05.07. - 11.07. (DD.MM.) On 05.07. I corrected my LST again. The growth of the plant had increased considerably by 06.07.. When examining the plant, I noticed the first beginnings of flowers as can be seen in the pictures. So we are at the end of the growth phase and starting the flowering phase. I cut off a large leaf from one of the main branches because it was shading the branches below. (see pictures) I also cut off two small old leaves from the bottom as they were completely shaded and interfered with watering. (see pictures) I also watered about 500ml without fertilizer because some leaf tips were dark green and bent downwards. (see pictures) 08.07. Plant is growing great watered with about 1l with flowering fertilizer. About 200ml of water has flowed out of the bottom of the pot after watering, it has a pH of 6,5. I interrupted the lighting of the plant for about 4 hours today because i moved house. 10.07. Watered with about 500ml with flowering fertilizer.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. Day 50, cruising along, very easy to look after so far, when they show me they are in true flower I will start adding Bud Explosion and drop off the Epsom and Mega crop if need be.

This was definitely a good week, I was a little concerned after the power outages we had last week, but it just goes to show how resilient my babies are..there was no signs of stress, the buds are swelling up, tricomes are developing..actually some already started to turn cloudy..I did increase the strength of the nutrients this past week..they are receiving a ppm close to 1000..or 2.0-2.1 ec..no signs of nutrients burn..I may do a slight increase some time this week knowing that flushing is right around the corner..other than that, no complaints on my end..will continue you update you in my next upload😎

So it has come to an end of the 5th week of flowering . In this week i changed my reservoir for the first time. I spend more time monitoring the change of the reservoir and found out that the ppm of it was higher than the initial value. When i premix the solution it was around 850ppm but when i added it to the medium within 2 days it jumped to 1300-1400 . That caused a slight nutes burn but it was very mild. The other thing i found out is that the ph tends to become lower when it is added to the medium , i found some deficiencies on the leaves and i knew immediately that my ph was messed up. There are three things that i don’t really understand what i did wrong . 1.The size of the buds , since it is the end of week 5 into flowering . The buds seems underdeveloped compared to others. 2. I can’t see any trichomes clearly yet (very few) 3.why do i have a lot of sugar leaves and lots of small buds instead of few big buds. 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨

Son 2 plantas de esta genetica. Una es mas vigorosa que ptra, pero son muy similares en cuanto a su fenotipo. En esta semana ya notamos el engorde que se viene propiciando luego del overdrive. Tratamos de a poco ir bajando la EC para llegar 0.0 en el corte. La luz sigue baja procurando mantener una buena seleccion de terpenos y resina.

Plants seem like they are slow to start showing flowers, I had to swap out one of the dragonsblood hashplant as it’s either a herm or male I’m getting a microscope tomorrow so will go over all plants thoroughly and double check sex. So far 1 confirmed male. Photos 2 days after a leaf stripping. Also figured out my RH issues see video.

Week 5 of Flower is over and my Papaya Cake girl is showing her true colors and smells! She is in full bloom and pumpin trichomes like a Queen. Report: I’m seeing a “tiny” bit of nutrient deficiency pop up but nothing to be alarmed about. She been getting straight 6.2 ph water and nothing else from here on out. Shout out to the YouTube channel “Welcome to the Grow tent” and “Growweedeasy.com for pointing out a few mistakes I’ve made along the way and saving my ass when I thought it was a Nute defi but was just a root bound plant. Their reccs have made a HUGE diff in my yields and overall plant structure. The last run with this strain was nothing like this girl. The smell in the morning around 8:40 and 6:40pm in the evening is something you could write a book about.🎂 Your nose picks up faint odor of papaya and vanilla wedding cake. Hence the lineage she came from would make the most sense. Do you talk to your plants? I do and I know they are paying me back for the CO2 they need. I’m def enjoying the fruits of my labor as they say. Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s, they are hanging and drying now. The 3rd is definitely looking better than the first 2. I think the first 2 will probably be turned into edibles, rather than smoked. The 3rd is looking much better overall and especially in terms of bud development, she will probably be smoked. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible.
