The sugar mama has lots of catching up to, at least she is growing fine now. No idea about that fastberry and what it is doing. I've pegged the Candy Kush #1 down some more and removed the leaves that are covering new grow or touching soil. Lots of branches coming up, albeit slow :) Candy Kush #2 and the Bubble Kush are just a sight to behold, lots of branches and quite big for their age. The Bubble Kust is only 21 days from seed in that picture! Amazing! I've only been tucking the fan leaves to give more exposure to the new grow, seems to have been working well so far. I think I will need to train them this week, just a little LST bending the top cola down. All 3 Kush's are big enough now to handle some nutrients so I've them for the first time today. The little ones will need to wait. I've found some White Powder Mildew on my outdoor plants, so just in case I've sprayed these girls with Neem Oil, never liked the smell of it :( but I am going to be using it every week or so as a preventative measure. I'll update again in a couple of days for the end of week 4 (this is mid week update, kind of) ------------- End of week 4 update. Candy Kushs and Sugar Mama at day 28, Bubble Kush and Fastberry are 24 days. All the girls are looks really well, showing slight signs of magnesium deficiency, I'll be giving them biobizz calmag with next watering. The fastberry is finally starting to look like a normal plant. Still perplexed by the top bud growing sideways/downward.

Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. hey all, let's do an experiment with budswelling and without ! i know it will not be exact science but i will give some insight if it works or not. i have got 2 C.banana and 2Royal Gorilla on 1 plant of each sort i have done my budswelling so we can compare both strains and the effect at the end of harvest to see if it makes a difference or not. in my believe it makes a difference but i can not prove it maybe this will give an idea if it makes a difference or not. also i have put an video on how i do the budswelling with scissors or with fingers. i prefer to do it with fingers it's a lot quicker then with scissors. You need to do this on al the buds not only on top. Some say you need to do this every week but i only do it after 3or 4 weeks into flowering.

Flushing begins for the Og kush and blueberry. All three plants are incredibly sticky, stanky, dense and heavy! The OG Kush plants are blowing my mind, I'm amazed at how much they have fattened up the last week. The super lemon haze starts week 7 and is also sticky and stanky, she's also starting to pack on weight and density.

For so long there was no answer for weeks, because at the time when I could take pictures and write, ultraviolet worked - you should not interact with it without protection, and there it is +30 ... heat, even more so in clothes! All the leaves were burned, but how the firebrands swelled !!! Flushing is over, today or tomorrow we will “cut down”. It's early October, and the weather is getting worse. I hope it holds out for another one to two weeks because it's currently raining more frequently. The buds smell sweet and are slowly turning frosty.

So this round I just lollipopped and didn’t strip the top at all, with better veg next round it’ll work better but I’m having issues with some plants not quite trellised how I’d like. Everything smells great, BCS,BD and WM are getting fat and PKB is frosty and tight. Watering is more of a chore than I’d like I think I’m just going to use some 5s for the next round . As said several times but it is worth repeating when harvesting, this time we followed the logic of comparing 2 plants: the first left to grow freely with just a little cleaning and the second with the application of techniques, a mainlining to be precise. Speed: The good news is that they practically matured together, the one without techniques is perhaps a little more mature but really just a little. Both ready in 10 weeks. Resin/scents/taste: Truly an excellent level of resin and a fantastic coffee/chocolate scent that develops from the trichomes, it wouldn't be easy to say that it's CBD if I didn't know, delicious already in the dry room ready for 15-20 days of treatment and then off to the Autoflower World Cup, they definitely go in the CBD category. Production: The amount of grass is not bad at all, considering that they grew in full winter in vegetative mode, that they are in an 11-liter pot, in my opinion we are around 100 grams both maybe a little less. Let's remember 10 weeks guys now the plants go very fast without losing quality.... At least those of Zamnesia... I'm very happy to have some CBD to consume, I recently ran out of oil and I miss it a bit. This one is going to be weirdly exciting like all grows… but nothing beats growing strain you know nothing about down to to it’s ID. This is why this diary is dubbed Unknown Strain, and a lot more journals will be dubbed unknown strain. eg. Unknown Strain #1 - these strains are seeds I’ve collected and forgot to catalogue Unknown Strain (dealer/grow name #1) - I have it this way,to indicate where or from whom did I get the seed, but failed to get the accurate information regarding the strain. Alike this particular diary. I received seeds from my friend saplug16.20_exotic_genetics. Check out his work on instagram, his my mentor in growing. But I go overboard when it comes to growing. Ever since I’ve seen YouTube videos of growers growing weed plants like bonsais, I started growing my plants like I am growing actual bonsais, LST them in shapes and size while using defoliation and topping to achieve aesthetics. This type of growing is not focused on yield more for the hobbyist who grows for themselves and close friends. But I want to see if I can get more yield with this type of growing bud.

The flowering started! I'm very excited to see those first little white "hairs" in my plants. Everything is going well, the stems are getting thicker and flowers are groing very fast. I'll keep you all updated with this, send me good vibes!

Hit her with some Shogun after a very bad start and struggling in soil i don't have any soil nutes except the biotabs and vertafort so hit her with the Coco nutes and u can see the difference she's took off and looks healthy and happy looking to get out this week as should be decent weather from here hopefully looks like she's perking up just in time gonna top her get some side branches before putting her out not much else to say thanks for reading happy growing guys... Update managed to get her out she's not happy but oh well put some biotabs crushed it the soil with some mykos cleared shurbs from around her sprayed some antipesticide and bug spray around her and sprinkled some slug powder away from but round her gonna be a mad one if she takes off can't wait to see how big she gets

First ever harvest! Plant #2 has been covered in trichomes for the last two weeks and with a jeweler's magnifying glass and my camera phone zooming 7x it's clear that many of trichomes have turned amber. I chopped her down last night and have been hanging the branches upside down in a cardboard box with a fan and dehumidifier. I've read I should keep the temperature in the 70s F and the humidity around 50%. I'm doing my best but the garage isn't well insulated so I'm at the mercy of the weather. I'll keep an eye on them and when the branches snap easily I'll get them in jars for curing. Plant #1 still has some time to go. The branches are filling out but to the naked eye there are no trichomes. When I look with the magnifying glass I can see them but I'm concerned that #2 had been coated in them for about two weeks now. Should I just wait? I think I'll just wait

This plant came down after 115 days of life, and 59 days of flower. I enjoyed everything about this plant for the entire grow. It didn't give me any problems with nutrients that were hard to handle. It had minor burns at the tips, but that's usually what I'm looking for in my nutrient levels - right at the limit. The plant became super smelly towards the end. So much so that I got a letter about it 😶. It got even smellier when it was trimming. I'm really looking forward to seeing how these buds will look after drying up. I'm really hoping to see extra dense buds with some heft to them.

Start of week 5. It looks good to me, healthy but I thought it would stretch a little more. At the beginning of this adventure I had problems with fungus gnats, which I thought had already been resolved but it isn't, there aren't many of them and they aren't harming the plant, at least for now.
