Start of week 3 and they are fine built a SCROG that I will drop after I mainline them 10/29/20 So the Mango Kush and the Grape ape were topped at 3rd node after the 5th grew out I kept the tops and cleaned them up and cloned them will be making a diary reversing them once I know Forsure they took root. Been having bad weather lately because of the hurricanes so the temps in the tent in the shed are in the 60’s tomorrow I will be insulating the tent to aid with that problem 10/30/20 The 2 that were topped yesterday are recovering and today I topped the Gelato 41 after they all shake back I will tie them down and start the mainline process

So today I gently bent her to start with lst since she's already showing pre flowers. 29 Today I added mulch! I used shredded straw and grass clippings. I also upgraded her lst. I love using natural elements as little sticks to help with lst! Unfortunately with the mulch the photos are a bit confused. And today we had a little friend, a bumblebee! 🐝 as far as I know, there are no other outdoor cannabis plants in the surroundings so I'm not afraid of accidental pollination. She's clearly concentrating on her 2 new "tops".

Day 65 - Pics/Vids..... Everything looks good......stress bent them into position and defoliated ..... lots of flowering now..... ..... hadn't actually measured them for awhile, and updated the height, 44 cm .... tested out the lights higher, 40cm away, and seemed to slow down growth... so moved em back, 20-25cm... watering is the same, bottom saucer feeding, 850-1000 ppm dutch master one flower 5-8ml/lt.... actually using about 12-15ml / 1.8l....... Day 70 (10 wks) - Pulled em both out of tent, flushed em and trimmed em abit, took some pics/vids in the sunshine. ...... the soil started smelling bad, - stale, moldy, damp, soil smell..... so i did a full flush out on both.... noticed afew gnats, been afew since the start, but haven't really been many.... i'm going to try out a UV bulb, and also a usb uv led bug trap ..... just ordered them.... posted a pic of both... see if they are any good..... 😎

17.3.25: So I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with 4ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids. I have really overdone the nutrients, I got carried away 😅 To try and rectify the situation, I've cut everything out except Cal-Mag amino acids. I will try to just stick to this with some Biosys, but I'm running out of that now, too. Anyway, with Or Without, I'm sure it'll balance out. Fingers crossed 🤞🌱✌️💚 21.3.25: The plants are all getting plain water PH'd to 6.4. I have removed all nutrients and water every plant 1-2 litres daily. I would probably have continued using the Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids. However, the NPK is 4-0-0. So, whilst it's great stuff, I don't need the extra nitrogen. I add Ecothrive Biosys to some of the waterings. Unfortunately, I have very nearly run out. So I'm using it on selected plants, which I think could use a bit of TLC. I checked the soil PH of all pots, and it was bang on 7.0 for each one. Substrate temperature was 19°C across the board. The soil moisture meter said the soil was dry in every pot: I chalk that up to being my medium, as it's very aerated and of low density. Also, I never water to run off. So I'm unconcerned about that. All being said, I'm hoping to see some of the plants stored nutrients be tapped into and try to balance things back out. They definitely have had a little too much feed. It does seem like apart from the leaves, they are all looking great! The plants are drinking heavily, and I watered 4ltrs to Do-sì-dos, 2ltrs to Pink Mist, 3ltrs to Bubble Kush, and 3ltrs to Gorilla Cookies. The pots had already completely dried out. Really happy with the quality, only had three plants so yield was down on usual. The THC content was absolutely insane, two of the phenos had a zkittlez terpene and the other was more gelato leaning. This is my favourite strain of barneys to date👍

Bad Weather

Watermelon auto is hurting this week. The neem oil spray is always so harsh on my plants. I am trying a different a way of spraying them, spray, wait a half hour, and rinse off. But leave on the under side of leaves. Since they like to hide there. Hopefully it will help. I have not seen new ones on this plant. They were on another. It has been a horrible year for issues in my grows. First i have to say i messed up at gemenation 3 of them dyed and had to gereminat again. So: Sweet seeds: Black Cream Gem at 30/3, Veg at 6/4 is now preflowering at week 3 and was the only one that didnt dyed. Zamnesia: Wedding Cake Gem at 6/4, Veg at 12/4 is now at week 2 Bomberry Glue Gem at 8/4, Veg at 14/4 is now at week 2 also Purple Couscous Gem at 11/4, Veg at 17/4 is now at end of week 1 Its going to be a strange diary but because the timelapse ideia makes all sense just to make one Diary. When I was enjoying some smoke from a green gelato came to my mind what if i automated my garden? Hand on in some zigbee sensores and plugs and my Hassio. Still No soil moiste control just a miflora but not very accuret still searching for sensor that works to come up with a watering system All its maid to have a <300watts consum so small lamps and no dehumidifier buts very easy to scale it up. Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution. Perfect for how much seaweed I've added just incase.
