. This time we are faced with an absolute novelty from Zamnesia, a plant from the latest generation of an immense series that Zamnesia is bringing out, ready to try them all. Here we have excellent parents, the primette result is great, let's also try the Karen Kush. I was amazed by the perfect branding for this strain and so let it be Karen. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water. - Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. A lot of TLC this week and she has bounced back! 😁Really had to dial in and give her the best environment possible. Flowers started to pop up below the canopy so I’m guessing all the defoliation was successful and she is coming back stronger than ever. Will watch for fox tailing as buds form to see if she is reacting from severe light stress early flowering days. Notes from the week: 9/15: Cut burnt tops off her today. Trimmed a lot of the burnt leaves. 9/19: She has recovered nicely from the light stress/burn. Flower stage does not seem to be affected to much. I have noticed some purple calxys and upper leaves near some tops seem to be fading and showing some purple as well. 😈

they grow fast and are very strong, the branches are thick. a good smell is already emerging. I think the 5 will largely fill the tent. I added led bars on the uprights

Once again these girls don’t really need much just watering when dry but other than that we are on cruise mode. I have been checking trichomes for about a week now and man is she almost there I should be giving them lights out with in another week or two can’t wait

I also made a few upgrades in the bloom tent and moved a few of the cultivars into bloom under 12/12. Also, I realized my BlueLab Conductivity Meter has the option to switch to EC. Since EC is the most accurate way to measure the nutrient concentration in a solution, I will now be measuring and reporting EC readings rather than PPM. I am honestly super stoked about every single plant in this run. That said, I think I am probably most impressed by the 🍭🎅🏻 COTTON CANDY CANE lady from Emerald Triangle Seeds. She is incredibly vigorous. She was started nearly a month after all the others (except the 🦍🍪 GORILLA x COOKIES) and has already caught up to some of the taller plants in the run. Special thanks to those guys for sending the freebies for me to try out! Definitely want to try more from this breeder! She is almost a month behind the other plants and is almost as tall as the tallest cultivars started on 8/10. All in all, everything looks great. Each stake goes to the bottom of the 12" pot. All transplants have nice solid root balls due to being slightly rootbound. I knew I'd likely run short on premixed soil, so I decided to transplant the largest plants first. Of course, I ran out of soil after 11 plants were transplanted. It seems like I used a lot more soil than usual with this method and in tgese pots. - I mixed a new batch of soil using the same recipe. I will give the five smallest gorls a few more days to grow taller. 6/30/26 This resilient little sweetie isn't done growing! Its a shame i didn't get my lil 3x5 outdoor tent sooner but alas better late than never. The capertillers (yeah thats how i say it lol) really did a number on her main stem and fan leaves. Honestly it shows how tough and resilient these girls are. Also the extreme conditions they are growing in cannot be underestimated or understated. Feels like 103 with level 11 Sun intensity! This baby is making a few nice stinky flowers too. It seems like when i make a note of some gearbo need in my diaries itd not long before it comes to fruition. Ive been working really hard being extra meticulous and I'm taking more detailed notes. I would love to compete and I would really love to win a Cannabis related grow contest or cup or award and get some recognition and sponsorships maybe even a career 🤔 😉 🤞Probably not off of this poor girl lol happy growing friends ✌️

Buds seriously starting to fatten up, put out some serious trichomes and smell this week. Smell has intensified quite alot since last week soon as you open the tent the smell smacks you in the face. More trichomes by the day looking like a serious smoke. Upped the EC to 2 for this week to try and get a much out of these as possible. I won't be going any higher than a 2 EC so I don't fry my plants. Some orange hairs starting to appear on both the cereal milk and wedding cake.

Terps are wild on this one ! sweet orange candy with spicy, peppery kicks, pine sap, earthy funk, and a gassy twist at the end. Hits you right in the nose and throat like a super concentrated essential oil🤤🤤

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , this grill really has grown right out this week and is unrecognisable from the plant just a few days ago , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

A bit defoliation on top now the buds come

The friend of mine borrowed me an EC exhaust fan with a very nice exhaust volume capacity. As a result I managed to drop the day temperature from 29°C to very nice 24°C. One thing which worries me a bit is the softness/fragility of branches. When I was doing a defoliation, some of the branches got almost broken. That's something I have not experienced yet. Thought, that this will be taken care of by using calmag and silic rock. And it may have gotten better a bit. Just a bit though. I am curious how this develops further, especially when buds volume increases.

Ok. On flower day 47 started flush. Ended up using 5gallons to bring her down from 800ppm to about mid 500ppm. Will use RO water next flush dirt better results. Recent tricomes pics shows milky clear with a hint of Amber.... This sample came from 5" down the canopy. Also the has been an emergence of new white pistils at the top colas. On day 52 she was given ice at her roots.

We have made it to the end of Week 6. Conditions in the tent have improved DRAMATICALLY. The heat wave has finally passed and the temperature has finally leveled out. Not only that, the super weird monsoon weather that we were having has also passed and now the humidity is not rising above 60%. This turn for the best is really showing and also fixing the pH problem I had also probably helped a lot. Going to push the PPM a little more this week, between 750-850 The color of the buds is really coming through now, especially in the pineapple express and zkittles. The melonsicle seems to be growing much more like a traditional sativa. I feel it's about a week behind schedule with the rest of the plants. It seems to be on a true 9 or 10 week tract at this point. I think the blue gelato is going to be a bust in terms of yield. It just got heavily over shadowed by the other three plants from the beginning. It has stayed quite small and I am not sure it will yield heavily. Hopefully the smoke is quality and I will be impressed enough with my first Barney's Farm experience to try again.
