I killed 3-4 bugs around the tent and dont see anything else for the moment. Both of the Gorilla Zkittlez’s looking good and frosty and all of them except the tallest Gorilla Cookies, I think it was meant for bigger spaces :D Anyway assuming last 2 weeks before chop

Some of the leaves have been starting to yellow indicating that the plants are now needing a little more feed and are getting towards the end of their life cycle! The smell of the gelato x gmo is overwhelming when I first approach the plants, and the blueberry x mother of Berry is a more subtle sweet/fruity smell.

What up fam, weekly update on these lovely ladies. I put the scrog net out this week for support and am I glad I did. Only after a couple days they grew right through it. The greenhouse is 6'5 feet tall and they're pushing 5'6. I'll go in there and take off some of the lower fan leafs at the bottom but not to much defoliation needed. I'm seeing preflowers so I'll also switch the nutes from grow to bloom. All in all Happy Growing.

The increased CO2 allows plants to thrive at higher temperatures, which in turn necessitates higher humidity to maintain the ideal VPD for healthy growth and transpiration. 80F -5F = 75F LST with 70% RH = 0.72 kPa. Higher temperatures and humidity promote rapid growth, nutrient uptake, and photosynthesis while maintaining a lower stress level. Temperature influences the rate of enzymatic reactions involved in aerobic respiration. Enzymes, such as those involved in glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain, work most efficiently at an optimal temperature range. In low temperatures, enzymatic activity will slow down, thus reducing the rate of aerobic respiration. In high temperatures, enzymes can become denatured, thus impairing their function and stopping the process of aerobic respiration. Glucose is the primary fuel for aerobic respiration. The rate of aerobic respiration increases with the availability of glucose, as it is the starting point for glycolysis. If glucose levels are low, cells may rely on alternative energy sources such as fatty acids or amino acids , but these processes may yield less ATP or be less efficient. To determine this effect, carbon dioxide volume was measured (as carbon dioxide is an output of aerobic respiration) 18/6 with the 6 being IR. The near infrared (IR-a) borders around 700nm up to 1400nm @ photon par flux density of 1.8 instead of darkness, keeping temps overnight a neat 77F-80F. Think of my tent as a lung. What goes in must come out. When the rate of air going out exceeds the amount of air coming in, it creates a negative pressure. Tent concaves (bends in). If set up correctly, your RH will begin to drop slowly to the desired level you set, and the extraction turns off when it reaches desired% RH. The plant, as it performs cellular respiration, will always be releasing more water into the air, so the RH% of the tent overnight will always increase, so long as oxidative phosphorylation is occurring. As soon as the RH% creeps back up to 55%, the extraction turns back on, over and over. This creates a strong pressure differential which will work wonders on your grow. Replicating high and low-pressure fronts in nature. Critical for oxygen diffusion at the critical time of peak cellular respiratory function.. Moisture will not transfer from a saturated atmosphere to another if that air is already at or above its saturation point, meaning the air can't hold any more water vapor. Once I understood that water is produced as a by product during cellular respiration, specifically at the very end of the electron transport chain (ETC) where electrons are finally transferred to molecular oxygen, the higher the RH of the air, the more resistance there is for more moisture to be added to that environment, and effects the ease with which it does so. But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, and then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. Dictating how long it's allowed to sit in any one location for any given period is a key preferred control. To ensure a net reduction in a bacterial population, the rate of removal (ET) must exceed the rate of bacterial growth (decay rate), which is often modeled as a growth rate for the specific bacterium under the given conditions. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77°F.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, results in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow more slowly to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. So i had to chop this down due to hot water snd starts to foxtail quite a lot so i decided to chop allready can see some ambers so all is good very heavy colas and smells super sweet

420Fastbuds FBT2311/Week 3 What up grow fam. Weekly update for these stunning girls. Up to this point they've been growing picture perfect . Not really doing anything special besides still feeding nutes every other watering 500ml. I'll double the feed this week taking it to 1000ml/1 liter per every other day. Not seeing any burn signs from introducing nutes so will keep that the same strength. All in all Happy Growing

Don't have a lot of time these days to take pics so I'll sum things up. CO2 got outta control and the plants took tf off literally. The video is around middle of week 3, I had to flip at week 4 BC I literally ran out of room and I had to constantly defoliate.

Corn fed. Day 17. - The ghetto CO2 generator did it's thing! They all exploded yesterday. I fed this morning @ full strength (1mL/L) Green Buzz Organig Grow Liquid, with about 1.5tsp molasses, and 1mL of Bokashi EM Juice (not bokashi tea, but the EM inoculant). After feeding I tied up and down. Ponytails for the top fan leaves, to expose the bottom nodes. And stakes to get the bottom nodes a bit more horizontal. Super Critical was the girl who got seriously droopy after the first round of LST. I'm fairly certain I ripped a few roots. But she bounced back fast AF, and is looking sensational. I bumped up the smell in my diary to 'strong'. It's not flower smell yet, but the veg smell is reeking. A friend noticed it as soon as I opened my vent-room door. But the good news is that she said she couldn't smell anything before then. When I open the tent, it's so strong that it's dank already. Again, not a flower smell...but I've never smelled a stronger veg-oder than these. Nobody could ever convince me that yeast is futile or too much work. The growth from day 16-->17 was simply mind-blowing. I'm expecting more tomorrow, after the heavy feeding today. Day 20. So...some news. Yesterday I got the new fan. Freaking sweet- screw that clip on fan nonsense. And today, I've been busy. Non-tent related... I put together a worm farm. So I'm hoping for castings in a few months. Fed the bokashi bucket. I've had a problem with fungus flies (look like gnats, but live in soil). Elsewhere, notice that this falls under 'Non-tent related' :D. So I removed the top inch of soil in that houseplant, sprayed a soapy water mixture and covered with 1.5 inches of sand. I'm including this here, because I was terrified that those dudes would somehow find their way to my tent (on the other side of the house). But I think I've seen the last of them. Tent related... I watered with a nice castings tea that brewed for about 24 hours. I hope I didn't f*ck up. I hit GG and Strawberry Cheesecake with it before I pH'ed it down. So they got dosed at around 7.6. I went back to them and hit them with a cup of pH'ed tea (6.5). Then the light cut off, and it was their bedtime. I had to wait for LST until after their nap. But while they were on black out, I got a package. Some dope-AF smartplugs. I can now control my LED, my exhaust, and my air mover from my phone. There's a built in digital timer where I can schedule on/off's. And it *measures* my usage! :D How cool is that?! Welcome to the space age. I also got a USB microscope, which is also badass. So look for pics from that in the coming weeks... Later when the light went back on (courtesy of my new smartplug!) I went back and did LST and pics for today.

02/08/20 (Sunday) 9AM - Continuing off of the great progress of last week I decided to take the initiative and attempt 'repairs' to the photosynthesis of my plants with compromised leaves using surgical tape. Unfortunately after one too many readjustments on one of the first true leaves of the SVG I caused some minor lacerations on the leaf; it should be fine though. 11AM - All four plants were fed. 5PM - I decided that it would be more beneficial to just defoliate the first true leaves and start lst on the SVG so it'll have a little more energy to grow the tops. Left the top leaf on the abandoned original stem to help with photosynthesis and not over stress the plant all at once. 03/08/20 The SVG seems to have responded positively to the training and is growing rapidly. 04/08/20 Had an exhausting day yesterday and fell asleep before I could turn off the grow light leading to the plants getting 24+ hours of continuous light. None seemed to be stressed and were immediately put to sleep for 6 hours before continuing their light cycle with a shorter day so they'd fall back on schedule. 05/08/20 The plants enjoyed a new record of 10 hours in the sunlight and are starting to look ready to stay outside for the entire day. Noticed one fan leaf on the Jam had evidence of leaf miners and decided to remove it to free up wasted energy for the plant. 06/08/20 More leaves are showing signs of miner activity so I feel it may be time to start considering an early topping. 07/08/20 I decided to do an early top on all single cola plants at their third from the bottom 3+ leaf node to help control the miner problem. Considering keeping the plants as indoor instead because pests seem to be targeting them in my gallery garden, but none of my other species of plants. Took some advice and squeezed all the leaves on the Jam to kill the leaf miners. 08/08/20 All leaf miner progress seems to have been halted.

Week 3... She was still gooning but growth started to EXPLODE!! So I decided to LST her a bit and see what that’s all about. I may or may not have week 2-3 photos mixed a bit. I’m putting this together in week 4 so I don’t have the best documentation from back then šŸ˜…

Kabul #2 entwickelt langsam aber sicher ihre Blüten entlang der Haupttriebe. Die Knollen werden langsam praller. Die Entfernung von BlƤtter und den untersten Blüten zeigt ihre Wirkung. Die Energie geht jetzt in die Mainbuds. Ansonsten ist die Kabul sehr stabil und macht keinerlei Schwierigkeiten. Alles in Allem bin ich sehr zufrieden und schau der Kabul beim wachsen zu. āœŒļø

05/21/24. Going into week 3 flower Things are going pretty good with these girls health and happiness wise. As for Betsy I’m honestly not thrilled with her be the trellis. I don’t think it’s really worked well for her and most of her growth hasn’t even made it to the trellis. Tree has really amazed me. The turn around she’s had is crazy. From a terribly structured, goofy, no branch having weirdo, to a decent looking little plant. I’m glad I didn’t toss her when she was little and I take back saying she wasn’t worth putting into the tent. She’s small, but strong, and the branch I broke has done fine in healing and is growing a bud so yay. :) Haven’t fed as I’ve still seen no reason to.. and somehow still see what seems like a bit too much N, which with no feeding..I’m still not understanding. Just been giving water with silica and calmag as of now. Still have these girls containers up on wood to keep them near the same as the rest of the canopy as possible. Lights at about 75% and 22 inches up. Temperature 73-82. Humidity about 50% I’m not sure what I’ll do as for under trellis cleanup here. B has most of her self under the trellis, so if I removed everything under I think she’d have like 3-4 branches LOL. Tree seems pretty chillen. I don’t think much even needs to be done. Guess I’ll figure something out. That’s about it for now. Thanks for lookin

So this week I took the decision to bend over her cola to clear the lights. I didn't want to scrape any THC off when she's moved šŸ˜‚ Week 2 of flowering is going well. She's doing her thing.

Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making thier way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.
