Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our "Grandaddy Purple" from Blimburn Seeds! 8/24: I did some selective defoliation to help increase light penetration. Next watering will be a flush with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm's flush agent SledgeHammer. A flush is recommended after week 3 in the Fox Farm Feeding chart. I figure the recommended flush will do some good considering I have a lot of coco in the mix and there are small amounts of salt fertilizer in my schedule. She is really starting to do some stretching and she has an abundance of growing shoots. She has a few leaves that look textured or "crinkled". I tried doing some searches and not sure if this is due to a virus or some other factor. She is center in the tent and the only plant being grown in a fabric pot. She has also been vegging longer than any of the other plants in the garden. She was a survivor from previous run when I almost killed all my plants (did kill one) trying to kill so spider mites. This is the only plant presenting these abnormalities. I gave a lot of detail about the abnormal leaves because I am hoping someone may be able to help me troubleshoot. 8/28: Flushed the medium with tap H2O run through 2 KDF filters with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Sledgehammer flushing agent and pH adjusted to 6.2. I started by giving 5 gallons. After checking the PPM of the runoff I ended up adding 5 more gallons mixed to same specifications. 10 gallons total was shared by 3 large flowering photoperiod cultivars and 1 smaller autoflower. She probably ended up with about 3 gallons give or take. I didn't measure how much each plant received. I just kept flushing each and checking runoff until it was under 1600 ppm. GSC Extreme autoflower from ILGM has grown really well. Looking really dense, and smelling great. Full of trichromes. She was a late bloomer, but made up for it when she did. Looks like a heavy yield of some dank buds. The Viparspectra P4000 worked excellent. Thank you ILGM, and Viparspectra. Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 It's my first harvest on this community and I'm loving it. Everyone always ready to help each other and have great feedback. Tracking my grow on here has made it way easier. There were times that I misplaced notes or forgot what I did or when with a certain strain and all I had to do was come on here and check it. Also motivated me take more pictures and do more logs. All out great site. Don't know how I haven't found it earlier. HIGHLY recommend for all growers. The grow cycle went pretty smooth. She's easy to grow and flowers early so you can't do much training. That being said it's great for beginners. 👌 Had no problems with pests on these, while on the other plants (none cannabis) in the balcony I had issues with spider mites. They grew better than expected given the few hours of direct sunlight they received. Results were good, I was expecting 10-15 grams per plant and ended up with a tad bit more. Drying went a bit fast because there were few buds. I probably could have took it down a few degrees as well.. my fault on that part. They dried in 4 days, they've been curing for 10 days. I normally test them after 15 days but they smelled so good I had to try them. Smell: Lovely earthy, woody, slightly like diesel. Quite pungent for being autos. Taste: Just as it smells.. leaving a nice after taste of diesel. Touch: Very sticky, dense buds. They break down finely in the grinder. Cleaned the grinder before testing and after 4 joints ( 2 grams or so) I already have a good amount of kief collected in the bottom. (Check photo) Might grow this one again just to make some bubble hash. The high is awesome nice uplifting, long lasting energetic but without a heavy euphoric rush. Reminds me of a smooth haze high, although if you smoke a lot even being an experienced smoker, she'll get to you. Only down side is dry mouth, very dry mouth! Have some water on hand because your mouth will transform into a desert. 😂 Great strain to kick start the day. Beginner smokers take it easy with this one. She hits hard! 👊

This week repot to 3L and change spectrum

Trichomes are 100% cloudy Plan to flush tomorrow when the pot is dry and harvest Sunday which will be day 68. Day 67 : Decided to flush one more time for a final push.

Plant is developing healthy and fast. 2.4 ml/L Plagron Hydro A & B and 1 ml/L Plagron CalMag Pro, mixed into a total of 13 liters of water like the weeks before. PH adjusted to 5.5 with Hesi PH-. Plant using about 1.5l per day. Plant getting thirsty. Took 2 more big leafs away, nothing more. Just refilled the bucket and adjusted the lamp ————————- Deutsch Pflanze entwickelt sich gesund und schnell weiterhin gleiches Düngerschema 2.5 ml/L Plagron Hydro A & B mit 1 ml/L Plagron CalMag Pro, in ca 13l Wasser. PH auf 5.5 angeglichen mit Hesi pH-. Pflanze trinkt circa 1,5 l am Tag. Wird langsam durstig. 2 m mehr abgenommen und den unteren Trieben mehr Licht zur Verfügung zu stellen. Lampenabstand angepasst.

It’s the last week of flowering, and I’ve moved the plant into 48 hours of darkness to help boost trichome production before harvest. ✨ The plant has developed an incredibly deep purple color and is covered with trichomes—so much so that it sparkles under any light. The scent is amazing, filling the room with a sweet, candy-like fragrance with a touch of diesel. 🍬 When I trimmed a few leaves to prep for harvest, my scissors actually turned purple from the resin! That’s a first for me and shows just how rich and sticky the trichomes are on this plant. 😮✂️💜 I’m so excited to see how it looks and smells once it’s fully dried. This grow has been unforgettable! 😁🌿✨

07/10/2025 19:00 15.6°C 54%RH Another week with loads of rain passed,this time was so heavy that i waited two days of sun to come back and even if so i found the pots pretty full of water These days were so cold with nights under 10°C but the plants looks good so It's ok Forecast says next week will be fully sunny with no rain, temperature will raise to 24/25 °C during days which is aligned to my place in this period #1 Apricot auto 76 days from seed Last video right before harvest #2 gorilla z auto 102 days from seed Harvest for these branches too,i will update with smoke report and the final weight #3 Coco fresh 68 days from seed This plant won't stop surprising me,in a week the bud development was enormous with a nice coat of resin Even if this one started flowering later Is now officially outstanding the Coco Milk The smell Is unbelievable a 50/50 ratio of gassy and creamy flavour with a tropical candy hint like an original runtz,i can't wait to see how this comes out With these cold days leaves are fading to the blue/purple side What is surprising me the most Is how the flowers looks,full of pistils,full of trichomes,perfect calix/leaf ratio and dense medium/small size exactly what i'm looking for #4 Coco Milk 80 days from seed

She looks gorgeous,super healthy and green, she's definitely loving the super soil I prepared for her, seems to be developing very good after the topping let's see how she turns out. I also applied a selective defoliation to uncover the lower growth on july 25th she was planted on june 22nd so she's 33 days old now,let's see what happens with this beautiful lady😊💚❤️💛 peace ✌️

Hallo meine Garten Freunde. Ich hoffe euch geht’s allen gut, leider kommen die Abschluss Berichte jetzt nach und nach, weil einige Strains ein bisschen länger brauchen als andere. Ich bin zufrieden mit diesem Grow wie er verlaufen ist, ich glaube der Ertrag hätte höher ausfallen können, aber das liegt nicht an der Sorte oder an dem Equipment. Es liegt meistens immer an dem Mensch was der draus macht, und da ich noch mein Optimum suche kann einiges gut oder schlecht verlaufen. Aber wie ich erwähnt habe bin ich zufrieden. Die Blüten haben sich zum Schluss richtig schön entwickelt und sind schön kompakt geworden, jetzt wo die Buds getrocknet sind, sind die auch Steinhart, wenn man die Buds auf eine Oberfläche fallen lässt hört man ein richtiges klock Geräusch. Das Blatt zu Blüten Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Diesen Strain würde ich wieder anbauen, dann aber nur mit einer Trainings Methode. Ich denke das war auch das Problem das ich die Pflanzen zu klein gehalten habe. Trotzdem haben die Ladys mir schöne dicke Buds geschenkt, es gab fast keine Popcorn Buds. Wenn ich eine Trainings Methode empfehlen würde dann Fimming oder Topping das haben alle sehr gut weggesteckt. Mit unter Düngung kommt sie gut zurecht aber nach einer Zeit zeigt sie dir was sie möchte. Das entlauben war auch kein Problem. Das einzige was sie nicht so gerne mag ist nasse Füße, aber auch davon erholen sich die Pflanzen relativ schnell wieder. Es ist eine sehr stabile Sorte, der man einiges abverlangen kann bis sie zickt. Da hat Royal Queen Seeds sich selber übertroffen und eine sehr robuste Sorte kreiert. Ein Riesen Respekt und ein Riesen Dankeschön für diese tolle Sorte und das ihr sie mit dem Rest der Welt teilt. Last week of veg before flip gave them a good defoliation and double feed ..... will defoliate again at day 20 of flower , but so far so good am pleased with the veg stage

Good day to all my friends and visitors here on GD. Decided to finally finish this diary, I took my time with his one ;) Now we cut the second POGP auto plant, the first cut you can find in week 17. The plant from week 17 weighted 660g. wet, this one finished at 1,85kg. wet. The girls where autoflower but thanks to me starting this grow in cold day temps (14 degree Celsius) the started flower really late, maybe that's also the reason for all my problems with this strain during the grow?! The two plants where different phenotypes, the smaller one (from Week 17)though small had nice hard flowers, the bigger one as the only plant from four I grew during the growop started foxtailing. Both of them branched nicely the smell was quite strong and awoul xD like gasoline and something rotten, it smelled so bad i checked a couple times under microscope for any signs of mold in the flower and to my suprise I found nothing. Thank God later during drying the smell would subdue to a more generic "hazediesel" smell -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SE7000 done it's magic with this grow as with all my other grow ops. Aug 31: Fast. I got home from work today and could see a notable increase on the flowers. Very exciting. Sep 2: plants are fine but we’re having yet another bad air day due to wildfire smoke. The red tint on the photos is due to smoke. This is pretty bad, but it was worse a few times in May. It’s supposed to clear later this weekend. Sep 3: still smoky but rained a bit which helps. Gorilla Cookies has the best flowers but also seemed to catch the most rainwater in the buds. Gave each branch a shake to help prevent problems. Sep 4: soil is holding water since the last compost tea. This reduction in infiltration rate can happen apparently, and the trick is to not overwater it. It’s also cool today so minimal water used. Sep 5: cool today with gusty winds that blew over Bruce and Gelato. Small footprint of the 5 gallon bag isn’t quite big enough to be stable when plant is this big. Trade off with using a more easily moved size, and that should also help promote early flowering.
