Week 10 - Fifth Week of Flower The Donutz tent is stepping into its fifth week of flower with some exciting developments and a few surprises. The plants are thriving, and the vibes remain immaculate as the grow progresses. Key Updates: Purple Phenos: 3-4 of the plants are starting to show stunning purple hues in their buds and sugar leaves. The color shift adds a beautiful contrast to the tent and hints at the unique expressions within the Donutz genetics. Different Phenotypes: While most of the plants are stacking up nicely, 1-2 phenos are a bit on the thinner side with less bud density. It’s a reminder of the natural variability in genetics, but there’s still time for them to fill out in the coming weeks. Environment & Care: Stable Conditions: Temperature, watering (reverse osmosis), and overall care are dialed in perfectly. The plants are enjoying a consistent, stress-free environment with plenty of love. Healthy Growth: The rest of the tent is looking strong, with vibrant buds and trichome development continuing to ramp up. Observations: The purple phenos are a standout feature this week, bringing extra visual appeal to the tent. Even the thinner phenos are showing healthy structure and potential to develop further before harvest. Trichome production is increasing, and the tent is starting to radiate that sweet, sticky aroma. Next Steps: Continue monitoring the thinner phenos to ensure they’re getting enough light and nutrients. Maintain stable environmental conditions and nutrient levels to support bud development. Harvest time

D85/FD57 - Should probably put this week down as a "Harvest Week" but hopefully some more to save, even though it will be smaller stuff - right now with the dead loss, everything counts! Really sad too as the plant was looking great!!! Some nice pink flowers in there, just a real pity about its mold resistance!!! :/ Would maybe consider this one more time for a grow when I get the new extraction in but yeah, disappointed is not the word! On the plus side, tent humidity has dropped a fair bit!!! With the work last night culling the Cookies, I was lazy tonight, just did an add back (Didnt clean the Wilma out like I do every week). Put in at normal ratio's but as the base water was EC0.7 (Rather than 0.2), the same recipe took me up to 1.5 (I should have adjusted but seeing as I dont know whats out, i'd rather give enough of whats needed and just dilute through the week (even if daily!!!). Expecting water consumption to drop now with the cookies halved in size and now just waiting on the rest ripening! Lets hope this is the last pain til I get this tent emptied out and cleaned down for a winter run!!! Anyway, happy growing all!!! 💪

Hi Growmies, My apologies for the delayed update, but work life balance got a bit out of wack recently. Anyways, water was changed on time and general maintenance took place. Continued with very light defoliation to really guarantee that all the shoots get equal light exposure. She is turning out to be a real beauty and literally no Scr.O.G was necessary due to her natural structure. Buds are already forming very compact and dense to touch, something that’s always a good sign ;) Since this is my first proper DWC grow I am actually quite impressed by the root growth and the resulting nutrient uptake, as well as vigor in plant growth. Is it btw just me or is this website getting slower, buggier and laggier by the day? Videos won’t upload, weeks don’t reflect, diaries won’t update….

Vamos familia, actualizamos la octava semana de floración de estas Fruit cake de Seedstockers, salieron las 3 de 3, 100% ratio éxito. Temperatura y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos dentro de la etapa de floración. La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 3 ejemplares seleccioné los 2 mejores para completar el indoor, también cambié el fotoperiodo a 12/12 y apliqué una buena poda de bajos, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color y progresan a muy buen tanto que se me fueron de altura un poco, la solución fue doblar un poco las plantas, también están madurando las flores y tienen una capa blanca de tricomas, creo que esta variedad ya no necesita nada d e alimento y ya está solo agua. Day 63 This plant has been trained into a wide, flat shape, with multiple tops spread out evenly across the pot. The structure is low and bushy, clearly influenced by topping or LST, which has opened up the canopy for better light penetration. Leaf color is generally healthy, a strong green with decent vibrancy, though some variation is visible. The lower leaves show stress — one is yellowed and deteriorating, likely from nutrient deficiency (older growth being consumed) or simply natural fading. The canopy looks vigorous and responsive to training, but growth is still somewhat restrained; the plant doesn’t yet have explosive vertical energy. The root zone may still be recovering from earlier stress, but the overall appearance suggests it’s adapting well. Going forward, the key will be to maintain even watering and steady nutrition, supporting strong root activity. Some light defoliation could help airflow under the canopy and direct energy into the developing tops. If conditions stay stable, this plant should be able to bounce back and continue filling the space effectively. Ive got a little Problem with watering , she needs some time to recover

Entering the last weeks of flowering this week will trying to pack as much as I can in the medium and on this coming Sunday I will decide whether or not she gets one more week of nutes or I start flush . 3/03/2021 - Seeds arrived - I let one seed soak in distilled water for 12 hours. Room temperature. The other seed will go straight into a moist paper towel tomorrow. 3/04/2021 - After 12 hours of soaking I moved the seed to a moist paper towel and put in a ziploc bag. I also started another Seedsman Blueberry seed (didn’t soak it as an experiment). I put the ziploc bags in a warm dark spot. I will check it in 24 hours. 3/5/2021 - The seed I let soak for 12 hours has started to root. I’m going to let the tap root get a little bigger before I transfer it to a rock wool cube. I will check the seeds in 6 hours. Well 6 hours later the non soaked seed broke open and exposed a small tap root. Tomorrow they should be ready for rock wool cubes. 3/6/2021 - Moved the seeds to rock wool cubes. We observed that the seed that did not soak, rather just placed into moist paper towels, had the first sprout. We made sure to put root down first with spout over the top of the rock wool. 3/7/2021 - Both seeds have sprouted and are in the humidity dome. They will continue to grow until I see roots. 3/8/2021 - The sprouts look great! We will let them grow until roots appear from the bottom of the cubes. The 3rd cube in the dome is another Seedsman Blueberry we will be growing as a mother plant for clones. 3/9/2021 - Not really much to report. They seem to have stopped stretching and are taking shape nicely. I will continue to keep them in the humidity dome until they root out of the bottom. 3/10/2021 - Today all 3 seedlings had roots showing in the rock wool. I transplanted each one into solo cups filled with Fox Farm Happy Frog. I noticed the cubes were soaked and over watered. The soil will dry it out and I will start feeding them Fox Farm Big Bloom.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week five of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! The girls are all at different early flowering stages, but they are only days apart from each other. I have a bit of a quandary now though, as I am no longer following the nutrient schedule as these plants are too fast for it. So I am unsure whether to start PK warrior or not yet. I have also realised I have probably underfed them in the last week or so, which to be honest isn't a big deal for me right now as they are already waaaaaaaaaaay bigger than expected. Let's talk about that a moment. This strain has an average height of 50-70cm. I wonder if those numbers were for soil grows? It seems for coco you will get even bigger plants. Case in point these six girls measured at 3pm 24/7 day 30 as follows: Plant 1: 111cm Plant 2: 99cm Plant 3: 90cm Plant 4: 89cm Plant 5: 85cm Plant 6: 84cm Plant 3 appears to have stopped stretching and is the most advanced into flower. Plant 4 is right behind it and has slowed down but not yet stopped stretching. Plant 2 is next in terms of flowering development her stretch is slowing. Plant 5 is still stretching rapidly and is coming to the end of preflower. No concern really at 85cm she has some room yet. Plant 6 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Slightly concerned despite her 84cm stature as she has been the most beefy looking plant all along, so I am expecting her to grow a good bit more. Plant 1 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Extremely very concerned about this one. The light is about as high as it can go. 111cm!! I have scoured the internet and the tallest Epsilon F1 I have found was 95cm. It's great that she is so happy this plant, but if she gets much taller I'm going to have to super crop her main cola. Whatever happens I am starting to dream of smashing my yield target out of the park, these girls are all impressive. Hard to believe they are just 30 days old. Plant 1: 126cm Plant 2: 107cm Plant 3: 93cm Plant 4: 94cm Plant 5: 97cm Plant 6: 96cm Plants 3 and 4 have stopped stretching now and are fully into flower. At 93cm and 94cm respectively, by the end of flower these girls may hit 1m but they wont go much more than that. Plant 2 looks to have just about stopped as well. It might go another 10cm overall. Plant 5 is still stretching but I think not much more. Plant 6 is still stretching and I am still expecting quite a bit of growth from her. Then there is plant 1. 126cm and still stretching. It has now grown beyond the height of the light. I hope it can somehow finish itself before it hits the top of the tent. I mean the secondary colas are over 1m already. It is a great shame this giant plant doesn't have more horizontal space to itself, either way it is absolutely shocking to see. I really do not want to super crop her, but am out of options. This grow, incidentally, constitutes the first and last time that I let any indoor cannabis plant go untrained. With basically 4 x 4 x 4 of usable space, training my plants is not really optional - and now you can all see why. This "50-70cm" strain has rapidly outgrown my space. RQS it may be time to revisit the height claims on this strain. Just saying. ### Week 5 Day 6 01:00 28/7 Rearranged the tent and photographed. I have been regularly rotating the plants and periodically moving them around. My problem is now plant one has already hit the top of the tent and there is no easy way to give it anymore space... still not sure what I am supposed to do but it's fine for now... tried to capture the problem with the photos. As well as plant 1, plant 6 looks like it's going to keep going for a good bit yet, and plant 2 is still putting a bit of height on. I took plenty of photos today to try and capture the essence of the jungle. It is quite unbelievable what these plants have done. I just cannot stop looking at them, they are magnificent. I have not fed for 4 days, will probably feed later I am just trying to slow them down a bit by not feeding them. It doesn't seem to be working. ### Week 5 Day 6 23:00 28/7 Defoliated heavily all plants. Fertigated 2l each. Removed some more lower side growth off the smallest plant (plant 3) to make space. Might leave it a few days before I photograph again. Plants 2, 3, and 4 are all well into flowering now, plant 5 is not far behind them, but plants 1 and 6 are still in preflower. :( What is really remarkable right now is the difference in colour between the plants further into flower vs the plants still in preflower. Fat Bastard Auto by MSNL 👉Sponsored Grow👈 W5F2 7/27-8/2 This week I’m still trying to resolve lockout issues on two other plants in the tent by lowering the feed solution ph. I usually ph down the water to 6.6-6.8 and discovered the soil ph rose to +9. This high alkaline status contributed, if not caused the nutrient lockout. This week, I lowered the intake ph to 6.35. This reduced the runoff ph to 7.0-7.82. On 7/30 I saw spots on Fat Bastard. It appears she has been affected by the high ph in the nutrient solution. When I discovered the spots, I put her in the bathtub and flushed her with 2 gallons. 7/31 more spots so I flushed another gallon. Let’s see if I caught and stopped the problems in time. I have been watering 1500 ml with 100ml run off. This is low and I will Increase water to 1750ml next time. Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement.
