these girls are getting to the finish line and they are starting to get fat, they are really dense buds, solid as a rock. Added some Epsom Salts and more uptake acids and bloom amendments. Cant wait to smoke these Dank Girls. They will also be going outside for this years outdoor crop.

She came down yesterday, was done much before yesterday but was waiting for the coco to dry out. I'm growing this one again soon this one got stunted. The buds came out decent and smell like lemon and pine to me.

Day 85 - first day of Week 13 and she is going into darkness for 48 hours. Hasn't been watered since 2 days. Even though she looks the least done of all three, her trichomes are now a good 20-30% amber with the rest milky and some tiny bits of clear. I checked her buds on the calyx all around, from top buds to middle to bottom. She really shows a lot of heavily swolen calyxes, which I have never seen like that. I can now add that to the things I learned/experienced: calyxes swell a lot before the plant is finished. Let's see. My Girl Scout Cookies does not look like she even has calyxes. Funny individuals. Happy wedding cake day, almost 😍 Day 88 - out of darkness. She was in there for 2,5 days. Opening the drying tent she gave off a really strong smell of hash 😍wow. She has some nice looking buds and looks def. more done, but below her dress, she has some light fluffy buds. I have hung all of them now in the dry tent, after I removed some of the bigger fan leaves. One part of it, I think I want to low and slow dry in the fridge. I am interested in finding out about the difference in taste, when a more wholesome profile is retained. I bought a small tent (40x40cm), a small oszillating fan hung over the buds/on top of the tent. Due to size limitations, I have the filter on the bottom with the duct leaving the tent at the bottom connecting to an exhaust fan. Inside the tent I have a humidity sensor from an Inkbird Humidity regulator. Connected to that is a mini-dehumidifer and a humidifier. I have set it to 20°C (68F) and 50-55% humidity. I'm excited to see how long my dry will last this time. My first grow was drying way too fast in the middle of the heat wave last year with 30% humidity. The overview added to the pictures, I started making over Christmas. It was when I noticed, that I'm a so impatient, and that something must be wrong, especially in the first weeks. I get so obsessive, that I tend to overcare. Which she showcases beautifully in this overview. I hope this will calm me down the next time. Oh my haha Let's see what the final dry weight is. DAY 49 FLOWERING: sorry about the video this week. Very long week and it is hot in the grow room now. My camera is not as good on my phone now so the quality suffers I think. Bare with me on this one. Lol Now the important bit , the plants..... All of the purple monkey look amazing now with their pinks and reds shimmering in the lights. They smell amazing now and all look so ready besides a flush of new pistils all over most of them. #3 is not at that stage and may be harvested any day now I think bitbthebother 2 need another week i feel to hit their best before ripening off. Tine will tell this week. They have been rock solid throughout this heatwave and even with very dry pots issues , have not skipped a beat. Certainly one to grow again. Banana mash are all looking slightly different in how they have dealt with the heat now. A lot of yellowing starting to happen on a couple and the other two have great trich build ups , very different from each other but all the same age ect.. They will need about 2 more weeks i think and expect a 10 week flowering period for them now. They are very sweet smelling now and their shaggy appearance and long spikes are very appealing. The younger crosses are now starting to swell up more too with the exotic? Looking like it will be a good finisher too. It is easy to see the mimosa Lemin genetics in both of them now but no clue in which exotic the ? Is yet.... With all that said , they are feeding g better now the temp has dropped a little and the end is close now growmies. Be safe and healthy

Hello. Got the plants into the main grow room. There is 2 videos . In the first I just sit in the room quitly and turn the camera. you get a sense :) of what it's like in there. In the second I try to describe what's in the room, equipment and maybe a new technique. With the tomato cages I use, and needing the plant to slow down, I twist the stock into a large figure 8. Eventually I take off what is on the lower part of the 8, and just work the top of the 8. About 2 weeks in veg in this room. Then I take clones of everything before I switch to flower. >Carbon dioxide enhancement: I had to make that choice 20 years ago. I could, rent a tank and have my name on a list, at the gas store. Or make my own. They didn't have the small propane tanks like they do today for the blue flame you get when you burn it. I decided on a kerosene lamp burning down as low as it could be without going out. It makes a half blue and half yellow flame. I vent constantly so the small amount of carbon monoxide is not a problem. For the first week you can smell it a bit, but the smell disappears after that. I light the lamp in the morning and put it out at lights out (unless it's bed time). It needs to be put in a place in the room that cant get knocked over (pets, children, ?). I try to use extra attention whenever I use it. It can burn down the place. Be careful Please. >About 17 years ago I thought I'd lower my table by knocking a hole in the cement and dropping my 10 gallon reservoir more. I was able to lower it by 16 inches. Still have to watch the height of some plants though, it worked out well. Watch the video. > Air cleaner: The reason I got a big 8 inch exhaust fan was, I had a bout of powder mildew and needed better a exhaust system. When I plugged it in there was too much air moving. I phoned and asked and the salesman said that a dimmer switch wasn't a good idea. I put one on anyway. Works great. I have the fan barely on in the winter and about half way on in the middle of the summer. I haven't had any powdery mildew since. About 12 years ago I bought a good air cleaner. An ORECK, It has electrified plates that zap any organic particle or spore that come between the plates. Use to grow a Northern Lights that got 6 to 8 ounces per harvest, it grew big buds. Buds as big as my forearm. I had problems with gray mold attaching the buds. But none since I bought the air cleaner. Ya learn as you go.

Week 7 begins and things are finally settling after a tough pest battle. I’ve been hitting spider mites with Bioneem + Neudosan sprays regularly (lights off), and the difference is clear — far fewer webs now. Ants were crawling up stems a while back, but a dish soap rinse handled them well and I’m barely seeing any now. Bud sites are fattening up, trichomes are mostly cloudy, and the smell is classic Blue Cheese funk — sharp and sweet. Harvest Plan: Going for a split harvest: Top colas around day 63–66 (week 9), depending on trichome progress. Lower buds/popcorn will stay on for 5–7 days more for extra ripening. Trichomes: Mostly cloudy, pistils ~60% browned and starting to pull back. Feeding Notes: Still finishing up bloom feed — Ripener starts week 8. Final stretch ahead. Just managing airflow, keeping a close eye on trichomes, and prepping for flush. Let’s finish strong baby!

Week 8 begins for mandarin dreams and divine storm. All four ladies are frosty, sticky and the mandarin smell is incredibly strong. Finally harvested this girl at days 68. She is heavy. After cutting the ties, this girl just fell over from the weight! Very minimal larf! Even the lower bud sites are nice! Can't wait to see what she weighs once dry! First DWC grow was an overall success!
