The Hobbit Hole – Woche 12 Eine weitere Woche im Hobbit Hole ist vorbei – und langsam beginnt sich die kleine Outdoor-Runde aufzulösen. 😅 Diese Woche hat sich einiges getan. Nicht unbedingt, weil die Pflanzen noch riesige Entwicklungssprünge machen, sondern weil wir inzwischen eindeutig in der Schlussphase angekommen sind. 🍨 Gelato Auto – die Erste verlässt das Hobbit Hole Für die Gelato war diese Woche Schluss. Das zunehmend unbeständige Wetter hat die Entscheidung letztendlich etwas beschleunigt. Viel zusätzliche Entwicklung war nicht mehr zu erwarten und irgendwann wird draußen das Verhältnis zwischen „noch ein bisschen mehr Reife“ und dem Risiko durch Feuchtigkeit einfach schlechter. Also fiel die Entscheidung: Gelato wird als Erste geerntet. ✂️🍨 Damit bleiben von ursprünglich drei Damen noch zwei im Hobbit Hole zurück. ☔ Ein Dach fürs Hobbit Hole Nach dem letzten Wochenupdate gab es außerdem noch ein kleines Upgrade. Am Samstag habe ich über dem Standort ein Tarp gespannt, damit die drei bei Regen nicht mehr völlig ungeschützt stehen. Gerade jetzt auf den letzten Metern möchte ich die Buds möglichst trocken halten und ihnen trotzdem noch jeden brauchbaren Sonnentag mitgeben. Aus dem Hobbit Hole ist damit endgültig eine kleine überdachte Outdoor-Höhle geworden. 😂 👠 Cinderella Auto Cindy ist inzwischen kaum noch zu übersehen, wenn man nach Zeichen der Endblüte sucht. Das Laub wird zunehmend gelb und die Pflanze zieht sichtbar ihre letzten Reserven aus den älteren Blättern. Gleichzeitig sehen die Buds weiterhin gesund und ordentlich bereift aus. Besonders der Headbud hat sich schön entwickelt. Unter dem Mikroskop wird es mittlerweile ebenfalls interessant: Viele Trichome sind milchig, daneben finden sich noch klare Köpfe und bereits die ersten eindeutig bernsteinfarbenen Exemplare. Sie ist damit klar in der Schlussphase angekommen. 🔬 Noch sehe ich keinen zwingenden Grund, sie sofort umzuhauen. Solange das Wetter mitspielt und das Tarp seinen Job macht, bekommt Cindy noch etwas Zeit. 💜 Purple Punch Auto Und Purple… nun ja. Den Namen muss man inzwischen wirklich niemandem mehr erklären. 😂💜 Sie hat sich wunderschön verfärbt. Dunkles Violett, rötliche Töne, teilweise fast schwarze Blätter und dazu die helle Trichombedeckung – optisch ist sie momentan ganz klar der Star im Hobbit Hole. Auch bei ihr ist der Fade inzwischen deutlich sichtbar und die Pflanze steckt offensichtlich nicht mehr viel Energie in Blattmasse. Beim Mikroskopcheck wirkt Purple momentan etwas weiter als Cindy. Viele der sichtbaren Trichomköpfe sind bereits milchig, einzelne bernsteinfarbene sind vorhanden, während sich dazwischen weiterhin klare Köpfe finden. Ganz exakt möchte ich hier bewusst keine Prozentzahlen nennen – gerade auf den Zuckerblättern erscheinen Trichome häufig früher bernsteinfarben als direkt auf den Kelchen. 🔬 Jetzt entscheidet das Mikroskop – und das Wetter Damit sind Cindy und Purple beide auf den letzten Metern. Ich werde jetzt nicht versuchen, auf Teufel komm raus noch möglichst viele Tage herauszuquetschen. Wenn das Wetter halbwegs mitspielt, dürfen sie weiterreifen. Wird es allerdings wieder dauerhaft nass und ungemütlich, ist mir eine gesunde Ernte wichtiger als das letzte bisschen zusätzliche Reife. Das neue Tarp verschafft mir dabei zumindest etwas mehr Spielraum. Nach Woche 12 steht damit fest: Gelato ist durch. 🍨✂️ Cindy steht kurz davor. 👠🔬 Purple wird immer dunkler und reifer. 💜 Und das Hobbit Hole hat jetzt sogar ein Dach. 😂 Mal schauen, wie viele Bewohner beim nächsten Update überhaupt noch übrig sind. Die Ernteberichte stelle ich fertig wenn alle Pflanzen durch sind🏻

I welcome you from Russia my friends from different parts of the world. The end of 16 weeks has come. Plants already fully show their ripeness, and buds SAG from their weight. Soon I will be harvesting, as soon as I get the final dry product I will make the last update of this diary.

9/21 No video upload so no update 9/22 Week 10 update... finally Looks good but going to add more Phos due to some red stems showing upping to 3ml/g 9/23 Reducing Bloom nuets @10% a day for a couple, down to the 80% mark now Add Soul Peak PK to mix as well as Koolbloom need to use up the Peak and we want to see if it brings anything special. Be in flush within 7-10 days on all but the sativa FF2 Vids up 9/25 Adjusted nuets slightly 9/26 Like where the plants are so leaving nuets as is 9/27 And the tricones have over ruled me they are getting ready, 80-90% white 10-20% clear so taking the nuets to our ripening doses. Had 1mm of rain in the last month, responding well to very little water, drip irrigated a few hours once a week. I spent so much time hauling water jugs for feeding last year, this is a treat..

Plant is still tiny, grew 5cm / 2". It looks like it's slowly dying. The original leaves at the bottom went brown so I removed them. Some of the upper ones don't look great either. It's not a calcium deficiency. The bottom of the pot was very dry so I rinsed the soil with plain water. The dryness is the result of: A) me having to add a heater B) the blumat auto watererers focussing the wanter in specific areas. The roots clump around the waterers thus everything else drys up. I need to water directly from now on and look to fix this problem going forward.

The leaves are weird on some branches. Also have lits of gnats. How do I rid of them?

Plucked a few more leaves but other than that just feed them this week including bloom. Also gave them some rice starch (from boiled rice water collection) on day 42 as a boost for the microbes 👍 Turned the IR off now and turned up to 34000lux

Day 36: Girls looking pretty happy. Still some discoloration going on. Doesn't look to be spreading though. Day 37: Ok, the girls obviously were not happy this morning. I watered with quite a good amount of runoff and measure the PPM at 3200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm surprised they are still alive! Had to make a quick run to get some water for a flush as I only have 5 gallons worth. Ran 2 gallons through each of them at a ph of 6.4 around 9:30 this morning. It's now 5pm and they have pulled through great. These OG Kush are extremely resilient. Day 38: The girls look way better today after flushing yesterday. Two of the pots were almost completely dry already. Went ahead and fed at 500ppm with runoff. Day 39: I think it's dialed in now. They are looking amazing and still stretching pretty good. Went ahead and pulled off a handful of leaves between the 5 of em. Day 40: Did a little more defoliation and opened them up a bit. I am super worried about getting any type of mold or any issues in particular for this first round. One of the girls needs a touch more but ran out of time. Girls are looking super healthy! 💪 Day 41: They are looking super awesome. Got the runoff dialed in. 750 going in and roughly 800 coming out. May up it in a week or so. Day 42: Nothing new to update. Girls still looking amazing. I think the stretch may be slowing just a tad.

Venga familia que ya viene la cosecha de estas finta F1 de ZamnesiaSeeds, que ganas que tenia ya de darles machetazo, me estaban dando muchos quebraderos de cabeza. Las flores no son para nada llamativas, una variedad más cruzada con rudelaris, que para mi gusto es perder el tiempo y el dinero invertido en cultivar cosas así… no merece la pena en interior, el ratio de gramo watio se me quedó en 0.5 , de los no peores resultados que tuve en los últimos 5 años. a sido una genética con la que no disfruté nada cultivarla, es complicada, es bastante sensible. Día 34 y casi final de esta quinta semana de desarrollo. Las plantas se ven bien sanas y fuertes, sobre todo esta Wedding Glue que desarrolló una estructura grande y fuerte. Espero todo siga así de bien y estas bellas damas se expresen a su antojo! Buenos Humos!

DAY 57 - 10/11/24 - Everything is looking good. I am noticing the bud sites are growing taller and thicker. I rotated and placed the plants for optimal light. I lowered the light a bit more. The feed is flowing, but very slowly. I wonder if there is a clog? The individual reses are full, the coco is wet. I am unsure what this all means. NIGHT (12-2AM) AVE: T 74.0 H 53.3 V 1.34 DAY AVE: T 76.2 H 53.5 V 1.43 DAY 58 - 10/12/24 - Rotated plants, res moving on down. Plants feeding, loving life. Temps a little higher than I would like. I spread and tucked the plants. They are making great progress. There is no more burnt rubber band smell. It has given way to a sweet, kind of citrus, bubblegum, cotton candy scent. All throughout. The bud sites are swelling and blasting out terpenes. Plants are due for another haircut in the next few days. Lots of moisture and stickiness deep within the plants. Top leaves are all healthy dark green, some slight nute burn at the very tips like I want, some slight dry burn spots on the already noted plants, no changes there. I still plan on cutting all the gross leave off. Maybe later today?. The bottom leaves, the newest, light protected growth are all bright light green, like the weird extra little baby arms on the scientist in that one episode of The Venture Bros. Some of the random “bigger” leaves that I left last time are now jutting through the middle of the plant, searching for light. I am trying to tuck more mobile lower branches on top of the thicker and more rigid branches. This will expose the lower sites to more light, and gently bend the bigger stalks until they accommodate the smaller ones. I believe the flowers are finally starting to effect my allergies. Exciting!! And kind of annoying, but maybe this way I will build up a tolerance now that I know it’s coming. I will start additional allergy medicine to mitigate the sneezing. I want the feed to run almost empty before I refill. Res has bout 1.5-2.5 gals remaining. The individual reses are still filling. When the feed is nearly empty, hopefully later tonight, I am going to check the sponge spout for clogs. I might dump the nute feed out and wash out the res. I am considering working the Kelp down to nothing. I need to do some research on solutions for this or if running kelp through a hydro system is just a bad idea altogether. I am also exploring the Dynamic Wind settings. I want to reduce the stress on my fans. I don’t think the growth has slowed down and I do not notice any signs of stress. I believe the plants are nearly done stretching, now they should swell, and then condense as harvest comes nearer. Less than a month now. I also moved the vornado van out of the front right vent towards the back of the room. Then I closed the vent. Temps are noticeably cooler. The inline and exhaust fans are can work a little lower now. NIGHT (12-2AM) AVE: T 72.1 H 54.4 V 1.22 DAY AVE: T 75.7 H 50.1 V 1.51 DAY 61 - 10/15/24 - Plants are drinking heavy again. I meant to mix up more feed last night, but I had to prioritize a gig that popped up. I fed a gallon of water between feeds. Not quite a flush, more of a nutrient stretch. I added 6 gals of proper feed in the early afternoon. I am very happy with how the plants look and smell and stick. I love the Autopots, I love Cropsalt, and Dynomyco, and I especially love Speedrun Seeds. Good companies. Good products. Noticed a small leak, leading to an autopot individual res overflow on Back Right. I think I fixed it, but I need to double check tomorrow AM. The water blowing over the water will help cool the tent at least. The tent smells so good, the flowers are getting so pretty. FEED: 1 gal tap water, no PH FEED: 6 gal water, 2.4ml CS RC, 6ml Kelp, 6ml Silica, 30ml CalMag, 210ml CS A/B Bloom, PH’d TO 5.6. NIGHT (12-2AM) AVE: T 70.7 H 55.2 V 1.14 DAY AVE: T 74.3 H 52.6 V 1.37 DAY 62 - 10/16/24 - The leak seems resolved. Feeding normally now. A little moist in the tent from all the water evaporating. But everything is otherwise fine. I rotated and tucked and measured the light (no change recently). The feed lines seem good. The flower is packing and stacking. I wonder if it would be even more so if I got the veg nutes right. I assume the plant would have more plant to utilize in Flower. Maybe it would pack more and higher. I wonder about the difference in density. For my next run I am going to run 4 of the dame plants, but grow them with different methods: no touching, Mainline, LST + Defoliating, and Topping + LST + Defoliating. I may choose slightly different methods, but this is where my curiosity is taking me right now. Ok. There was another slight leak. I believe it is fixed now. I may want to consider taping the lines closed for my next run. Autopots are surely the way to go, but they do have weaknesses that can be mitigated with proper forethought, NIGHT (12-2AM) AVE: T 69.3 H 57.7 V 1.03 DAY AVE: T 74.2 H 52.6 V 1.37 DAY 63 - 10/17/24 - The leak may have not been 100% capped. It should be now. I rotated and tucked the plants. Raised the light 2 clicks. New feed. NO MORE Silica or Kelp. Only CalMag and Bloom Until Cake (last two weeks) where I will drop the CalMag. FEED: 6 gal water, 2.4ml CS RC, 30ml CalMag, 210ml CS A/B Bloom, PH’d TO 5.4.

Woche 15 - Blütewoche 9 von 10-11 Das Ende ist nah! Und es gibt nur noch Wasser pur ;-) Sie hat fast keinen Durst mehr. Wasser reduziert bis unter 2 Liter pro 24h. Ende der Woche habe ich umgestellt auf Blumat - automatische Wasserversorgung ohne Pumpe. Sie zieht sich so das Wasser von selbst aus dem Eimer, ich schätze 1-1,5 Liter pro 24h. -- noch mehr Bilder folgen heute od. morgen. Anfang der Woche 10 werde ich die Heizung aus schalten und nur noch die Matte von unten auf 18°C an lassen. Nacht Temperaturen draußen sind aktuell bei 5°C und fallend, nächste Woche haben wir bis -1°C. Temperaturen im Raum sind bei 15°C konstant, bei RLF 50%, letzte Nacht sogar bei 45%. -- geplante Ernte am Wochenende 13 + 14.01.2023 Licht : Lumii Black Blade 200W bei 100% Lumii Black Bar 30W UV/FR Temperaturen im Keller 16-17°C. Temperaturen im Growzelt: 18-22°C - Heizmatte 20°C - Infrarot Heizmatte hängend 21°C Lüften 2-3 mal am Tag + Fenster offen in der Nacht Wasser PH : 8.4 runter auf 6.3 Rlf : 54-60% Es lebe die Pflanze - seih high und vergnügt !!

No major changes this week but the plant is still taking 2ltrs of water every 2nd night. I have stopped giving nutrients now so it’s just getting Ph’d water. Some of the lower leaves are turning yellow as expected. From this week on I’ll be dropping the temperature a bit during lights out to help produce more trichomes and also turn it a bit more purple.

I consider this the first full week of real bloom, and she looks beautiful. For now, I'm just letting her grow. I don't want to defoliate yet, but it will happen very soon. I had no problems at all this week and enjoyed watching her grow.
