Good morning, everyone! Today, I bring mixed news from our garden. Unfortunately, the news is not the best for our beloved feminized plant. As we can see in the picture, the stem is quite thin and fragile, which compromises the healthy growth of the plant. As we know, the stem plays a fundamental role in the structure and development of the plant. It provides support for the branches and leaves, allowing them to carry out photosynthesis. Additionally, it is through the stem that water is transported from the roots to all parts of the plant. Despite having placed a support that has helped a little, only the next few weeks will tell how her development will be. I am sharing my experience with plant growth, and you are invited to follow this mystery with me. Will she reach flowering? What will be the maximum height she will reach? I will document each stage, and together we will discover the outcome of this story. On the other hand, the news is promising for our automatic plant! Since the last update, it has grown another 4 cm. The temperature this week has been quite favorable, with plenty of sun and little wind. By watering it with pH 6.5 - 7 water and using quality soil, I am confident that it will continue to thrive and reach the 5th week of vegetation in great condition. Entering third week...all of my plants have developed second pair of leaves and third one is growing already! Had an issue with watering as in first week I have overwatered, last week I have underwatered. Week 8 begins with lots of buds. I let them be for now and let the buds grow. Can't imagine that they will only have about 27 days left.. Lets see if I let them live a little longer, since they were late flowering on week 6 rather than week 5... They all look amazing in the middle of week 8... Buds all over - everywhere you look :) And they keep on getting taller every day... The tallest one is now about 65cm.

For 30th April: The aroma in the tent is ramping up. It is pure correlation, but it seemed to have increased as soon as the UV light was installed. The white widows all have a delicate perfumed lemon mango smell. The gorilla glue is spice and pine. Ph is good at 6-7 in all four pots. Still fighting the deficiencies in one of the widows. The brown spots didn’t seem to slow down my last widow grow. But it also has very pointy leaves, where the other two younger widows have fat dark leaves. She’s bigger, older and hungrier than the other two. She might just need more feed. I need to keep the calmag going. I have been sporadic with it but I’ll make it a regular feed addition from now on.

For my first experience using salt type nutrient, everything seems to be going well. No deficiencies and no signs of stress. Mixing is super easy and everything dissolves 100%. My lights were gradually raised by 5-10% every day until 100%. Beginning the week PPFD was almost 1000, now it is almost 1500 PPFD. To supplement all of the light these plants will get, high doses of CO2 are given during daylight hours. The room stays at 1500ppm at a minimum. By weeks end everything under the net will be stripped and the canopy thinned of all large fan leaves. One big stressful event, so the rest of flower the plants can be left alone to bloom. It’s best to do it once IMO. I believe things are right on track. Calyxes are already starting to form on all of the plants and things will only get better from here. Muay Thai is still slowly growing. She is 65 cm tall. This week grow is slight and won’t turn her into a 3-meter sativa dominatrix. The key thing is that she won’t finish any time soon if she keeps growing. My experience is that Thai sativa can go for nearly a year. I doubt it is the case for this auto. But Muay Thai sure takes her time. The good thing about longevity is that head high seem to increase with flowering time. Muay Thai is in the sunniest spot. Bad part about this spot is that she is next to aphid and black mold nest. Neighboring plant is a hibiscus and magnolia. This is aphid season. With aphid sugar secretion, there are black mold everywhere. I think it is aspergilus niger and not that dangerous. Still, I went overboard with anti-pest microbe spray. The microbes comes in wheat flour format. And after frequent spray without the rain, white marks accumulate on leaves. Growing environment, midst of tropical winter. By European standard, mild climate but with 11 hours day light. VPD T RH % Hottest 1.88 28 50% Morning day 1.40 23 50% Night 1.21 18 41% Feeding what I am feeding my other plants. This is milk, molasses, and fish bone tea. Muay Thai would be fine without the feeding. But since I already made it for other plants and I don’t think it will overdose Muay Thai, I also fed here with these.
