2018-03-13 Week 11 Day 1 As I mentioned last week, the girls are growing like crazy since I changed to 600W HPS,and even though they haven't grown so much higher, they are definetly wider because of LST. My growroom is only about 1.8m2, so now the girls are so wide that there's not enough space for them to get wider, so now I will let them stretch. Nr 1 is 43 cm Nr 2 is 44 cm 2018-03-14 Day 2 I LST'd the girls one last time and also defoliated them mildly so all the tops get as much light as possible, hopefully increasing the yield in the end. I also turn the girls 1/4 lap every day to ensure that all sides of them get as much exposure to light as possible, it would've been great to have some kind of turntable that turns the girls 1 lap in 12 hours,, but until I find out a device that does just that,I'll keep on doing it manually. Added some videos for you to enjoy. 2018-03-18 Day 6 Watering the girls with 2l of plain water (pH 5.8), the soil were dry after 3 days since they got water and nutes. I want to release the remaining dry nutes buried in the soil. Some of the girls got burnt leaves but not from nutes, but from the hps-lamp, they've stretched so much so I raised the lamp about 10 cm, but now I'll keep an eye on the distance between the lamp and canopy, don't want them to get burnt again. Ok so I’m not afraid to say 7.7oz shocked me on the wet weight, I had a goal of 1oz dry being a first time grower, factoring mistakes, this and that so I guess we’ll see if what comes as I read up to 75% in weight can be lost in drying and curing….so fingers crossed I hit my goal 🤞 I harvested based on the 1st photo, I cut a small piece of bud off the main cola at the bottom to really check it under a scope and saw red headed trichomes, so checked the lowest flower and had the same results (photo 1), this was after I’d asked a question earlier based on a photo I took on a leaf and was advised to check the buds instead…so thanks for that info there 👍 Also a big thanks for the comments the looks at this diary. Really looking forward to the next couple of weeks and seeing how the rest of this little venture pans out…I guess we just have to stay tuned😊🤘🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 12 Oct 2021: Harvested 16 Oct 2021: Plant seemed completely dry today which surprised me a little so I snapped stems and yus sir they were ready to be trimmed down….icky sticky, earthy, diesel, piney smells were the hints that were hitting me as I was trimming away, I have a lot of airy buds, which is on me! As a First time grower, until I actually got growing and started to understand the complexity and importance of keeping cannabis growing in stable conditions with par values on lights, feed schedules, trying to keep negative pressure in the tent with passive intake vents, adding lights, humidifier, dehumidifier, more fans…a learning experience indeed and not one I’ll be shying away from. Anyway there’s me blabbing on…..dry weight time 👀 38g/1.3oz and roughly 13g trim so I am extremely happy that even though I’ll probably lose about 8% of this during the cure, I think I made my 1oz goal of smokeable bud 🤘😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 A smoke report is due in 4 weeks when it’s had a bit of time to do what it needs to do!

Yo community! A friend of mine just started a Legal Grow in Germany with his roomate under my Supervision, as it is now Legal to grow in Germany. So I thought about documenting this grow. I've been growing for long time now, but my buddy Bili is a complete newbee at this stuff. I am positive that this "is gonna be huge". We plan on growing 6 plants. Bili is gonna be growing 3 and his roomate also 3 plants. Of course Bili will only care for his own 3 plants and his rommate for the other 3 as it is regulated like that by law. It is Germany where everything has to be like this apparently. lol. This grow will be 2-3 Weeks indoors 51w with low cost 3x17 Watts 4000 k LED Bulbs. (3€ each) Those produce 2500 lumens each, about 147 lm/W 1.45 l pots for the first few weeks indoors. The plants will then go into 5l pots on the window sill until harvest. faced to the south. So far the seeds have been placed into water over night. tomorrow we will put them into the soil. They are all Automatics. Day 2: seeds soaked over night. about 16 hours. The Gelato are already opening their shells.. The others are still closed. All sinked to the bottom over night. We are now planting them into the Soil.:) We soaked 9 seeds. 3x O.B. 4x Kryptonite and 2x Gelato. After cutting the dome off the lamps and counting the LED's (81) it looks like these are 0.21w SMD 31lm per LED (manufacturer says 147lm/w). for bulbs really good little LED's. looks like these are cree 2835 J series or similar types. there are cree 4000k J types that are exactly 31lm wich would be exactly what each LED should produce. (2500/81). Plant in Soil Date was 05 june. 14:00 Today, 2 Days and 10 hours, (58 hours) after planting in soil The 2 Gelatos came to life:) and one Kryptonite basically 3 full days including soaking time. 08.06 at 1:30 is the beginning of VEG Day one We will give them 24 hours light. day 5 after waterglass. Berries still no sign of life. lamp is at 30 cm distance. no signs of stretching. At Day 5 Veg we located the berry seeds and put them into paper towel, cracked them open and scraped the shell. we have enough plants now but nothing to choose from in case a plant has weak genes. So we hope a few berries will make it. probably old Seeds.

Hey Growmies, I apologize for the lame diary this week. I've been sick on and off the last two months and it's really taking a toll on my body and heart condition. Please forgive me as I'm trying to heal up. I'll do the best I can at updating this as I go along. I'm not giving up! The girls look great, despite not giving them as much attention as id like and they deserve. Great week of growth. I let her do her thing. I did minor LST and some hst on the other girls that I haven't made a diary for yet but will. Day 19 of flower.. week 3 of flower is about to wrap up which is nearing the end of the stretch phase. I was pleasantly surprised with the growth on the Watermelon Zkittelz, I've been putting the most work into her as the technique I'm using requires a lot of attention. Next run I will use tie downs and I'll most likely add a trellis here soon too help hold the heavy colas.. but we will see how it plays out. Looking forward to seeing her buds start to stack before my eyes! Thank you to everyone who has helped me through this journey! I've been really sick lately and my girls help keep me going! Day 20 of flower Today went well, I reorganized the tent and cleaned it a bit, I try to clean it once a week or so. I've been hand "drip feeding" one of the girls the last few days. Just an expierment and the plant seems to love it so I'm going to start hand "drip feeding" all of them. I think the Watermelon Zkittelz is going to love some extra food every day! I know us humans do but it's important to make sure the girls aren't stressed and isnt in a nutrient lock out or something. I think it's best when she's running prime! At the end of day 20 of flower I took a video of all the new growth and it was after I reorganized the tent and I feel so much better after doing this. I also turned off all the lights and turned on each light individually so I could see how each light was casting on each plant. This way I know the plants are getting enough light coverage as that is a huge disadvantage of using these budget lights. Excited for the 3rd week to come to an end!! Adding new nutrients next week!! Day 21 of flower ( end of week 3 of flower, 11 weeks from seed ) Grow is going great!! Have a good day!

So this small plant turned out pretty bushy, she got dark of the 1000ppm and now the buds will get huge real soon

The bottom watering worked for the week I think as away happy with results think I might just bottom water regularly and feed the tea from top every other changing 2/8 I did a good clean up and some pining Monday 2/10 I will filp to flower I also added power bloom today 2/8

Well, this is certainly a special strain. MASSIVE colas and rock hard nugs combined with an earthy flavor is an instant winner in my books. 124 dried and cured grams from one plant in a 3 gallon hand watered soiless mix, so this genetic definitely has the potential for more greatness. Smoking on this now and it is a smooth smoke with a relaxing and uplifting body feel to it. A long lasting stone and a very pungent smell. Fastbuds did a great job on this product.

No nutrients for now. Straight water. Will add nutrients on day 2/3 of week 11. Growing quite nicely for a first grow. Will have to implement a proper LST on next grow. This time around was just to learn about the growing process. Good progress over the past few weeks.

Had a bit of a cat-tastrophy this week. I left my tent open to go and fill a bucket of water, came back and zipped it up. What I didn't know is that the cat got in. Not 5 minutes later I can hear all sorts of shit moving around so I came in to find I had zipped him and and he went bonkers and bent almost every branch on the Skunk. So I had to do emergency tie jobs, but I ended up losing 2 medium colas and 1 small one. Could have been much worse if the skrog net wasn't there to stop them from snapping. Injuries look like bent plastic straws, so I'm going to be watching her closely to see if she herms from that massive amount of stress. Some of the pics have cat hair in them, thank the little brat. Anyway, Skunk is a 45-50 day finisher so I'm going another week and then she gets the chop. Lots of microscope videos today and finally found an amoeba. Also something moving in an egg...what is it? That's at 400x so I think it's a nematode egg based on what I found online. If you look closely at the super zoomed in trichome shot, you can see the reflections of other trichomes...just fucking epic.👏 All the food stops now, too much in the soil for her to start senescence. Nothing but water and FFJ now. New pistils are still coming in so who knows, maybe she'll keep going a few more weeks.
