This was the last week of Veg for these beautiful ladies. Installed the SCROG on Sunday afternoon, and they are already filling it in nicely. Started reducing light Thursday by 2 hours, so by Saturday they will be on a 12/12 light cycle to finish them off 🤗. Did some defoliation, and have been twisting and spreading the tops to fill the canopy screen. They are very thirsty, I had been watering every 3-4 days, and for the past week it’s been 2-3 and they are getting close to a full gallon each! I’ve Upped the light % gradually over the last 14 days from 50% to about 75% now in prep of flower. They have been responding well to the increases, as well as the extra heat generated. Temps are going up a bit, close to 81-82 degrees on very hot days here, but they are not too often. Average is about 79 degrees. Nutrients (P and K) were increased also in prep for the demand the flower makes as they begin. Looking forward to the good part. Happy growing 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

4/27/25 Struggling to figure out how to keep her smaller and to let her fill out. Shes so long and lanky. So theres some unorthodox training going on at the moment. Hopefully itll all work out. My landscape staples are too short and the soil isnt compacted much so i have her pulled down to the soil and swirled around the pot to keep her contained within her own small space at the moment. in hindsight i suppose i could top her more 🤷🏾‍♂️

Our little Do Si Dos has started to flower, the main lining has given it a very nice bonsai look, there are a good number of buds that are coming up. The plant is an exemplary with a very short internodal distance, the mini brunches were growing and becoming lignified quickly. It probably won't produce a lot of grass but it will be very beautiful to look at, full of resin and flower quality for sure. I deal with the image of cannabis and the eye also wants its part, what can I say. We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start schedule that keeps the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a bit swollen, do not start immediately. Harvested the Lung Busters on day 64. Was seeing about 5% amber on all plants, which is what I personally prefer. Looking like this will be a great harvest! These branches were chunky, and especially LB#2 was suuuper stacked with nodes. Super excited for the trim jail on these and the Miami Mamis. Will post more pics of both strains when I trim! Will also have dry weight numbers when I trim. I don't usually weigh my plants wet.

Stressful grow honestly I have ptsd from my last grow being a complete Hermie den I literally had to check them every single day wondering if the swollen ovule’s were actually seeds lol well anyway I had to harvest at week 6! And this shit still came out ridiculously good smell✔️Taste✔️Bag appeal✔️✔️✔️ Great strain can’t wait to grow it again !

// Harvesting and drying Since this was an outdoor grow, I did my first bud wash. I tried the method with citrus juice and backing soda. Was okay, I know I got all the street dust and fine dust away from her. But bud washing simply does not help enough when it comes to pests. The mites stick to the trichomes and you can't really to anything about it. Good thing is that most pests are on the leafs and not really on the buds themselves. Drying was smooth. 7 days approx. which is good if you think about the heat wave that hit us right during the drying time. 30°C in the tent is just bad for the drying process so I can't complain with the quality I got out of it.
