It been a great week..Bud sites are prominent now and I love the node spacing, these should be some top heavy girls very soon lol.. we noticed some yellowing on some of the taller plants, we attributed this to our earlier PH drama but its likely light stress so we moved the fixture up a few more inches (no light meter 😞 ... ).. We're still yellowing some but mostly on the larger plant..I'm not entirely sure what's going on.. I lifted the light a little more and raised PH to 6.8 for last watering, we'll see what happens

Start of week 8 and the plants are crowning all over the place, except for the sativa dominate pheno. All plants will get water only for week 8 and 9 , looks like they will be ready for harvest at 9 1/2 weeks. Pheno number 2 looks to be the only one fastest to mature.
So far the gavita pro 1700e is out performing 1000 watt hps hands down had to plug in the hps on days when outdoor temps is in the mid 80 degree just to get grow room temps to hit 83 to 84 degrees so co2 gets used more efficiently. Looks like the gravitas will crush it in dry weight too.

Last week of veg, i think these girls will start to flower the next couple of days! At the moment great results under this TS1000 as always! We gave a very light nutrients this week just to jave some nitrogen as im using a light mix as soil, lets see how it goes the next weeks 😁💪

after 48 hours of complete darkness (important for seedlings to make sure all plants switch into flower same time), I finally switched my lights to the 12/12 schedule and sent my ladies into the flower.
- This one Phenos super strong
- more than healthy and going well
- Day 3: Foliar spray with APTUS Regulator and APTUS Nutrispray to give them extra micronutrients and give them a little shell for protection.
! always use APTUS Regulator first and mix well with your water before adding any other nutrients for Feeding or Foliar!

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down ,
I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting ,

well, my sativa disappoints me greatly, it is not clear for what reason the flowering stage passes so slowly, the lamp that was at the whole stage with it is 120w phyto LED. At the initial stage, the trunk grew very steeply and the branches became very large, hard and very strong, but but when the color stage came, the speed dropped significantly, in general, the plant does not smell much, the smell resembles dill)) I think she will have to wait another couple of weeks for the final finish

Uploading and updating each week content on daily bassis so please revisit this diary if week not over yet.
So far all going great. Girls looking very healthy and happy. Due to my short trip had to leave my 🍌💜👊 girls unsupervised for 3 days. Was stunned when opened my cabinet on the Dec 5th. Athena stretched like crazy. Good 3 inches. She better slow down as not much roof space left for her. May tie some taller branches to netting if necessary. Introducing blooming nutes for the first time this week on December 6th at smaller dosage and on the second watering as listed.

Heavier selective defoliation on both girls. Athena fully lolipopped and Xena at 75%. Watered with 8 ltr beetwen both with perfect runoofs PH 6.4. Girls were very thirsty 🤤

Just enjoying how my girls developing. Frost has landed and they are start showing colours. All is looking great.

Second watering for this week 7 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH 6.4
Even with so much difrence in size of my 🍌💜👊 girls it seems that they are drinking my juice almost equally.

Applied selective defoliation and tied 3 tallest branches of Athena to netting to avoid any potential burns on these beautiful baby colas.

Not much going on yet. Added some 3d printed supports to make sure they don't start flopping over. Not sure if it's the strain, or my idiocy, but these bastards are soooo leggy. Grr. Watering daily to 15% runoff with MegaCrop 2 part in RO at 0.6EC and 5.6pH. Found Mega Crop gives very stable pH on the right range without any pH up or down needed. Took one day off (3/18) watering to water with Silica Boost at 6ml/gal concentration pHed to 5.4. PPFD 300 at canopy for DLI of 20. PPFD was about 20 for first week while I was prepping and sanitizing the grow room, which might explain the leggyness. If they don't look better after topping, I might pull them and try a different strain.
3/20 - this grow is inspired by the techniques of Bruce Bugbee (PPFD, nutrition, EC monitoring, substrate, environment, etc) and the concept of VPD control, both of which served me very well in the past. The grow room has dual PID controls in my PLC regulating the temperature and humidity to lock in the VPD based on plant age. In later veg and flower, I had CO2 injection on a PID, but that ultimately failed because I couldn't get the humidity down as it got huge. Had too many vent cycles. This year, hope to source or kludge an in-line dehumidifier so I can keep the sealed chamber where it needs to be without wasting CO2.
3/22 no more vertical growth, thank god, leaves and roots are slowly catching up. Patience. EC to 0.7

Super easy grow , i hst & topped this girl early & I think that really helped her out !!! She was grown in living soil so no NPK was given to this girl at all .. she smells just like lemonade, and finish on day 71 from seed !! Super happy with this girl ... she’s drying now , I can’t wait to smoke her!! She smokes super smooth, taste exactly how she smells!! Great job fast buds

D37 - I totally stopped defoliation as there will be no more new leaves from now on. The girls don't need any LST either. All I need to do is just water them and wait for them to mature!
No crispy leaves, no nutrient burn, no flies, no bugs no problem at all.
Only AK2 is a little bit behind on bud development but it is possible that it might need more time in the flowering
The nutrients are still double the recommended dosage.

Terrible weeks weather again so I brought my plants in and bought some cfls woke up in the morning and one had fell off cabinet and burnt one plant to a crisp !! Lesson learnt
